ICO's are doing well in the past years and up to date so I think ICO will still exist as long as people are making new projects that will seek the interest of a public investors. Cryptocurrency are just started to boom, and I hope it will continue for more years.

Some of the ICO have performed well and given good return to those investors which had invested in it. But many are such a bad ICO that are just junk or should be dumped and those types of ICO where people do invest lose their money and their faith also goes away with such ICO.

Public ICOs are probably going to be inhibited even more with so many regulations coming from the countries where these developers operate. It will be difficult for public ICOs to continue on the same intensity. Pre sale private ICOs are probably going to be a must in most places, as a minimum investment will be necessary, names and personal informations will be necessary, everything made with government's permission. Many people may think it will be safer, but it will just put the little fishes out of the game.

Yes they will, but they will be more regulated, hopefully. That means no more selling of tokens straight from an ICO's website or from a forum thread, no more public crowdsales without collecting KYC/AML, and no more sales to people who are in a lower income bracket.

Airdrops and other forms of loading the pot to attract more people might also not be allowed.

Pretty much, but there will probably be more unsuccessful ones than today. ICOs are like companies, new come every day but you have a number of giants dominating the most so there will surely be ICOs for longer than 2 years.

Also, even existing companies can launch their coins and probably will in the near future.

Since so many ICOs seem to be getting done privately by big institutions investors where the public needs to have connections to get in to a large minimum investment (Eg. 100 ETH+)...

Do you think Public Pre-Sales (e.g. minimum 100 ETH) or Pre-Sale Pools will even exist in 2 years?

The cat is out of the bag. I think both private token sales and public ICOs will continue to proliferate. There are, of course, huge opportunities for VCs to push for private equity. No different than IPOs. So we'll continue to see two distinct classes of coin offerings -- 1) top tier private offerings for accredited investors and 2) public ICOs for everyone else.

We're seeing diminishing returns from the current wave of ICOs, and that's why a lot of people think they won't last. But the reality is this: even if ICOs were mostly cash grabs based on vaporware, they are a fundamentally groundbreaking fundraising mechanism. They remove major investment barriers for people across classes. Working class folks and people in developing countries have never had this sort of access to liquid investments. So they aren't going anywhere.

I think the first wave of ICOs were mostly comparable to altcoins in 2013 -- the Devcoins, the Chinacoins, the Feathercoins. The next wave of hype and investment will blow a lot of peoples' minds.

This is very normal for well-planned and well-planned projects. ICO investment is a new trend in the cryptocurrency market, so there are a lot of ICO projects being launched during this time. Choosing a good and sustainable ICO project is not easy, so learn about the project you want to participate in before you decide to make a long-term investment project.

Well I think it will be existing for the next two years since at this moments altcoins are indemand which made most of the market value of the alts to continuously increase. Projects that are released onthe ICOs are mostly useful because we are on the technological age and ICOs are more likely to be benefitial especially ICOs with platforms.
But the only thing matters here is that it would lessen along the way yet even on the recent situation on ICO market today we do see redundant projects do keep on popping out and having their own crowdfunding. Investing behaviors into previous years would be completely different I assume on next 2 years to come, there might be still some potential projects but popularity would really be more lesser compared nowadays. We might be on the middle stage of adoption.

No one knows if it would exist or not on next 2 years but I do still believe that as long crypto market is still booming up possibilities on those kind of large pool investment would be always there since we do know that lots of investors who are capable on investing such amounts because investment on crypto do really generate good profits for some time and this trend would continue even more since technology and innovations do really step-up.
