Since bitcoins drops down and after a few hours it bounces back, this thing proves that bitcoin still the choice of majority and the popularity are going strong even there are certain rumors about its risks in terms of investment. As long it is broadcasted in the media. Millions of people are reaching out its name, this things makes them popular.
It will not "lose" popularity but right now seems to be in a downtrend. The market went too crazy and fomo'd late last year and now everything is crashing. Be patient

I don't think so, i think the decline in the price of Bitcoin has nothing to do with the popularity of Bitcoin, since it first appeared in the world of Bitcoin crypto has a lot of devotees, the more users the more popular. The more popular Bitcoin then the price will skyrocket. However, at the beginning of last year Bitcoin down but it did not dampen interest in investment in this digital currency and it did not reduce the popularity of Bitcoin. Even today Bitcoin users have reached millions of people.

If you take closer look many people are interested in it when it reaches ATH because all they see and want is money and nothing more. We are building the future here and better world where we are not forced to trust the middle man to transact and send money globally. Banks fear this thing which is why you need to know you are on the right path. Don't expect that many people understand and know about crypto within one nigh period. This whole thing needs time and when you look it passed like 10years almost and be sure that within next 5 community will grow even at the more speed.
