The amount you start trading alt coins with depends on your financial capability, but the only advice I will give you is not to put in what you can not afford to loose because in crypt world any thing can happen.

If you just start, you need to start with a sum that you are not afraid to lose.

Start with what you can afford. No need to rush; set your goal for a year and a half or two. I start with $200 USD and added small amounts little by little. I’m quite satisfied with my gains currently. Best to think more about which projects are good rather than the dollar amount to invest.

I would suggest you to start up in a small amount first before you invest big amount. You must learn first the different tactics, do's and dont's for your money to multiply and not be wasted.

I believe that there is not a certain amount with which you are guaranteed success, but before you start investing - you need to study the entire crypto-currency market, assess all the risks, etc.

Start with something less like 200$, invest in good ICO and wait a bit. Of course, nothing is super profitable at once. But over time, you are lucky with a coin, and you will gain experience

Have you finished learning all the ins and out of alternative currencies trading strategies, tested your ideas with demo trading. If you have, thn start with the amount you are comfortable to lose. And  trade small lots of your money to you become expert before starting with a bigger amount. I recommend $100.00 as a testing fund.

The ideal amount of money with which you should start trading does not exist, since each of us has a budget that we can have. But I would say that $ 1,000 can be enough to trade from scratch.

I did this: I bought altcoins and bitcoins for 50% of the budget. The rest of the money left, maybe still invest in coins, which will show a good income. it should be remembered that investing in cryptocurrency is always a risk.

How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

Don't invest too much if you are lack of trading knowledge because everything might turn into ways or worst losses. Make sure that you know the basics of market cycle so that you won't feel bad during correction periods inspite of lossing some amount or do the trading confidently and earn alot.

I started initially with 1k USD. And so far I was able to earn at least 30 USD per day for good trades. That's a good start.

There is no ideal number of amount to trade in altcoins. It depends on your financial capability on how much you can afford to lose in trading. Remember that trading is not always a win win scenario. There are times you lose because of  a bad trade.

Any amount will do but remember that the bigger would be the better. if you will have a high capital for trading, it would result into huge profit. But first, be sure that you are awared on what trading really is and how things are going. Trading is abit more complicated compared to investments. So one should be awared of such possible uncertainties and risks before thinking of how much would the capital be.

I think this will solely depend on you. However, I will like to advise you to divide your capital into at least 3 (three) and then you can start investing in batches.
