At present, a large number of people take part in bounty companies. Among the ICO themselves, there is a lot of scam. Bounty hunters do not understand the quality of the project (most). Therefore, I think that most investors lose interest in dubious projects.
Projects are not getting funded. And not reaching soft cap at their projected time. They have no any other option than to expect sales period. Once sales period is extended, the campaign period would be extended too.
For 2018 invested money in ico more than in 2017. Many extend campaigns even with the collected softcap because they understand that their project is not sufficiently in demand, and when entering the market, the price of the token or coin is dropped strongly down.
There are many reasons why investors do not invest as much as before, but the main reason they are afraid of losing money!

That's true. Because of this time compression many ICOs get extended as they feel they can still reach their caps if they'd stay a couple months longer because initially the work or complexity of the task was underestimated.
Now because of downtrend market, a lot of projects can't get enough money and they extending the ico to reach at least soft cap. So the bounties of this projects extend too.
Because they can not reach the softcap or they just want to keep raising more money, that is one of the reasons of why they are always extending the deadline.
Sometime that's also one of the reason on why the bounty was extended because of the soft that has not reach.But not only that maybe it has only few investor invest on the project.
There are a lot of swindlers now and people invest money in projects with fear. And bad situation with the market is played a very important role.
Obviously I'm thinking that it is because they cannot gather enough money to perform that goals that they are pursuing, and the extension of Bounty campaign would be helpful thing to gather more money.

Bounty campaigns are extending because they do not achieved the softcap and they think they could achieved it if they extend the bounty campaigns. Many investors lost their interest in investing in ICO because of this cases that is why it is risky to participate in bounty campaigns.

There are only two reasons why these bounty campaigns or ICO's are extending which neither they dont able to reach the minimum cap where they do decide either to extend or would completely stop but most of bounty campaigns as of now are extending.Second possible reason is that most bounties are extending when the market is on dump situation just like on the last or previous project i had joined up they extend because of the current situation or price of ETH which do definitely affects.
Many Bounties now are really extending their campaign because the market fall. Due to the market fall the ICO project could not reach their target hard cap or even softcap, that is why they have to extend for funding and to reach their target.

hello I think that many companies are expanding their ICO for the reason that they want to make their sales on a green optimistic market.
Yes, due to the difficult market situation and many ICO scam makes the project attract capital not as expected. Therefore, the bounty campaign was extended to promote the ICO sold as much as possible. In my opinion, we still accept the project because of the successful ICO sales, the bounty we receive is worth the money. many reasons that caused ICO to extend their sales. some of the comments I've read before give me plenty of reasoned insights. this has much to do with fundraising their hardcap to achieve. ICO will find it difficult to achieve their project targets if a lack of funds. this is part of the token sales strategy for the success of ICO.

Everything follows one after another, if the project that you advertised turned out to be fraudulent, then you will not be paid as well as those who participated in investing in ICO. Crypto-currencies are fraught with big money, which is why they attract a large number of scammers.
Well bounties are only extended if ICO did not raise fund and project core team think they need more promotion , so bounty is increased . now if we ask why ICO are not much successful then one of the reason is scam ICOs as you mentioned but good projects also could not complete hardcap so reason is bear market . in such market why people will want to invest their many in completely new project unless they are assured of big return .
