Currently bitcoin still dominates the cryptocurrency market and perhap for a very long time from now. I'm sure everything will end, so bitcoin is not an exception. Someday, definitely bitcoin will loose in a competitive market and it will be replaced by another better coin, but it may be a very long time because bitcoin is still the most powerful currency in the market and is still in great demand by the investors. Thanks # CMIIW

Bitcoin has almost become a financial tool for millions of people and big players. Because of this, its volatility in 2018, most likely, will fall. But do not forget that the course is influenced by other factors - for example, rumors of legalization or prohibition of bitcoin / mining / ICO in different countries. Therefore, the most experienced expert will not be able to predict the change in the rate with 100% certainty.

since it has been created, bitcoin remain dominant until now. The no1 volume in the market is still bitcoin from time to time.
i think it is because bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency in the world. Many peoples bought bitcoin back then and still hold it or trade it in the market with a great volume.

It seems to me that another crypto currency will appear, which will dominate bitcoin.

This is kinda a good question and which would have various opinions from various people. Many people would say including me that Bitcoin would continue to dominate the cryptocurrency scene for many years and it should logically I guess because out of the top cryptocurrencies Bitcoin's market capital is quite high when compared to next 100 Cryptos. Many shitcoins are being made daily as it is not that difficult but they would have zero effect when put up against Bitcoin. The only competition that bitcoin can actually get is the top 5 coins after bitcoin like Ethereum and Bitcoin cash but they still have a long time to even compete to Bitcoin according to me.

Based on the others opinoin, I convince that Bitcoin will stay dominant! one of the reason is that there is now competing Bitcoin. So, it is really sure that Bitcoin will stay dominant. Also, Bitcoin is the first snd very popular now in the Crowd and a lot of users already.

Bitcoin will remain popular and dominant in terms of long-term and short-term investments, as Bitcoin is a clear proof of the development of digital technology of the future in terms of digital currencies, and Bitcoin is the first to present in digital coins. Bitcoin is a clear proof of the development of digital technology in terms of the currency we will use around the world as a means of payment transactions, and also as a substitute for current fiat currencies.

bitcoin is always going to be in the domain of the market if not the alcove do not survive more or less than 40% and the remaining 60% among thousands of alcoin that are the arms of the bitcoin every time they are going to make more scarce and therefore its value will increase every time more so bitcoin survives

Definitely. Bitcoin would still dominate the market maybe 5-6 years from now depending on the circumstances of cryptocurrencies in general. I think bitcoin lacks alot, especially on security, and it has high transaction fees, and a very slow transaction, sooner or later bitcoin will be replaced by another cryptocurrency.

I think When we talk about Bitcoin, we are talking about technology. Not everyone likes and will be able to welcome technology in finance in their lives, because they may not feel safe at all when they use digital money.
Bitcoin is really far away and I still can not say that it is the dominant we are waiting for. In the case of market capitalization, we can say yes it is dominant. The word "dominant" we have to see is how unique Bitcoin is unlike any other crypto we all know. The network has the potential to be dominant among all the other cryptocurrencies that we all know. Now this leads to price, but that does not mean if it is entirely dominant now. It still needs a lot of things to be recognized as dominant one of which is to be adopted on a large scale worldwide.

Definitely. Bitcoin would still dominate the market maybe 5-6 years from now depending on the circumstances of cryptocurrencies in general. But there is always that possibility of altcoins taking the spot at the top if the factors call for such possibility, like an imposition of a world-wide ban on bitcoin specifically or an enhancement in the blockchain technology that beats in bitcoin in every way.

That's really true that's true. There is no death of Bitcoin. Bitcoin survives as long as the world lives. And its price and overall life will be more.

Given that the crypto currency is now constantly and rapidly developing, the dominant crypto currency will be one that will have good functionality, convenience and ease of use.I think maybe someday others will replace it. Ethereum can replace it on market cap dominant because many good project right now using ethereum platform

Do you think Bitcoin will remain the most dominant coin both short and long term? Even though it does not remain the most dominant coin, this will not be the same as saying that Bitcoin won’t exist long term.

Yes Bitcoin will continue dominating the Altcoins because there are lot of reasons like Bitcoin will not need commodities to promote and to be advertise just to attract more people to pour their investments to this coin then the other reason is the crypto enthusiast will always seek for Bitcoin because it is the most promising coin in which it already build a foundation of trust with the people.

yes .............. for short and long term...................the rest will follow
Well that's what I want and for the benefit of the bitcoin community. For the long run I really think that bitcoin will stay as dominant as it were and it will be hard for its competitors to take over of it. Even with its current struggle and situation I know bitcoin has still what it takes to edge over other system and with help of its supporters it will be number 1 always.
I always hope what is best for bitcoin so in this case I think it will stay dominant for a long run. It has the advantage among the others so no wonder that it will remain on top. As long as bitcoin is getting the respect it needs from its users and investors then it will surely help the quest of bitcoin to remain on top. That's all we want so let's help each other to make bitcoin reign for long term.

Even though there are many other coins that are being created I know for sure that bitcoin will remain the best since it is not only used on investment but it can also be used to pay online and it is accepted by many merchants.
