Not this time, i guess, because cryptocurrency is not yet ready to replace fiat as the means of payment for buying products or as or any services online. I believe it also takes time to even let the whole world embrace the blockchain technology.

Yes, our future is cashless. But it will take a lot of time. Firstly it will be provided in well-developed countries and then slowly in poor countries. I think we will see this changes.

Currently, some people use only cash, so the full transition to the use of non-cash money will not happen in the near future.

Yes, I hope, that people will stop using cash and will come into the crypto currencies industry. It is only a matter of time, when people will be using crypto for daily payments. We need just more working products to attrack new investors and new audience.

To argue about what will happen in 30, 40 years is madness, since anything can happen, especially if we are talking about crypto-currencies. But still, I believe that we will increasingly use cryptocurrency as a means of payment, this will occur gradually.

I'm trying to imagine how this going to happen considering the fact that so many people aren't being technology inclined. Using physical cash requires no knowledge as compared to crypto that required a basic knowledge in tech and other related fields. Eg. How an old lady in my community will be able to use metamask or ImTokens to make transaction lol Smiley . I believe it's going to take a lot of years for this revolution with so much invested in crypto education

I think there is a possibility that it might happen in the future, but Im not sure if it is near since there are still a lot of countries that are not that high in technology. Since if you have to rely on crypto and cards for payment, it will also mean that everything has connection to internet and have some gadget to work with the transaction.

Cash will die only when it will be possible to pay with digital money absolutely everywhere, that is, not soon, maybe in 50 years it will be possible to talk about it slowly, but not before.

yeah, but it going to happen. lets take Swiss as example. they are totally removing cash payments already. other countries will follow.

In some countries, cashless society has basically been realized, but it may take 3-5 years for it to be popularized around the world, and some countries I think there is no way to achieve it. This has a premise that is their foundation network needs to be perfect, but in many backward countries, even the network has not yet become popular.

When you talk about humanity, you equally talk about those living in undeveloped world, that technology may not get to some places even in Million years to come and in such places paying with cash is easier and better understood. It would be a lovely thing to totally get rid of cash but its possibility is something that is not fathomable

This is a trend, but it will take some time to achieve, and it is now uncertain which currency will become the mainstream payment currency in the future

I have a vivid discussion with my friends lately. They say that one day people will forget what cash is and they will start use card only. Then the era of the changed and innovated cryptocurrency world comes, and we will stop using money and switch on crypto coins only. They say it might take twenty or thirty years, maybe longer, but it is a sure thing to happen, they have no doubts about it. I am not so sure... well, people might give up using cash as it is not that convenient, but giving up money as whole? I really really doubt it, it seems so impossible for me. What do you think? Maybe we will start using something brand new, neither cash nor cards? What is the future of the cryptocurrency world, anyway? Will it die in fifty, sixty years or it is going to be a thing that will live forever? Let's dream for a while Smiley
It's more likely that money will disappear than people will stop using cash. Cash, collectible coins, gold bars. Sure to be something to this, until the money has relevance. But I hope that we will evolve as Jacques fresco wanted and that we will not need to exchange money. We will live like in Paradise, building our Paradise on this planet.

Why not ? I am very sure this can happen. for me, I believe that technology has existed and applied before. For example, I believe that before cash is available, most people in the world make purchases and sales in other ways. but now, people are used to using cash. and when cash is available. there are innovations with t-cash, virtual money, and all the cards you use to shop.
it's just a matter of improvisation and adaptation. and counseling that must be done diligently.

Not agree that cash using will stop in the world but it's use can be reduced through crypto and digital money like credit cards and debit cards and all humanity can not afford crypto currencies and for now it should be easy to understand that we have cash we can go every where and buy things every where.

Nope! humanity is never going to stop using cash, cash has its own special feeeling it gives and that makes humans emotion connected to it.
In the future its possible maybe 100 years from now.

Today, its impossible that humanity will stop using cash. There are still people who aren't oriented with technology and isn't aware of cashless society.

It is not impossible but at least in a hundred years from now, maybe. Not all countries are much developed as compared to those giant countries like  China. But I say I support this change.
It is possible but it will take long time. Today in many countries people have started using digital currency and China is on top of them. Gradually the whole world will start using crypto currency and there would be no cash circulating in the markets. As we use credit and debit cards everywhere and there is no cash in our pockets, in the future digital currency will take place of these cards.
