Do you think Bitcoin will remain the most dominant coin both short and long term? Even though it does not remain the most dominant coin, this will not be the same as saying that Bitcoin won’t exist long term.
If you look on the reality I don't think bitcoin will remain its position especially there are many coins out there and there are still in the process of developing. Maybe in the next years ethereum will surpass bitcoin because nowadays as you can see bitcoin performed very bad.

I believe that we can only call a thing dominant if we have a strong foundation for its building. I mean, by maintaining its quality, quantity with efforts of works it will remain dominant as we all first thought.

I'm not sure, because bitcoin has no function other than as an investment coin,
if for a long term investment, I prefer Ethereum rather than bitcoin, because I think Ethereum is well known and very widely used today.

Bitcoin has been made a major price dictator in the cryptocurrency markets; if you need to know how the market is faring you would check on bitcoin mainly. I do believe change is possible and imminent too; so, another coin coming in to outpace the bitcoin is very possible. But as for now, bitcoin dominates and dictates the market trends for most of the cryptocurrency markets.

Bitcoin will remain dominant. Even though the price of bitcoin is dropping but a few week or months it will recover. But although the price is dropping, the ethereum,2nd to bitcoin cannot reach the price of bitcoin even though bitcoin is dropping it takes a year to surpass bitcoin.  Bitcoin will still remain the most dominant coin in long-term and even in short term.  Bitcoin is performing better than the other coin, it's not the question of supremacy it's a battle between the second spot because Bitcoin lead is very dominant among the altcoins. Its too hard to beat the popularity of bitcoin.

Talking about the dominance of bitcoin, it is very clear that bitcoin still holds the most transactions and that as you can see bitcoin still dictates the movements  of other coins. When bitcoin is down the other coins does the same. If it goes up and so are other coins are up as as well. So that it clearly shows how other coins depend on the movement of bitcoin. That is why for me it is still very much dominant even until several years from now.

This is the era of bitcoin and probably it still dominant until today but always expect that everthing is not forever. It's not the question of supremacy it's a battle between the second spot because Bitcoin lead is very dominant among the altcoins but I don't know about the next five years these other coins are performing better and the technology is getting updated every year. I guess this only proves that Bitcoin is still the most in-demand and the most trusted coin. In the future, more coins will definitely flock the market and yet Bitcoin will stay in the first rank.

To be honest, no one is sure what is going to happen down the road and thus the best we can have is the list of predictions. I think that we will see exponential growth in the crypto industry in the next decade and we might see some coins dominating particular sectors but as of now, I don't see any competition for the Bitcoin considering the user base, trade volume, utility value and growth potential of it.

Agree, since it's the first coin, it will be the dominant one. It's like the king of the other coins.  This is the era of bitcoin and probably it still dominant until today but always expect that everthing is not forever....

In my perception, yes! That Bitcoin will still remain the most dominant coin in long term and even in short term. Nowadays bitcoin is experience of massive price dump and even it happen bitcoin is still the most expensive coin. Also, bitcoin fluctuation of price can affect other coin. It is because that the bitcoin is the main currency. I have no doubt that bitcoin will remain as the most dominant coin until the ends. Once bitcoin lost, the possibilty to lose other coin has huge chance. Mostly all of altcoin are dependent on the price movement of bitcoin. That why beating bitcoin of other coin is very impossible in the future even now.

Of course and it will remain even a lot of cryptos are born everyday and even many are trying to steal the spot. It will be here because many big investors are already invested and put their trust to this and they won't let their investment become worthless. So even this trying times, just keep the faith and trust to bitcoin and sooner it will be pay off.

I think yes bitcoin will remain dominant for long term because there's lot of trust has been put on bitcoin while the other are just gaining its trust but still far away from what bitcoin it is today.
