Another currency won't outdated bitcoin even they are so many currency that will born in this year because the main currency that will make them grow still bitcoin and I think it will be more bigger than before just like what he did last year. As I noticed in other new currency that are launching they are always based their value on the bitcoins value even they have their own price of their currency.

I think there's a possibility that a coin will arise someday and will take over bitcoin's spot on the top but I don't think that is so close from happening right now considering the price difference of bitcoin among other coins existing right now, it's so far. I think it would be very hard for any other coin to surpass the achievements of bitcoin. Bitcoin has been through a lot and I believe that it would remain on top no matter what time might bring us. Bitcoin is strong and resilient that for nine long years, even in the midst of all the atl coins pooping out every single day, it remains the number one, the king of crypto currency. What I can say is that, if posibility is the one that we are going to talk about, then yes, I can say that there is a possibility of an alt coin taking over Bitcoin, but what I can say to this is not anytime soon, at least not yet. If there is one that can possible do it, it will be Ethereum, I can see the great potential of this coin, in time it be be as great as Bitcoin.
I've already read many opinions about bitcoin being outdated if you compare to the innovative features of the newly created cryptocurrencies. A year ago, some bitcoin critics also predict that the top coin will soon replace by another coin with better technology because it is already outdated. But many coins are still struggling to capture the large share of the crypto market where bitcoin still holding the majority shares of the market.

There is a possibility that one of the coin in the future can actually surpass the price of bitcoins and i believe that ethereum has a good potential in the market because there are a lot of people who are interested on investing in it.
Normally the sensitive period of a new technology to survive is its starting days and Bitcoin faced a great deal of criticism and hurdles but somehow was able to escape the trap due to its great technology and so many befits and perks.
Right now, majority of the portion of the market is captured by Bitcoin and this coin is still improving and growing so as long as there is growth and technological advancement, Bitcoin will not be outdated and outshined. ETH is considered to have much better technology but even still we have the highest demand for Bitcoin and highest inflow of money into Bitcoin for it is an asset having high liquidity and high profitability and has a high demand.

In my opinion, a currency lasts longer and does not fade away as long as the demand for the currency is high. With the passage of time, other coins having good projects on their back will also surface but they might not be able to outshine Bitcoin because it has already captured a big portion of the market around the world and even ETH, which is thought to have advanced technology than Bitcoin, has not yet reached that level, I do not think any other currency will in future. With the passage of time, we would be having technological advancement in Bitcoin as well.

Maybe in the future, a coin maybe that is an abundance base instead of a market base because we we talk about Market base no one will surpass Bitcoin in the market, because it has a highest value for 9 years now.
I was surprised because when I opened CoinMarketCap there were more than 1800 coins and tokens registered, the number will continue to increase because every day there are always coins and new tokens added, this is a threat to bitcoin because it will make bitcoin will be outdated.
