Gambling being legal in a country is not the main reason why people gambles and even in some restricted countries, people continues to find a way to play. It's because gambling gives them a good feeling when they play the game and a thrilling experience when they are betting their money to find that huge multiplier.

It's important for a gambling casino to be legal so that no problems are going to be experienced in their business and it's important for us gamblers to play only on a legal casino so that there will be interruptions and we are sure that the games are fair. It's great if the gambling company helps charities. I don't mind losing there if I know I can also help some poor souls.

I think gambling is a bad addiction. I started gambling as a hobby and now I am totally addicted to gambling. I don't know how I can quit gambling. But I gamble most of the time when I am free.  I have sold many of my possessions due to gambling. I want to quit this bad addiction but I can't do it any way.

The profits they get make them survive the world of gambling. So that the perception of other people he considers as a passing wind because they can only talk without producing anything.
Not all gamblers are criminals. However, not a few gambling players commit crimes by stealing and other crimes in order to get capital to gamble. so that the perception of other people considers that gambling is a bad act and gambling players are criminals. And gambling places that are synonymous with the dark world are increasingly making gambling a bad thing.


I have to admit that quitting the world of gambling is difficult even though I often experience defeat.

No body has the right to control and adult and determine what he should do and what not to do. The reason why people are being discouraged from gambling is to avoid abuse such as under age gambling and addiction.
I have nothing against responsible gambling. That is setting out about 5% of your income for gambling which is fun.
Gambling is part of human activity, you cannot eliminate it, even robbery and kidnapping that is so so bad is still happening in our society.

The reasons why people gamble differs for each person ranging rom just having fun to all that they stand to gain by gambling.

Most young people you see gambling today do so just  because of some news they read or heard somewhere, imagine coming across an article online on how someone waggered $0.1 and won $1000 on a gambling site you would also be tempted to try it out yourself since the money you are able to risk is more like a change to you and that's how they all become addicted to it.
While some just do it for fun, these type are not the compulsive ones that their amin objective is to win! win!! and win!!! These ones knows when to call it a quit and have a lower chance of becoming addicted at some point...

So in essence, some gamble for monetary gain, some for fun, some also gamble so that they can clear their thoughts and forget about the challenges they are going through in life. It all depends on the individual involved there's no single reason behind it.

For anyone to get beaten by parents or guardians for taking part in gambling then such a person must be less than 18+ or still under parents care and as such the parents still does legally have a say in their decisions about life. If they love gambling that much then they have to wait for the ripe time when they are independent of themselves.
People will always criticize what they don't have interest for and it's normal for we humans. And there's no mystery attached to gambling and why people still gambling irrespective of all the so-called critiques. We all gamble for the fun and the profit attached to the fun by when we win, that's why good gamblers frown at gambling addiction.

That's why I never agree that online casinos, which we can easily access so far, require KYC as well to prevent underage children from playing casinos, especially those who are still school children, after all, school children don't have to play gambling if they want to make money, they you can just ask the parents because it's their responsibility to give money to their children.

There is no mystery whatsoever, everyone who gambles usually only has two goals, the first goal is to double the money to make money from the casino and the second goal is to seek pleasure, but when I was in school I gambled just wanting to make extra money, usually football sports betting with school friends my other . but when I'm an adult and working now have a family I gamble just for fun. 

Because it's bad only if you have no money. You see, gambling is entertainment for the rich because they have money. It's often combined with luxury resorts/hotels. If people that have no money want this expensive entertainment, well, they will self-destruct since it will put too much financial burden.

When you are rich and successful, what society (a group of average joes) think doesn't matter. You'll be free to do what you want including what society deemed "bad."

Actually gambling does not make a bad view in society if you can control yourself for the better, most people who gamble are the lower classes who do not have a fixed income and do not have good financial management, so that it makes them look bad and addiction they have involving Criminal activities so that people conclude that gambling brings disaster, even though the main key is that yourself in this case.
I did gambling, people knew that I gamble but they did not say I'm bad even though basically in my environment it is very unhappy if someone gambles but if it is fragrant about me they don't talk much, because I have success in life, active income, The family is happy and everything goes on with what I expect, and my gambling does not affect anything about my life or character so that the possibility they cannot say bad about me.

Why do people still gamble, it's not a mystery, but we have found the answer, which is because they are addicted and or seek fun in gambling, even though people say bad about you because of gambling, but you are addicted to gambling, you will not care about what is said other people, as well as people who are looking for pleasure in gambling, if you think you can feel happy, calm, comfortable, and happy with gambling, why should listen to others, after all it is human rights to get happiness, the most important thing to remember is , what is important in gambling that we do does not harm others.

The reasons that brings people to gambling are a lot of them but their objective is mainly the same,everyone of us when starting a new session in a casino we are deep inside us hoping for that maximum win of a slot machine,of hitting the jackpot of some other or winning a big tournament that the casino organizes.

Beside that gambling is deep in our roots since at least 4000 years before Christ so once we feel sad or look for something to entertain us,gambling is usually one of the first choices.

gambling shouldn't take the place of important things in your life, going to school is very important as much as it is necessary, and it isn't even a threat to education so why would anyone abandon going to school all in the name of becoming a gambler, you'll only be seen as a nuisance in your society.

It's not right to make one part of your life suffer over the other, carry everything along, go to school, gamble at your leisure, help your parents where necessary and even find a good paying job too.

Some gamblers are just playing for fun to kill time while others are playing and hoping to win huge. Just shows that every gamblers are different and have their own reasons on why they gamble. Moreover, it's not surprising if some people are against gambling because of the negative effect for a player without control. However, not all gamblers are the same so it's not right to judge a person just because he/she is into gambling.

Anyway, as a parent, it's understandable if you want your child to stay away in gambling because of its negative effect. However if they're old enough and earning on their own, they're already aware of what's right or wrong so they can decide for themselves. The effect of gambling can be good/bad depending on how a player treat it and not because gambling is bad.

There is a pretty easy answer to it, our parents aren't a 100% right and we want to make our own decisions in life. Sure our parents want only the best for us and would like for us to grow up and be the best moral citizen in our countries. The problem is that life is more complex than that. If you ask yourself why people still gamble, you should also ask yourself why people still smoke, drink alcohol, eat unhealthy food, build weapons, etc. There are so many habits in our daily life that we should avoid if we only want to do the things that make us better humans. It's not reality, people need things to entertain us, make us feel better and let us get through the day. Working 8-10 hours a day is demanding and we need to reach charge our batteries in the evenings and weekends. Gambling is one way to relax and get out of the dreadful daily routines. With gambling we have the chance to completely change our life and it lets us dream what we could do if we win a huge jackpot.

Gambling continuously depends on hope, people believes that if they continue to gamble they might get lucky one day, only very few gamblers do this because of fun and pleasure from the games they play on the casino.

I don't like gambling every time because it's somehow trying to take over my mind, I want to start missing gambling from time to time and if I give in I won't be able to keep my gambling rules.

To follow my gambling rules I make sure I stay away from gambling news about how people are getting lucky with gambling, it will only fuel my desire for gambling, I don't like reading good news about gambling, I gamble only when I feel like and when I can afford it.

There is a negative notion among people about gamblers. This is because of the reasons that gamblers themselves have caused like taking loans and not keeping promises and taking money from people to feed their greed. This will continue and cannot be changed so easily or overnight.

People gamble because of the rush that comes with risk. But it starts from the greed that comes with big wins and seeing jackpots. Eventually the problem becomes psychological and then recovering from it becomes next to impossible.

The way to reduce this is moderation in playing from the start.

Yes, I agree it is one of the hardest choice. Everytime a Gambler loses he vows not to gamble anymore. Then the next day agains he introspects his gambling and finds a mistake, feeling if he/she doesn't repeats the same mistake it would help in getting the lost money. Again the gamblers gamble and loses again. This is a continuous cycle of a gambling addict and it can be only broken with professional help.

It is called "addiction" my friend.

There are millions of people with a gambling addiction problem and they could care less about what other people say about gambling. There are also millions of people that live in poverty and gambling are giving them hope for a much better life.

People see a VERY small amount of people that are winning large amounts of money and they hope that will also happen to them. A perfect example are all the paid online streamers that are playing with casino funded money.

But that choice is really difficult to make. I mean, I am not an addict to gambling, but I would say that for sure those addicted people, even if they say that they are not, are having a hard time stopping, or even if they want to, they can't because it is difficult to do so. The only solution for those addicted to gambling is to seek help from others and professionals so that they can really stop gambling.

The reason why parents restrict their children to gamble because most children still can't accept the risk of gambling and how to view gambling in a good perspective, although there are a lot people who're old but still not matured yet. There are many cases where children gamble all of their money to earn more money, when they lose all their money, they will look an another way to get money e.g. loan, sell property, took the money from his parents etc.

Very good question! Why everyone is against gambling is because it can be highly addictive and can destroy an individual's life. Everyone near and dear to that individual also gets affected because of gambling. Do we have a choice? Yes, everyone has a choice of either quitting gambling or pursue with this habit. When the habit becomes addiction then the actual problem starts. Every gambler would always deny that they are not addicted but they are, they are just lying to themselves.
