Someday, this will definitely happen, but the question is when, today it is not worth it and it will be possible to answer the question, of course, yes, because already today we switch to electronic money and very soon we will pass to crypto-currencies.

Mankind already on the way of the termination of use of cash. The first step was taken already long ago when there was a transition to plastic cards. Now I expect transition to payment in cryptocurrency.

I have a vivid discussion with my friends lately. They say that one day people will forget what cash is and they will start use card only. Then the era of the changed and innovated cryptocurrency world comes, and we will stop using money and switch on crypto coins only. They say it might take twenty or thirty years, maybe longer, but it is a sure thing to happen, they have no doubts about it. I am not so sure... well, people might give up using cash as it is not that convenient, but giving up money as whole? I really really doubt it, it seems so impossible for me. What do you think? Maybe we will start using something brand new, neither cash nor cards? What is the future of the cryptocurrency world, anyway? Will it die in fifty, sixty years or it is going to be a thing that will live forever? Let's dream for a while Smiley

I think that this is quite possible in the future paper money will simply be removed. Using cryptocurrencies is much more convenient, the only problem is security. Cryptocurrencies can be easily stolen

Yes, there is possibilities towards it. But it will takes a long way, there are many requirement for that possibilities to happen.
We need to educate everyone to be able to understand about that digital currency, and it also need a lot of infrastructure that could support the usage of that digital currency.

I believe that the crypto-currency world will develop, and once even the government will accept this and in many developed countries it will be an ordinary means of payment.Personally, I believe in it wholeheartedly. But I do not think that we will completely forget about the Fiat funds.Yes,we already use them much less, but I think it will not be so easy to replace them completely. And the principle I believe this is not necessary.

Yes, this is very good, environmental protection saves resources. But this may take a long process, especially in some backward countries in Africa.

The time is coming when cash will no longer be useful as the world is advancing so much technologically there will be a lot of things that will be going out and cash will be one of them. Most of the things will be done online by then that no one would want to carry cash around. Cryptocurrencies would be a faster and more effective way to making payments and carrying out transactions

The name money is a symbol that in humans we qualify and characterize and in my opinion the paper or plastic can be replaced by chips, metalic cards or even digital transactions with cryptocurrency. Now regarding the time of cryptocurrency, I do not believe it has an end because the Billions of dollars that are in the current market will not disappear from nowhere without the consent of all. In technical terms the use of cryptocurrency is approved by many and soon we can find its mass use in everyday life in real life.

Yes, there will be a cashless society in the future, but unfortunately they are still using centralized services, for example in china they use Alipay to pay things without the need of carrying cash, same goes in korea they use line so I don't think that decentralized ones will take over the cashless society.
Correct, centralized service is one to have a priority in our government of course and that's impossible to happen that to become cashless by using crypto if it is still decentralized in society. It will never happen that traditional money will replace digital money like crypto. However, probably digital currency is another existence currency or the alternate currency of paper money.
Even using cards there are still having an offline transaction that you must use cash, and cashless is impossible to happen.

Yes i think 10 years from now, cash money will disappear and everything will be paid by digital money.
That's why we are here, cryptocurrency is the one of the strongest candidate for future digital money

I dont think that cash will disappear in near future. Because cash has its specific convenient. If you want to buy somethings that price are just a few cents in the market, it's weird when you use credit cards, even cryptocurrency credit cards. Payment cards will be more popular in the future but I think people will not abuse it.

There are a lot of advance countries that has been experimenting a cashless society. The World’s First Cashless Society Is Here – A Totalitarian’s Dream Come True. So we are getting closer than you think. However, I don't see fiat getting instinct, some 3rd world countries still rely on the old traditional banking system. As for the future of crypto, its really looks good and it will continue to grow but, I'm not sure if it will make banking systems obsolete.

They lack of the development, remember it looks impossible to replace fiat money consider it's backed by the regulators and we known the regulators have so many abilities to do anything to create any restriction or even more.
Even the major country just like USA will still use the traditional system in the future. They are still needed the fiat as the direct payment system.

I think it will not happen that humanity does not use cash. If you do not use cash, how much will people spend in their daily lives? I think even if life develops, applying technology 4.0, still need cash in daily life.
