Well i chose to use bitcoin wallets for a reason; its a really good way to make online payments and transactions without having to consult your bank to have a credit card and register on Paypal. To have the government start lurking in my wallet would really be a violation of my privacy; i wouldn't see why they should have any concern on my personal wallet.

I think they will need a warrant for this, and why would they look into my wallet? Maybe they will get a warrant from some court in case they trace some stolen money, and that money leads to my wallet.
I think there is no reason for fear if don`t do illegal things, I`m relaxed about this thing, and if they wish to look in my wallet I would let them. My money is coming from campaigns, faucets, and casinos. I don`t have nothing to hide. And I believe many people also have nothing to hide, so if this thing can help bitcoin community, and this will effect on price stability I don`t see reason to fight against it.

Taxation or regulatory laws most likely won't hit normal users, it is not possible to control every bitcoin wallet or people using BTC at this point.  Governments knows that too.
This why we will likely see new rules and laws created to regulate every bitcoin accepting satellite services and not people's wallets. (Online wallets of course can and are already regulated)

All I know is that I know nothing.
In the coming days when the government will legalize bitcoin and puts up regulatory rules and policies on the use of bitcoins it is a prerogative of the government to monitor the bitcoin transactions as well as your bitcoin wallet. For how many years bitcoin has been operating outside the hands of the government and many illegal operations especially in the black market is taking place without being traced. This coming events may be helpful to the stability of bitcoins in its operation and security.

that is a tough thing to answer, because if the government wants to look into my bitcoin wallet there will be so few things that i can do to prevent it and they can force me to show it to them and give a detailed information about all my ownings.

Even though I am seem reluctant but I will agree. I have no other choice but to agree since it will happen soon and it will be compulsory. Phillipine central bank has been notified by the President to create a division to monitor and regulate the virtual currency including bitcoin. I cannot escape from this but it will be an advantage to us which means goodbye to hackers and scammer.

Bitcoin is here to give me financial freedom hence the governement does not have any jurisdiction over my coins.
Bitcoin are issued by us, we mine them, we produce them.

I will not give up on my privacy
I agree with you but it's already happen to many country now. Also the Philippines local wallet need to verify your identity first before you can cashout huge amount of money using there wallet and you give them permission to deactive your account if they found it malicious or from gambling.
maybe they just require this complicated thing in order to avoid any fraudulent activities or any suspicious activities and about the deactivating account because of gambling, probably your country restrict from any form of gambling activities so your local wallet/exchanger obey the rules and can't do anything

I don't think that the regulation mean monitoring the wallet of everyone. It is impossible to be made even can be chose to be made. The fiat money is not monitored in this way. No one monitor my actual wallet and only me know ho many have there. Then to many countries have regulated bitcoin and no one has chosen to monitor the wallet of the people within these countries.
The money that I do own in my wallet is the money of my fortune. I would not even my family to interfere in it then who
the hell is the government because it leads to the privacy of the people. If a government looks in the wallet and finds
a lot money and may take actions and claim it black money for their not for their nations because the world is very selfish
at the moment we can't trust anyone for anything.

No I don't want the government to go around checking my wallet and what I have been doing with my private Bitcoins. Bitcoin preaches anonymity and security of people's money so allowing the government to have a peek inside just doesn't make sense to me. I know that legalizing Bitcoin will shift the system from decentralization to centralization and then the government will have full control over the Bitcoin community in that country because people will need to disclose their earnings for tax purposes every year when filing the annual tax reports forms.

If government want to look my account, I will appreciate it. Because government will never do any scams with us. Government is trusted. Also they can freely look into my account any time they want because it is empty. Grin
So I am not going to give any restrictions, its free and you are welcome at any time.  Wink

No, i dont think that government should be allowed to look on our accounts. As when they look at our accounts, they will try to impose unnecessary taxes and things like that. We are investing in bitcoins as we dont want the Government to be the controller of our money.

I will never allow the government to know what my wallets are. And there is no need to as there are easy steps to cash out coins without governments or banks noticing anything. Just mix your coins and sell them face to face to someone, and no government or bank knows that you have cashed out your coins.
I also will not allow the government or anyone else to see my wallet. if I did not let them see of course they will not know
my bitcoin address and I think we could still use the bank. they will not know if we convert bitcoin to fiat with use exchange site

they'd have to prove first that i own bitcoin and if they did. they would have to prove then which is my wallet. and if they did proved its my wallet then it is. they can check it after all its transparent they need not to open a wallet, infact everyone can check someone else wallet.
I think they (government) will not be able to verify or prove that you are a user of bitcoin? they will not know
that you have or have bitcoin wallet. so when they do not know why should we allow them to see our wallet ?

there are a lot of ways to know and there are a lot of ways to prevent them from knowing, so it depends on what you are doing. for example when you buy bitcoin with your money (credit card, bank transfer,...) you are linking your bitcoin wallet to yourself or when you are conducting some business online you can be verified and found.

If the government know all your transaction and  legalized bitcoin bitcoin  now is not anonymous. But this already happen in other country .in the near  future bitcoin transaction need to pay tax to government which is not good but we don't have a choice if it really happen.

I think it will not happen, however satoshi create that decentralized bitcoin. In other words, although the government would legalize bitcoin, I think the government has no hack to monitor our treasure: D Thank you

This is not a will we let them look, as more of a they will look if they want to.  You do not think they are already looking?  How do you think they find all these black market sites and shut them down?  Everyone thinks that Bitcoin is untraceable and they are wrong.  There is always a digital footprint out there and they have the people to track it.  Think about it.  If you are a hacker and you can easily break into someones account by hacking their private key, how much easier would it be to easily just watch and track it.
