I am not sure that the state of the cryptocurrency depends on the state of its Creator. It seems to me that if the boy dies then only temporarily there will be some negative changes, and then everything will be cool

I don't think that ETH will die out, but there can be a few major issues. Vitalik is a unifying figure and without him there can be a lot of infighting which will result in a great number of forks. And gradually this can kill the coin.

I believe that if Vitalik's identity wouldn't have been public, it would've been better for the Ethereum project in many ways. By remaining anonymous, the project's growth could be ensured without any disruption in the future, as people wouldn't keep their eyes on the founder to determine the value of the project, etc. However, since Vitalik has chosen to disclose his identity to the public, it'll cause more harm than good for the Ethereum project at least in the time being. If Vitalik dies, the project might go on as intended, but its value will decline massively for quite some time.

However, in the bright side, Ethereum will remain as active as Bitcoin in the long term due to the large number of developers working on it. Perhaps, the Foundation will place someone in charge of the project itself. Despite this, the beauty of Ethereum is that if no one can take Vitalik's place in the future, it'll remain solid as a cryptocurrency and smart contract platform for many years because of its decentralized model. And that's what matters most. Just my thoughts Grin

There should be a team behind ethereum.... Vitalik is just the face and founder of ethereum, his death will definitely affect ethereum but It won't fail. The team will continue from there.

This opinion is right. Vitalik Buterin is founded Ethereum, understanding about ETH technology, innovation. But one thing he can't control about ETH is the price. And the price is the most important thing to evaluate that ETH is the success or fail.

I think the Ethereum cryptocurrency is quite steep which abruptly regulated. It seems to me that now it is not necessary to build some theory because such events in the crypto-currency world have not yet been

Etherium is a good kind of crypto coins and its compose of great team to make the company team growth and profitable ,so therefore even theres happen in the CEO of the ethereum,i thinks erhereum project still survive and going forward because the platforms is still there existing and they are always creating a new idea on how the project is still alive and kicking towards its goal.

Ethereum team is supported by a hard working group of liked minded individuals. Vitalik is just one of them and so I do not see why a project like that should die when just a member leaves it.
