Hello, is there an active project for this architecture?

Unfortunately no, too old cards and no plans for them in near future.

It seems a lot of people use the 570 cards, didn't the VEGA had any success with the miners?
What coins do you guys find most profitable to mine with your setups?

Vega was not an efficient option on ETH mining (where most 4xx/5xx cards are used), fairly low hashrate vs quite high power consumption.
It DID shine on the original Cryptonight algorithm, once the drivers got fixed for large page support - but that was about the ONLY bright spot for it.

It was also very profitable for few months on lyra algo

I go back to equihash.

I hope you mean ETHhash, where the R9-290 is still profitable (barely) if you have SUPER CHEAP electric.
They have never been a good choice for Equihash, and with ASIC units widespread on equihash NOTHING GPU is profitable any more unless your electric is FREE.

nothing with this r9 290 is now pofitable. But i mine and hold for the future. A view equihash coins habe the advantage that the difficulty and hashrate is very low.So you can mine more coins as in the past.
I only mine coins who are Asic resistant (Ltz,Zel,Zer.....)

guys need help, on my AMD 470/570/580 I should use
--opencl-threads 2 --opencl-launch 21x0
or
--opencl-threads 2 --opencl-launch 21x256
and why?
thank you
What algo? This one recommended only for tribus. Also in most cases no need to use 256 for worksize(second value for --opencl-launch), except it works better for you.

Lyra2vc0ban addition was good for me.

Support for Lyra2vc0ban algo can be found here (there i a bug with avg. effort for this algo, so don't worry about red numbers)
So you've added a new algo for one, old, coin with 'no' exchange ?

It wasn't hard and not time consuming, and I added it because it was implemented in CryptoDredge for NVIDIA. Mostly I didn't check coins itself, and warn people about risks in Discord. Anyway, this is the last one algo like this I'm adding. Further I will focus on improvements and check some other interesting algo's.
