doge is not the future because of
1. price fluctuation is small
2. Total supply is excessive
3. It actually dies at the beginning of the year

last week doge value was increasing about 50%. i do still believe there might be good use for doge soon in a few years. there might be big increasing of value in 2018

Even though it's 5 billion or how much every year of new Dogecoins spawning, the relative increase will decrease every year, so it's not like it will be that highly inflationary forever. Like if you imagine, after one year, the second year's 5 billion will double the existing supply. Then the third year is only going to be a third increase .. 1/4 1/5 etc etc..

Furthermore it's important to remember that the fact that there's always popping out fresh new Dogecoins every year enables that it's always going to be relatively easy for new users to get Doge and to be able to dream a realistic dream of being a dogeillionaire, which again is a big part of what gives Dogecoin the network it's value. It's about being inclusive. It's about being part of something. Community. And also Dogecoin is about making fun of the people who take money and power too seriously to help them understand, that life is finite, and that we should all just love each other, while laughing at the fact that for some reason this ridiculous coin has a fucking market cap of 700 million got damn diggity dollars! How can that be? How the fuck did that happen? Do you think there was a business plan involved in that? I mean, maybe there was, because it makes sense to me how that charismatic looking face of the Doge on the face of the coin hauls in big whales with bags of cash. But I don't think there was a business plan at all. I think it just happened organically. Is it a sign? Is it a hint that we are awaiting the second coming of christ in the embodiment of Doge? Probably not. All I know is that we won't know until the future is upon us. Until then, we must if only one thing remember, that Bitcoin is hilarious, and so is Dogecoin. A hilarious monetary technocratic revolution. Fuck the system guys. And don't invest too much in Doge, or anything else for that matter. Plus the last time I checked, Dogecoin had the same amount of hashing power as Litecoin, that has to count for something.

yes, of course it will have a future. Can't you see how unique it is? Don't ruin it by taking it too seriously.

Not even close to be the next ether, it may be as good as bitcoin when the cap the amount mined, from now it's keep's getting cheaper.

Who knows Dogecoin will be the next ETHER? Or it could be the successor of Bitcoin? Digital currencies are unpredictable because of its volatility by nature. Dogecoin has made its run now and started to show its potential to be an elite cryptocurrency in the future which i think can be a possibility for this digital currency to be the next ETH or BTC.

Doge coin will have very bright future if u check their project  u ll see it, but u need to be patient for this coin I hope this coin will give us very big profit u can invest on it without doubt.

yes indeed now this dogecoin starts to creep up slowly but I believe that it will be a very good step to move forward

I always tell the price of Dogecoin will increase in next year.
Although in trading, we shouldn't talking about the superstitions, but next year is the Dog year in Chinese Lunar New Year.

Yes, doge's price went up unexpectedly (who would know, right?). But you don't have to feel sorry for me for I have used that amount to buy another coin and fortunately, that coin went up too. Though it did not went up as much as 69%, I am good at how it is going now with only 50%. The good thing in my coin now, is that I have more faith on it.

it could happen because we no one knows how the fate of every coin there is even bitcoin no one understands what it will be like,
and if dogecoin becomes a value of $ 1 then that save dogecoin will be very happy because of course get rich suddenly

i would like to see it capped maybe at 200 billion coins but so far it isn't happening, they want to keep it inflationary. if it will b capped it should explode in a good way

Is it true that only the main developer can code for the coin and improve it? I'm sure at some point in the future, applications will be built on top of it.

i bought through shapeshift, the only options at the time. yes i used bitcoins but only for the purpose of buying doges. of course i should have bought bitcoin too ahaha i think it was 200 euros or even less per btc

In these days, Dogecoin have a good rising. It looks like promising, but there is nothing obvious in cryptocurrency world.

So I assume you haven't bought doge with usd but with bitcoin? Because bitcoin was like 300 dollars back then instead of 15000+

so 1.200.000 would have been less than 200 us dollars

today it went to 0.007 and a bit more at some point
