Bitcoin increase its popularity and because of its popularity many people have interest with bitcoin some people wan't to bring down or manipulate the bitcoin like other country they wan't to own by their self the bitcoin so definitely popularity is a high risk point of bitcoin to bring it down or make it lost.
if this situation continues to prolonged, then the bitcoin will leave it. but the number of bitcoin fans will be reduced. This situation is very threatening popularity of the already famous bitcoin and many fans.
may lose popularity if many people who want to drop bitcoin and it makes the image of the bitcoin ugly and will lose its popularity.
As we see that bitcoin price is down since last three months but still not reaching to its highest level.

I am new in bitcoin but I think bitcoin doesn't lost its popularity. as those people who are with bitcoin for a long time knew exactly what bitcoin is and how the flow of prices because eventhough bitcoin is in dip now I believe and people who are supportig bitcoin beleive that bitcoin will rise again.
The same thing was being said when bitcoin was going through a multi year bear phase, but bitcoin was quick to shut that down last year. Now since the price is dropping the same talk is being raised again and I'm sure bitcoin will shut that down too this time.
There's no way that BTC is losing its popularity anytime soon. Even the talk from people asking around in the forums if they should be saving BTC for their children or not shows the lack of confidence in crypto. If you're even asking yourself this question and putting it on the forums then it's probably a more balanced yes, but not more than you feel sensibly comfortable with. Common sense goes with all forms of investment, as one should never invest too heavily in any one thing so as to avoid a huge loss. As predictable as we would like to think things are, the life that we are living here on this planet and our day in age is anything but.
