I do not think so. Because Ethereum is a very popular currency, it no longer depends on the CEO, like bitcoin! Nobody knows who Satoshi is, but the value of Bitcoin continues to grow throughout the world, because there is power here. But if vitalik dies, then the development of Ethereum may stop or the price will not be the same, but its value will remain one of the 10 best crypt coins.

If this happens the price of ETH will drop dramatically. But the whole ETH network is not only held on Vitalik Buterin. There are other team members who will continue to develop the project. And the price will return to the previous level and will continue to grow. No, not replaceable people. Just as after the death of Steve Jobs, Apple continued its journey, and remained one of the most expensive companies in the world.

There may be someone who will inherit the ownership of ethereum or maybe ethereum is owned by not just one but a multiple individual. Corporate project is good than a sole owned one, due to the deals that will be done in every transactions and maybe that is what ethereum made of.

In a short time yes I think it would affect but in long term not that much because They are a team and it's not just one person , when Steve Jobs died it affected on Apple stock but after a while it becomes the most precious company in the world in 2016 .

Ethereum as it is still an open protocol cryptocurrency, I think if by any reason Vitalik could not go on with ethereum, other developers can continue where he stopped and the growth and development of ethereum can continue!

I don't think so because there are a group of people behind Ethereum to move the blockchain to further level, besides there is a group of people in Ethereum Alliance where they will develop the Ethereum blockchain to further level developments by adding new features to it.

I don't think so because any good leader who is spearing any project makes sure that he puts in place someone who can step into his shoes whiles he is gone and i believe that Vitalik has someone among his team who can also lead the Ethereum project to great success when he is no more.
Long live Vitalik because i want to see the Ethereum project fully developed to the max!

We are in a decentralized technology which has nothing to do with the founder life or any other thing but people are just nothing and used to fud, which will only react to the market at that particular point in time and surely the market will stabilize again and every thing will normalise . His death will not crash eth just as Satoshi where about does have any thing to do with btc price.

No project is bigger than any one person, did Apple collapse when Steve Jobs died?
