I think the whole idea of having cryptocurrency was to throw away the mid channels like banks and financial institutions and to empower crypto holder to have full control over their cryptos. So banks trying to get into bitcoin is fine but allowing our btc into their hands wouldn't be a wise idea.

Banks will eventually do the same what Telecommunication companies are doing right now by providing internet services as there is no longer use of call and sms packages because of whatsapp and facebook. same will be the case with banks. if they are not gonna offer bitcoin deposits, they will ultimately do something to provide services related to bitcoins.

PayAccept - Worldwide payments accepted in seconds
A German bank has used Bitcoin for loan payments and debt repayments from investors. This could be a big step forward for Crypto when there is a country with a large bank that accepts Bitcoin and uses it as a form of payment.

I think it might happen one day. probably after all the bitcoin will be mined and the price can be more predictable. but I am sure the bank will not offer for you excellent conditions.

I think this is possible. Yet I would say at that time maybe banks have become cryptobanks and not just banks that offers money or fiat currency alone. I think there will be a merging of these types of currencies.

We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

when the bitcoin will become too large to ignore and it will be clear that there is no way back, I'm pretty sure some banks will start offering also bitcoin related services.

This is somewhat  possible but I don't think banks can accept Bitcoin deposit. Its really going to affect fiat and might lead to crashing of it. banks are on a journey to battle Bitcoin and win. Accepting Bitcoin in banks is really not a thing to think of but might possibly happen in future .

Banks and other governmental organizations are trying to ban bitcoin thinking of losing the power to control over individuals monetary activities. But soon the banks will offer bitcoin deposits and transactions to compete with the market.

It is difficult to say what will happen in the future, especially with banks, which in fact can almost completely replace online operations. Perhaps the banks will change a lot, maybe they will cease to exist.

It is always said that if you can't beat them you join them to fight, and I think the bank are already finding away to join the queue of bitcoin and it is a matter of time and patient, bitcoin will be accepted in in the banks.

Banks Will not offer Bitcoin deposits if ever because of being volatile. The fuctuation of the price Will cause  big loss for the banks if ever and  it contributes  big benefits for the deposiitors.

Yes many companies are now adopting this kind of technology and generating profits from the beginning. Perhaps one day the bank will realize the huge potential and benefits offered by Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, it is only a matter of time before the majority of them, because they will get the end when they do that, cryptocurrency wants to end the banking system.

Then there will be loans based on bitcoin - charging interest rates to pay the fixed profit. Those loans will have derivate and OTC products. There will be even more trade desks to trade these derivate products and there will be a Bitcoin Wall Street.

I thought we were in crypto because we are fed up with the current system.

As of now no bank ever promotes or accepts bitcoin. Bitcoin contradicts all the qualities and purpose of banks. But maybe sooner or later, banks will eventually have to adapt. Just like old technologies, something new will eventually take over and if banks want to stay relevant then they have no other choice but to accept and adapt changes.

I don't think bank will accept bitcoin as deposit in a first place it' seems contradict and complicated to them, because they were using fiat money while bitcoin is virtual currency and they consider bitcoin as big threat to them..they were afraid to lose and make their job in total mess.

If banks can work modalities to that effect then it will be a good development with a terms and conditions for their customers, depositing bitcoin in banks would be endeared by  Cryptos hodlers however one of the major obstacle is how to address the issue of KYC which is a mandatory obligation in opening a bank account of which people preference for anonymous transactions.

Yes you like to deposit your fiat to the bank and they make money with it but if its Bitcoin. You do not think I will take advantage of this service but it is possible that it will come and they will target the investors or Bitcoin holders who do not really understand what Bitcoin . Many companies are now adopting this kind of technology and making a profit from the beginning. Maybe someday the bank will realize the huge potential and benefits offered by Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, it's only a matter of time before the majority of them can join the trend, so let's hope so.
