I believe that each of these projects has its pros and cons. On the ERC-20 platform, almost all new projects come out, but Bitcoin has a more developed infrastructure, many ordinary people do not know that apart from bitcoin, there are other crypto-currencies. In the future, I personally would have given preference to ETH!

eth is indeed the toughest rival of bitcoin. But bitcoin remains the number one in the future

This is for sure. At any time, the growth of the market can be observed as the value of bitcoin grows. There are no other coins that can be replaced now.

It is difficult to determine which one will be the winner in the year 2018. It seems the etherium would provide a fantastic achievement. Although still, a bitcoin became the winner.

I think in 2018 BTC remains the leading position. But in 2019 the situation can be changed to ETH. Or Iota, who knows ;-).

Answer is very easy, i can not understend why people still asking for this. Ethereum price depends about bitcoin so it is impossible to beat him.

If bitcoin will start growing, ethereum too, but it still will be cheaper

Bitcoin will always be an unique among all the cryptocurrency whether it be ETH or NEO or Litecoin. Because of it's unique features Bitcoin transactions happened in billions everyday. If, Bitcoin tumble then all other coin also go down because of a market index like behaviour of Bitcoin.

Simply because the BTC has taken the lead very far and in the near future BTC is hardly overthrown. But ETH has also grown and shown its potential. So this year, both BTC and ETH can grow beyond the old ladder.
BTC has been leading so no concept of winning with it, ETH followed but its value is so much increase so it does not fail.

There is no guarantee that this situation will last forever. Both these coins are having a lot of deficiencies and newer and more advanced coins are getting created everyday. It is just a matter of time before some coin or token overtakes these established currencies.

bitcoin never loses because we know that we are superior to all so we should not compare bitcoin and ETH dHil without defeating bitcoin.
