What do you mean by gamble alone, like you mean she goes to the gaming house alone? Well if that is what you mean I don't think there is a problem in that aspect, even men do gamble by themselves alone going to the gambling house. It shows confidence or being able to understand what you are doing without help from other people. In the case of the woman, she doesn't look like a learner but someone who is experienced in the game and moreover those who gamble in visual are experienced gamblers and high risk takers. You can't be a visual player without being able to understand risk taking. She is a gambler, that is what it is.

The old lady was really into online games, but you could tell she was getting super annoyed after playing for a long time like she was having a rough streak with bad luck, maybe losing a bunch of money.

Gambling isn't bad actually and people gamble for some reasons. We don't need to judge someone unless we know it was for the sake of making money and thinking gambling would be a good source of income, I certainly disagree with that. It is just our choice and a responsible person knows what is best for them and what is not.

If that person gambles for pleasure, I don't need to worry but if that old mother gambles wanting to make more money in order to feed his family- that is another story. She should divert his mind and find other ways to earn money, not in gambling with only a very small chance of winning.

The mother who do gamble is not the activity after the have kid, it will be the one before he get married.And how the kid will get worry by seeing his elder mother to do gambling.Not possible one until she start to loss the money for the family expenses.This will reduce the food for their fanily per day,So he will do the reduce of cooking food for the family by no time available one to cook.Sometimes she doesn't have money to pay the school fee for their children and no money for the family expenses.Sometimes she won't pay the rent and get some arguments with their house owners.This also lead to shifting of house by the way of argument with the house owner of not paying rent.

Really that normal that we would really be having those kind of concern since they are our family and we dont really like that there would really be bad things that would happen to them and this is something

Parenting comes with a lot of responsibilities and most of the responsibilities relies on the financially strength for them to be solved and if a mother can engage in gambling, it's very likely to drain her financially thereby leaving her financially incapacitated to solve some of the problems of the family. If for any reason I happen to my elderly mother gambling, I'll be extremely worried and would do everything within my strength to make sure she stops gambling and anything that's related to it. I won't be doing that to stand my authority as her son but because I don't want her to go bankrupt in the future because of gambling.

On other angle I will even link my gambling habit to her, and if at her age she still finds herself gambling, there will be no doubt it might be be from the lineage. I strongly believe that seeing myself in a casino will make people think less of me, it makes people look at you like someone who is useless, not to talk of you passing by and seeing your mother in a casino, you will feel like a train ran pass through you.

Till today I don't like going to any casino with my legs, I will rather find a online casino and shoot my shot, but honestly, this woman must be in a very bad position to expose herself coming to the casino like this, she is older, meaning she understood what people are saying about gamblers, and I am sure that some people will already be gossiping about her involvement in gambling.

First I think Op would have tried to clone the woman's picture more for the sake of her privacy protection. Hence, I won't be surprised if someone in same jurisdiction you are comes to identify the woman from the picture.

Having given that little observation, mothers who gamble didn't start that at old age, they started as either spinster learning from their brothers or boyfriends. Then another level is when they are married to a gambling husband, they learn from him and most times such habit is difficult to drop when the woman is no more especially when you have been having some winning.

So, I'm not surprised to see a mother in a gambling house because I know she didn't just wake up to start playing it even though it is awkward to see women gambling in my jurisdiction because gambling is a male dominated activities.

I think it will be the same with different cultures mate, I've seen elderly in a land based casino playing, so it doesn't matter if you are from Africa to Asia, the effect of gambling to everyone is real. But I guess you can't blame them, same as you, regardless of age, you want to win some money and you take that risk, so you lose some you win some.

Regarding the question if we will be comfortable with our mother or even older sister playing, of course not, but how can you stop them? They might just be having fun and to be entertain. Maybe there will be issues if they were going to ask you some money to gamble, but for me, when my father was still alive, I give him money to gamble and play every week because I believed that he is just enjoying his life.

Gambling is a game of readiness to accept whatever results that comes out of it that is best suitable for the fittest due to its unguaranteed predictional nature.
I haven't seen a woman who tends to gamble for fun other than chasing after making profits.
I don't even find any acceptable reasons how and why my own mother should develop such feelings of catching fun in the gambling While I am aware of the negative occurances of ones is not responsible to control its emotions at when losses a stake which I can beat that most women are heartedly fragile to take control of their emotions at a depression time.

Of course, it is natural for us, and it is common for us to experience a range of emotions in such situations. If I’m not mistaken the game is Keno in the picture right? Here in Philippines, It’s very normal to elderly gambling especially on lottery based game and bingo. It’s quite a norm here since elderly doesn’t have that much things to do and they spend some part of their of their time playing small bet lottery for a chance to win big.

The woman in the picture is not even older than elderly here that still gambling on lottery shop or bingo shop. I believe this is a case to case basis depending on how your society accepts gambling because here in my country woman that gambling even elderly is not a big deal.

Personally I won't complain much if she does her gambling activities online or secretly at least we will understand that she's trying her luck to see it she could make out something tangible to assist her family but seeing her boldly gambling in a local shop says alot about her shameless and irresponsible she has become due to gambling addiction. In my culture, a lady who gambles is going to be regarded as an insane woman so I don't think I will ever accept any lady from my house hold to be seen or associated with any gambling activities because they can't control it when they become addicted.
