i think icos should be over, caused by more icos scammed crypto investors on 2018 and its too late to product new adventaged coins. most of early adopted developers also works to fix their systems and it has not any meaning to create new ones. its only looking easy money from crypto sea.
I'm reading the whitepaper of the campaign I joined. It's better to know what's the project is about because it depends on that if it's attractable to investors. We can read in whitepaper all the information we need and must knoW, It's not easy to promote something you didn't know unless you're just creating some false facts.

I do not think ICO will die, but the rules will change soon, it's for sure. Scam takes a large percentage, and someone has to stop it. But this should not lead to death, it seems to me it will give a new impetus to development
I think that ICOs won't die in 2018 as well as in 2019 and further... Only if some regulatory laws will be applied to crypto, only in that case I'd believe that ICOs will come to an end.
ETH and Bitcoin have increased in value dramatically since Jan 2017. If this keeps on going then ICOs will continue. The only thing I can see disrupting this tight regulations worldwide which I do not see happening anytime soon.

ICO will not die by 2018. Lots of new ICO's are emerging and I'm sure ICO can still survive in the next few years even until the future.
If you look at the numbers, actually more people invested more money in ICOs then last year. But people were largely no happy with their results, the majority of ICOs this year traded below ICO price once they hit exchanges. There were only few exceptions as Quarkchain but it was very hard to get in during the ICO and that created sn artificial demand. Most other projects tanked without giving the eary investor the chance to take profit.
For five months of 2018, the projects have collected investments for more than 2017. Tokens are traded on exchanges below the price of ICO, because the market is red.
The market is starting to recover and I believe that no ! ICO will live a very long time as it helps people to earn and developers to implement good ideas !
