I know i saw this answer everywhere here on this thread but here it is. ICOs have a really low value and once you buy some you could even have bonus tokens from them. This doesn't mean that the ICO will be successful or would even push through. Actually, investing on any coin is a gamble in itself. Whether you buy altcoins or even bitcoin, you're not sure of it's success. ICOs have a higher chance to be successful but really depends on the research you put on it.

because if they invest in ICO from the beginning, they can get much of tokens and they can get a bonus from the ICO. they can expect to make a bigger profit because if they sell after the ICO is finishing, they can sell all amount plus they can sell all of their bonus tokens too so the profit will bigger. but unfortunately, there is no guarantee for them to always make a big profit because not all ICO will get a success after the ICO is listed in the market.

for me, this makes me more calm with the assets I hold. one way to save assets by investing in ico, as I do with having a lot of eth. I reduce the risk in any decline that this few months have occurred.

i think blockchain still has a long way ahead to come in live. but in short time, it has advantages on some fields like fintech, travel, social network, etc... So i'm interested in some ico, which could make porfit in near future, around 1 year

Investing in anything is also risky but if you choose a suitable coin for you, you can hold for a long time

Depend from the project.
If project close to you and they have good idea or product - why not? I can earn money

Mainly because they understand what ICO is,they have exceptional grasp of what the pros and cons are and balance decision from there.
Had they invested then most likely the ICO project is quite exceptional or has at the minimum potential.
Given that, they are expecting returns from the project at a later time.
And if  I may add, so long as community support is strong with a particular ICO, then potential to grow goes with it.

The answer is very simple: now it is the most profitable solution, taking into account the investments. If you enter a certain project correctly, you can make a lot of money.

Investment ico is like buying stock original stock, which is a low risk investment. Many people make a lot of money by investing in ico, so more and more people are willing to invest in ico.

This is a difficult period for investment.. I think that ICO will soon change its principle to increase investors ' trust.

Some people invest in different ICO because they do not have enough money to invest in Bitcoin. 

I think if we see a good project with a long-term development trend, we should try to invest in it because it will bring us a big profit. But it is difficult to distinguish between good projects and fraudulent projects

There is a higher potential of making money with an ICO
The fact is that it is very similar to an IPO (Initial Public Offering).
Imagine having shares of a company before it hits the public exchange?
But the difference is that IPO's are regulated and ICO's are not.
Yes, there is a higher upside with an ICO but you need to research the companies in detail because
there are lots of scams out there.
Research the company by
1. do they have a real working product or its just ideas?
2. what do they plan on doing with the money?
3. is the business model feasible?
4. is the team capable of implementing the project? are they experts in their field? if they are how do you know if they are? just don't take their word they are experts...research them
5. how big is the market they are looking to hit?
6. are their competitors?how are they different? what edge do they have?

It is the same as just investing in a real company but you need to be more detail and do factual checks on what they do and who they are.
If you are satisfied with all the research and you have answers to these questions than the likelihood that the company you are interested in is a safe investment.

indeed at this time a lot of ICO is accompanied by risks. whether short-term risks or long-term risks. but the risk also affects the value of the coin. if the risk received is large then many investors sell their coins. this can make the coins lower.

I think the reason why other people invest in ICO is because some people want to have a lot of profits, and i think its not necessary to invest especially to those people who don't have knowledge about investing. Also i think doing investing is those people who wants to grow thier coin more or want a bigger profits, but it doesn't mean that all people should invest to have a lot of profit becuase investing is not easy to do and it have a risk.

but this is not guaranteed for us to sell at the high price when the tokens are launch at the market and we need to hold for a long time if the price cannot increase after getting the list in the market. but we have the opportunity to make a lot of profit when the price increase in the future. so I think it is better to be careful to choose what the ICO that will survive for a long time so we could still make a profit with them.

It is highly beneficial to invest in right ICO, but finding such ICO is not exactly that easy. Duecoin is created for that way only, it is a very solid option and something that looks really nice and something that you would feel comfortable with.
