no matter how good the XRP is, I don't think its potential will exceed Bitcoin. well, for now, we know that bitcoin is the king of crypto. maybe the XRP can beat the position of other coins, because there are so many advantages that the coin has, but, I think it is very difficult to achieve XRP.

if im not mistaken , xrp/ripple did already de throned eth a couple times before . we cannot deny the fact ripple do really have a potential to be the number one coin or to be the number one altcoin rather . yes only altcoin because so far bitcoin is still the superior coin of all cryptos .

i guess not . there are more cheaper coins than xrp . few examples would be dogecoin . like xrp , dogecoin is also popular and its acceptable on most sites and services .

Well, I don't believe that Ripple will be number one currency, at least not this year. However, it is going to grow and is expected to hit the $20 mark towards the end of 2019

I myself don't believe that it can go beyond bitcoin. even though there is a lot of good news, I think it will also affect other assets, because good news does not come to just the community, there is a lot of good news that might be related to the global market, it will trigger an overall market increase.

A better technology is not enough in the market of cryptocurrencies, ethereum and ripple have such a huge advantage that any coin that wants to compete with them regardless of its technology is going to have great problems doing it since they will be fighting against numerous interests that will not want to lose the money they invested in those two coins and will do everything to destroy this new coin.

It seems to me that taking the first place on the cryptocurrency market even for ethereum will be very difficult, and I’m not even talking about the ripple. To the point is that the level of Bitcoin is quite high both in terms of capitalization and price.

Agree, ripple will have battles to scramble for position with eth, instead of bitcoin because this seems to be more realistic when in recent times, ripple is very active in developing and receiving a lot of support while eth is slowly going down, and every market condition is almost supporting ripple beating eth, and of course, this replacement is reasonable when ripple has enough power and deserves that position. For the position of Bitcoin, ripple is still hard to replace, people remain loyal to bitcoin, the strength and the link between the bitcoin and the market is too great, altcoin can not beat it
