The ICOs are going to stand for sure. The question that stands is in what kind they will be and are they going to be ICOs (initial coin offering) or something else for the future. The truth is, that there are a lot of pools of investors already, who invests in ICOs for good % and because of that, ICOs will continue as long as there are good ideas and projects.
Since so many ICOs seem to be getting done privately by big institutions investors where the public needs to have connections to get in to a large minimum investment (Eg. 100 ETH+)...

No body will knows in 2 years ICO still exist or not but we can just make prediction of that. I think it will still exist because many people want to make invesment in crypto and that is some change for developers to create an ICO.

I really don't think ICOs will vanish even there will be regulations in many countries. ICOs are one of the best ways to distribute the coins into the public to start the circulation and bounty hunters are promoting and advertising their ICOs and projects as well.
Altcoins and projects are now on their way to the moon because of the past ICOs and ICOs should be exist in the future even when regulations are everywhere.

To me icos is going to still remains strong and many companies are going to take advantage of blockchain technology to rise money from crypto currencies markets. Icos markets has a great potential and what promote crypto currencies into mainstream is the way people believe in icos project and many are putting their fund into it. I think now and in years to come many big companies will take the advantages of crypto currencies in putting big fund into icos project and also taking advantage of it to raise funds for their projects. Do you think Public Pre-Sales (e.g. minimum 100 ETH) or Pre-Sale Pools will even exist in 2 years?
I am hoping that ICO's will remain for a long time. Because this ICO's are helping many people here in our place. People who don't have capital to use in trading and investing. Use their time in joining ICO's.
An ICOs with a reputable companies could do exist for more than 2 years, think about Ethereum where it was having an ICO sale during their initial development stage some 3 to 4 years ago and look at their now, ETH was among the very successful ICOs in history of cryptocurrency. So as long as there are some legit crytpocurrencies ICOs wil exist for more than 2 years.

This is good question and I am sure that it wont exist after one year time also. The thing has got messed up by the private investors on large scale and big companies know that they are enjoying the benefits of private investors as they invest more than enough into the ICO sale. In such case they dont need small investors like us. I mean why would they waste the time on small investors like us and why to waste the advertising funds on us. That is what they will think in the future for sure. The investment will be very strict one.
I mean if you could manage to get 5000 USD or more then good luck.
As long the project solves a real problem in the society, new ventures can successfully raise funds through ICOs even after two years.
Yes mate, as long as there are legit icos and many buyers of good ico. Ico will not die. But the disadvantages of fake and scams icos are not good to cryptocurrencies.
Even kickstarter still exists despite the amount of scammers and fake project they have went through. Maybe ICO will do the same or if not close to what kickstarter have through. Hopefully it'll still hold very long, if you can see right now ICO holders are coming from so many countries around the world competing to offer their best idea and realizing it.Howver, my analyzation above can't be guaranteed, whether ICO will still be exist or not, more likely depending on how cryptocurrencies still alive.

It's hard to say how everything will be in the future, before we did not know about such a phenomenon as ICO and now we are making money by advertising campaigns. I have an assumption that ico can disappear just like they appeared suddenly, but while there is such an opportunity, you need to earn money and earn!

The cat is out of the bag. I think both private token sales and public ICOs will continue to proliferate. There are, of course, huge opportunities for VCs to push for private equity. No different than IPOs. So we'll continue to see two distinct classes of coin offerings -- 1) top tier private offerings for accredited investors and 2) public ICOs for everyone else.
We're seeing diminishing returns from the current wave of ICOs, and that's why a lot of people think they won't last. But the reality is this: even if ICOs were mostly cash grabs based on vaporware, they are a fundamentally groundbreaking fundraising mechanism. They remove major investment barriers for people across classes. Working class folks and people in developing countries have never had this sort of access to liquid investments. So they aren't going anywhere.
I think the first wave of ICOs were mostly comparable to altcoins in 2013 -- the Devcoins, the Chinacoins, the Feathercoins. The next wave of hype and investment will blow a lot of peoples' minds.
this is very good point you bring out sir. in developing countries, access to capital for businesses is a huge challenge. i think ICOs are even suited better for those markets. if proper mechanisms are put in place to protect investors and reduce scams, then ICO model is just begging and i think we will see interesting projects come out it.
ICO is very important and more and more is trying to pollute. Being a new trend in the cryptocurrency market, more and more projects will launch ICO in this period.

Cryptocurrency has no limitations and ICO is good source of funds though crowdfunding as long as the projects has good products or has impact to the people there is no doubt that will boom. ICOs will still exist in 2 years if there is no regulations that will force them to stop making or producing ICOs. This is a open competitions to all developer whose ideas or dreams is in need of funding.
In my opinion, ICOs will not only last for two years but even more than that as with every passing day, more number of people get convinced for this thing that investing in ICOs is one of the good thing to do and that doing this will help them in having some good amount of money later on. Anything related to that of crypto currency has actually a very bright future and that will remain there in this world. 
I think there is new technique for capitalization in the future but for me ICO is still there and many companies are still conducting it after 2 years but it could be harder than now because of the regulations made by the government and i think they will be taxed in the future.
There will be a large number of Scam projects due to which it is difficult to find a good project with time.
