If you start with more you will get more.
Everything above 100$ can be a good amount.
But you can start with what you can afford.

You can start on whatever amount of money you have, as there are really cheap promising coins and the starting point is low.

It's depends on how much you are willing to lose. In crypto it is advisable to invest what you can afford to loose, don't invest all your money. So invest what you can afford to lose.

First of all, DO NOT invest if you can't lose the money. You can start to invest $1000 between $10000 in top 10 altcoins. Probably end of the year you'll be holding a hundred grand in your wallet. Cheers!

Like almost everyone above stated you should start with the amount of money that will not affect your life if you loose it. My advice is to start with a small amount and keep it  for while.

It's impossible to say what number is the best. Just invest an amount that wouldn't hurt you financially even if you lost all of it. It's the best decision.

First of all it's totally depend on your wealth....If you have more money then you can invest as much as you can. Secondly if you new in cryptocurrency world then you sould invest a bit amount of money to understand about trading.

I think if you can do a small amount, it also does not matter too. Since you are with a small capital you will get a small profit too. just start with small amount and you will see how lucky you are.

How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!
a new player only need to set up a small capital, between $100- $300 for trading, because in this number someone is tested,
whether someone will continue or even stop, and if there is a loss then the number is very small...

Actually you can start by any amount even only $50, but the amount of money should be the same with your skill in trading. And because trading altcoin is risky much better start by amount afford to lose. But if you think you have enough skill and have good trading plan you can start by $1000 or more but make sure that free money that willing to lose because no body can guaranted you will get profit.

Remember the first rule of every investment, that's you only invest the amount that you can efford to lose, which mean it's can be big or can be small but it definitely will not effect to your financial if you're unlucky and lose it in an investment.
Do exactly that rule and you will never feel like a loser in trading or investing.

There is no ideal number to invest. It depends on you how much you can afford.Frankly speaking, Invest that much if you lose that money you don't care.Yeah, you hear it right. This market is very risky when you invest in there is a little chance that you lost most of your portfolio. So be careful and go with you extra money and do some research after investment.
And yeah go for some good coin if you invest little amount still it will be better if you go will top 100-200 coin.

No one will be able to tell you exactly how much you need to start, I think that you need to start with the amount that you are not afraid of losing this approach, just like it will make your life easier in crypto-currencies.

Firstly I don't know the weight of your packet in money sense but on business basis we have learnt that you only dabble money that you can let go into any risk taking business, so any amount that you can easily let go should be the best for you. And not only the money matters, your opinion, understanding about this matters a lot.

I don't think there is an ideal amount to start trading. Trading is a win or lose game so trade with the funds you feel you won't go bankrupt when you lose it.

The best is to set your own rules, invest what you can lose. do a proper money management tactics, and never go full in with your whole portfolio. Follow the path of sane investor and you will be ok.

Invest what can you afford to lose. If you are a newbie in crypto world, it is better to start in small amount. I think 1thousand pesos is enough in your first investment. If you lose, you can still invest for your second try.
