Demo mode can actually be used as a learning tool for novice gamblers, even though there are differences between demo mode and live mode gambling, most demo modes make it easier to get big wins as if it had been set to win gamblers so they can increase their confidence before trying the live mode and end up gambling in live mode never tasting a win except a losing streak.

But even so still in my opinion it will be considered gambling using fake money I believe demo mode is definitely useful for new users to test games and gambling to understand how it works even though there is a difference in luck between demo mode and live mode. but there is no difference, it's just that one uses fake money, the other is real money.  Cheesy

Demo account are a big waste of time as using them would only convince the newbie that gambling is an easy way to double your investment. It will convince them to start with big amount after sometime resulting in them losing the principal amount instantly when they play using a live account.

I would consider using a demo account as gambling although real money is not involved but because of easy scenarios being created to give an idea to a new member on how to play a particular game.
I agree with you on that,  demo account can't be taken as being real experience of the games as everything with demo is different from the original game and even the winning ratio,  and that is where most newbies get things wrong because their tend to believe that since they are successful using the demo accounts and winning some of the game, they think it same while playing the live casino games and at that, the always record disappointment since their hopes are mostly ditched since there is a big difference between a demo account and real casino account.

I disagree, I believe a demo can be considered a real experience of the game since we are able to experience the game mechanics and how it works but if we are talking about a real gambling experience then it is a different thing since a demo game can never be considered as a gambling experience.  It simulates the gambling game but cannot be considered as an actual gambling experience.

I also agree with you that new players often think that actual gambling with the game would have the same result as the demo experience but end up getting disappointed because they are two very different experiences.

Totally different and we know that demo does involved not real money or funds on which it cant really be considered gambling at all but on the sense that you are doing literally a gambling game then this is what makes
this argument would be stirring up that kind of perspective but in general sense then it cant be considered gambling since you hadn't risk out something. Even if we do speak about some decisions in life which it is really considered to take up some risks or gamble for you to achieve or acquire something that you do plan. This is why its not only limited literally on gambling games but even on simple decisions in life that would be made on.
Demo games doesnt really give out that kind of emotional approach unlike when you do make use of real money and this is their main difference. You wont really be able to feel the thrill and excitement on the time that
you do gamble since you arent risking something like something valuable on which it would really be that understandable with that kind of set-up.

Demo games can only be the reason for more people to fall into gambling even without money which is a big risk because there are possible things that might happen in the end. We shouldn't get tempted to gamble if ever we can't afford it because once we do, we might only end up selling everything that we have or borrowing funds just to pursue it. Gambling shouldn't be done by people who aren't prepared financially and emotionally.

Have you heard of Superpicks on DSTV? where you can make predictions and win money without staking your money?

if you have not, check it out. Superpicks.com

My question is can it still be called gambling if it is not played with money?
I can't say you're gambling without staking - you've got nothing to lose if your predictions doesn't show forth...
I knew the site's gon' be limited to some countries even before I read the whole post... Yeahhh, sometimes since you're giving in much time and resources to select your 5 odds, then it's safe to say you're "speculating" but without funds..
OT; Sometimes, I do wonder if peeps actually win on the superpicks though..

Discussing the amount of money that needs to be entered into the exchange so that there is a feeling that you are not trading in vain, I meant a very small amount.
And I am sure that this small amount will influence the style of trading and the responsibility of decisions much more than any, even the most huge demo account. The fact is that we think not only by measures, but also by facts. It means that in fact you are playing for money, even if it is one dollar. But this is a real dollar!
And you can't find it on the street, you can only earn it. This means that subconsciously in your training trading you will act much more consciously.

Yes, in fact I think like you, but as I said before, there are players who, well, don't like the demo mode, because they believe that money is lost there, but they also see the value of money, 1 dollar is 1 dollar, and well, nobody gives it to you like that but like that because it's not much, you have to win, and for that reason you also have to take care of yourself, the main reason why players are looking for ways to play in real mode and not with demo mode is because many times they get carried away by emotions, also a friend told me one day that he had won a lot in demo mode and in real mode he did not win anything, but lost, then he told me that if I had started in real mode that money you earned in demo mode was real.

I told him later, well, maybe it is or would have been like that, but he hadn't played as relaxed as he did in demo mode, and that's the way it is because when you play in demo mode, it doesn't matter what you win, nor does it matter how much you bet , he will bet with much more relaxation and he will not be checking the balance of how much he has spent and how much he has not spent, especially when things have to be done with different amounts of bets, he tried to play in real mode similar but not the same as In demo mode, perhaps some of those limitations were what made him lose, because things already mattered a lot to him, one thing is to master and see how to play and another very different is when you know and play with clarity of what you is done, that is something that many players have not understood. which is not a waste of time, but to make sure that in the game for real money you are not mistaken in details that were polished in demo mode.

I absolutely agree, emotions in demo mode and real money are completely different. At the same time, if someone played everything on a demo account, he should not say "but this would not have happened on real money."
After all, all trading on the demo makes sense only when the player treats them very strictly as real money.

It is also important not to forget that there is such a thing as bonus money. Those that cannot be withdrawn, but you can win on them.
Do you think they relate more to a real account, or to a demo account?
It seems to me that this is something between the first and the second.

It's a really good way of looking at it, well maybe you pick up the skills faster than me, sometimes I've tried to do that and I make mistakes that sometimes cost me some money that I need later to develop a better game, but what? that? Maybe I am very prepared when it comes to doing anything in the casino, but I know myself, I prefer to spend a lot of time in the demo part to learn well each tool that the game offers us and then when I feel confident Good My real bets are I do it with real money, maybe I'm a bit methodical, but I've learned that with money you shouldn't lose like that.

I give a lot of importance to playing in demo mode, because I saw the importance of demo mode from the moment I started trading, specifically in an exchange where, because I thought I knew how to put a position well, what I did was make a profit that I already had lose, so that bothered me a lot, because of that mistake I lasted 3 days in demo mode and learned many things, that's why I apply that same teaching to casino games, the truth is I don't like losing money in a stupid way , I like to do things well, but of course, there are people who have a better understanding of the tools of casinos and exchanges.

I know that there are many people who think like me, but there are also others who believe that it is a waste of time and I understand them, the emotion, the adrenaline of playing is something that makes us unique when facing the challenges of the casinos.

demo account from the casino is only intended to know the features of a real game simulation. but indeed a demo account may be designed to make novice players have a pleasant experience. That is what will make novice gamblers interested in depositing some of their money to play for real.
the most important thing is not a matter of winning and losing on the demo account. but adapt to the game that will be carried out. Demo accounts may not be of use to gamblers who are already proficient in certain games at some casinos. but for beginners, a demo account can give a little idea of the game to be carried out.

That little idea that a new user gets about a particular game always lead to debt. If a casino wants to lure new members they should restrict them from depositing a big amount or should give some guidance as to start with small amount. Such initiative would encourage responsible gambling but why would they do it. They are running the business to make profits, which is good but some sensitivity towards users would give them a good reputation.

I beg to differ. Having demo accounts can make a difference. It might not be as noticeable as it seems but aside from making people acquainted to the user interface and the nature of how it works, it also help people to practice and test the waters first before actually betting and depositing an actual amount. Demo accounts can be your training ground before the actual event which you can try to enhance your knowledge and skills while practicing. You can also try to make few techniques and strategies in which you can apply to the real deal. It's basically how you will utilize demo accounts to your advantage since most of it are free of charge, so you won't really lose a thing. The downside is of course, you won't also gain anything.

Demo account was nothing rather than BS. It's very different compared with playing in the real game. That's pretty much the same like binary options. The demo gives you easy win but once it comes to the real account and it will make you very hard in winning the game. That's the main purpose of it. The demo account being made as promotional purpose but the fact that it's BS.

People shall not need to use demo account other than use it to know what kind of feature that available in the platform.

I fully agree that a demo account cannot be useful in real trading. There are no necessary emotions or excitement, the player by and large does not care about the outcome of transactions. Therefore, a demo account is needed only for a full acquaintance with the interface. For example, I have never played Slots, and I have no idea by what laws the winnings are calculated there. Therefore, for me, the best way out will be to try this type of casino games without money. To see if I like to play like that. In the end, we come to gambling not only to get results, but also emotions. And you can get a positive experience only if you like the interface and dynamics of the game.

I agree, because if you have basic programming skills, or at least a strategy with certain actions based on different outcomes, then you can easily try to find an approach to the game or betting or even trading. Especially if this player is a beginner. But then, if we are talking about a completely new and unfamiliar gambling site, it is better to go through KYC in advance. In order not to face the problem later that the platform sees that you have won and does not delay the verification process for you, not wanting to part with the money. This is an old trick and I've been using it for a long time. Because it turns out that what's the point of winning a lot of money if they don't want to give it to you in the end?

There are many who say that playing in demo mode is a waste of time, they may be absolutely right, but as far as I am concerned, everything that others say and think is respectable, some players know very well what the game is like and understand every detail of the game, but there are others who do not have the same understanding.

If it's a game that we've played a lot and we're still playing in demo mode then it's a waste of time and useless.
It's different when it's a new game or a game we've never played before, using the demo mode can be very useful because we can try to see the details of the game and how it works so that it's more likely to increase the chances of winning if we play in real time by risking the money we have.

But sometimes not many people are aware of this and they think playing in demo mode is useless.

The difference here is not on the side of the casino or any site with a demo account.
The difference is on the side of the player and is related to his behavior and reactions.
And given that risky decisions are of course more often used by players on demo accounts, all the developers of demo versions, I think, specifically install algorithms aimed at making winnings easier compared to a real game.  By the way, this little trick then makes it possible to beat beginner players a little more immediately after the player switches from a demo account to playing on a real account.  And that's why many people are surprised later, and ask themselves the question - maybe I still haven't practiced enough on a demo account?  But it is not.
Therefore, I say that you really need to train all the same on a real account, but with very little money.  This will teach you how to act in a real game much better and more effectively.

Nevertheless, Forex and gambling have very similar financial instruments for making money, which completely erase the line between trading and gambling. So - on Forex there is such a contract called an Option. An option is such a tool when you predict that the price of a certain currency pair will be lower or higher after a while, and if you guess, you will get +100 percent to the deposit. Does it remind you of anything? This is a one-on-one roulette game for red and black. At the same time, since our topic is about games and trading not for money, then why that Options can be used on demo accounts.
The question is very good, but I think that things can be given as a demo account to verify that things in demo mode, such as the money is fictitious, the person plays calmer without fear of losing because he knows that he will not lose anything, then the tools that exist both in casinos and on exchanges is what we must know how to understand, why? because when we play or trade on a casino platform or when we trade real money, if we make a mistake because we don't understand the tools well, we lose money.

In casino games we must understand everything, what each thing is for, because we don't know if we can use it at any given time to save our investment, I think that's why there is always a demo mode with play money.

In conclusion, I think that when you play anything without including money, it can become boring at times, but when we put money automatically, the emotion will be rotten, so it could be said that the game in demo mode and/or with play money is for educational purposes and to be able to do things much better, so as not to have mistakes when playing for real money.

My own experience clearly shows that using demo accounts and practicing your actions on a demo account is not just a waste of time, but also a completely harmful activity for the simple reason that it takes your time and does not allow you to really develop the necessary skills.  It is much better and more correct to use not a demo version in trading and games, but very small real deposits in cryptocurrency.  For example, a few dollars, losing which is almost imperceptible to your budget.
Thus, you will develop the necessary skills much faster and more correctly.

It's a really good way of looking at it, well maybe you pick up the skills faster than me, sometimes I've tried to do that and I make mistakes that sometimes cost me some money that I need later to develop a better game, but what? that? Probably useful or useless training in trading on the stock exchange or playing in a casino, or, for example, Forex trading using demo accounts, should be decided by the player himself.
I admit that many people are just impatient to start trading or playing for real money as soon as possible and they ignore demo accounts altogether.  Some people just make bets in completely different ways when they know that if they lose, they will really lose money and still try to make these bets deliberately.  And if such people start training on a demo account, then their motivation will be so transformed that it will simply not be applicable if they switch to a real account.  However, the risk-taking habit he developed on the demo account may continue.  And then the losses and losing the game is almost guaranteed.  However, some players are certainly aware of the difference between a demo account and a real account and take this difference into account.
And yet, perhaps, a demo account is really suitable for elementary development of skills simply by pressing certain options in the right order and sequence and training similar technical skills in the game.

~ It is a very simple thing, gambling is when you have something up at stake, and when you lose, you lose the money, but when you are playing a game where you don't have anything up at stake and you don't lose anything, you cannot consider that to be gambling even if you can win something.

I agree with this, but not everyone would agree. The thing is that this notion, that can gamble without money involved, was imposed by books and movies, and some people want to stick with it. Just recently I saw a film, I don't remember the name but it was something in the adventure genre, and at one point the main characters were staying at the fork of road and one said "This way or that way?" and another replied "Let's gamble". See? No money were involved, but it was called "gambling" still. I'm not saying they shouldn't use the word in the film, but here in the Gambling section I think we shouldn't call "gambling" something that doesn't involve betting money.
There is more leeway in what constitutes gambling than you give credit for. Bets are simply one form of gambling, with the main concept being the chance of a win or loss. Of course, the word "gambling" is most often applied to situations in which monetary stakes are involved
Your movie's characters were essentially "gambling" on the decisions they made, and making the wrong one may have had deadly effects. They staked something valuable - their own lives - on a result that was up in the air. That's betting in its most general form. We need to take this broader perspective into account, especially in a discussion forum

If a person does not know how to train AI, and does not have IT knowledge, he will never succeed in cheating a casino. A week ago I became interested in neural networks, I was interested in how logic works and I wanted to understand how simple it is. Two days later, I was already perfectly generating an image in the telegram bot in stable diffusion. But this is only because I have some IT knowledge, and the bot interface was basically clear. But if you need a program that will help in gambling, then of course it will not be publicly available anywhere, and its interface will not be simple. Only if it is a special paid program.
So it depends on each person's ability to understand the use of AI. By having that ability, one can quickly master it and maybe make something that can help him gather information or even place bets. And that is like what you have done with the AI.

But if AI is just for fun and has nothing to do with betting, then it's not something that can be used for betting, and of course, without money, it's not gambling. So we determine whether it is gambling or not based on the money used or just guessing.
