I believe that Bitcoin will be in the end replaced by some sort of more advanced digital money system. I am certain of it.
But most likely we won't see this change during our lifetime. I expect bitcoin to be alive and kicking for at least 50+ years.
Worrying about bitcoin's potential replacements and altcoins which can be viewed as BTC 2.0 is dumb idea anyway.

Bitcoin is the first and original coin. It is the highest priced coins in the cryptocurrency world. Bitcoin has the largest audience and most sought after coins. In short, it has proven its trust and reputation in terms of cryptocurrencies. Personally, Bitcoin cannot be replaced by any coins. It would still lead the crypto world.

Bitcoin will always exist in some form and will probably be the most dominate cryptocurrency for a long time, atleast in our lifetime. I can see it lose % dominance compared to ALL cryptocurrency but it should be the number one digital asset in the world I believe.

And that those others were been so good that the almost all the dead side of bitcoin was been develop in their ends. every thing is possible in this world. may be bitocin replace by another cryopto currency. but I think it is very difficult. my personal view is that bitcoin will merge other crypto currencies because the position of bitcoin is too strong.Bitcoin can either be replaced with another altcoin (such as Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash or Litecoin), or it can be replaced by another technology. And don't think that it is too hard to replace Bitcoin. During the past 2-3 years, the market dominance of Bitcoin has come down from 90% to 42%.

It actually does makes sense because we cannot close the door with the (typical) thinking that Bitcoin will always be the king. The reason why there's always an innovation (including the creation of different alternative cryptocurrencies which has evident improvement in their blockchain/network and transaction versus Bitcoin) is for improvement and betterment of the cryptocurrency world. People tend to seek for something better even if what's in here is already great since we are all ambitious that the imperfections of Bitcoin will someday be replaced by something that is better whether it is an improvement or upgrade to BTC, or something new that will defeat the pioneer crypto.
