The crypto market has a high level of volatility. Anyone who is about to make an investment needs to have a good understanding of the volatile market. Now the question is, even with volatility, will you still choose to make your investment in fiat through bank savings with regular monthly interests or rather make your investments in crypto where you hold your asset and still have the opportunity to save and make monthly interest?

Wake me in the middle of the night, and ask me this same question, I will tell you bitcoin all the way, whenever I make savings in my Bank account, I always wake up to see unnecessary dedications in the name of charges, and no matter how long the money is kept it will not yield interest, so rather than the money appreciating, it's deprecating.
on like bitcoin that is volatile no doubt, but has a great tendency of increasing in interest value.
So I will rather save in bitcoin than fiat.

To be Frank the interest the bank can offer in an investment can't be compared to what one can gain from bitcoin. If you calculate the interest of the bank and couple to the lose value of the flat,  their is nothing reasonable that will be gained from the investment.  Despite the volatility in bitcoin are still consider bitcoin to be the best investment that can yield profit overtime. Investing in Bitcoin for long-term can give double of the capital as the profit.

Volatility in bitcoin is doesn't affect investment,  instead it serves as opportunity for people to invest as to buy low they can afford.

Honestly, I don't like both of them because there are too many risks, even though they can be minimized, the risks are still high even though I have followed both and made a profit, for long-term investments I don't like.

That's a tricky question. However, investment in FIAT (traditional currencies) or CRYPTO (cryptocurrencies) depends on your financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment strategy. FIAT provides you with:
Stability: FIAT currencies are generally more stable than cryptocurrencies, as they are backed by governments and central banks.
Inflation: FIAT currencies may be subject to inflation, which can erode their purchasing power over time.
Traditional Investments: FIAT investments can include traditional assets like stocks, bonds, and real estate.
And CRYPTO:
Volatility: Cryptocurrencies are known for their price volatility. While this can present opportunities for high returns, it also comes with increased risk.
Decentralization: Cryptocurrencies operate on decentralized blockchain technology, providing a degree of autonomy from traditional financial systems.
Innovation: The blockchain technology underlying cryptocurrencies has the potential to drive innovation in various industries.

Just consider the following factors when making a decision, like risk tolerance: Cryptocurrencies tend to be riskier than FIAT currencies. Assess your comfort level with market volatility. Then the time horizon: Consider your investment time horizon. Cryptocurrency investments might be more suitable for long-term investors. Then diversification: A well-diversified portfolio may include a mix of traditional and digital assets to spread risk. And finally, make research: Thoroughly research both FIAT and cryptocurrency investments, including understanding the market, technology, and regulatory environment.
However my heart goes with crypto, yes greater risk but also greater rewards. If you crypto lover' also reward yourself with crypto fashion at The Alt Street.[https://www.thealtstreet.shop/]

Good insight, crypto investment has high yield potential indeed also you have to DYOR before taking any step to invest in crypto.

Significant gains are to be made in crypto, but when it comes to securing the money I'd choose fiat, crypto is too fragile to secure money, you could argue that BTC is secure, but securing it from hacks/scams is no easy feat. You could park portion of your wealth in BTC but not all, just couple days ago I read a story about a man who lost 20 something BTC in hack.

That’s really Sad, anyways have 100% security depends on your choice of exchange. There are exchanges that ensure users asset security by taking extra measures and spending on the exchange security strength, for example Bitget and Binance, you won’t have issue using those two exchanges because of their good security measures.

Of course we are in cryptocurrency, and we will prefer to invest in crypto because we understand it. We can see that those who do not understand Bitcoin or cryptocurrency will prefer to invest in fiat because they do not know anything about cryptocurrency.

And we who are more understanding and know more prefer to invest in it because we know that it is an easier way for us to get a profit in cryptocurrency compared to Fiat, no matter what others tell me.

People who earn income from crypto cannot easily stop investing in crypto. Crypto is a risky investment sector, but it is also an easy investment sector. A little curiosity also plays a big role in this situation because those who are curious about crypto usually see that their curiosity is met and they love crypto. This leads them to prefer crypto in general.

When investing, what you think is more important than what others say. You are right about that. If a person is knowledgeable, they can understand whether other people's opinions are right or wrong. We see the importance of being knowledgeable about this.

Choosing crypto as an investment choice brings many advantages but also risks. Bitcoin has a lot of pros and also, in the long run, Bitcoin investment has never made a loss.

Bank investments are safe investments no doubt. They provide a small yet confirm returns over a period of time. So if someone wants this, then definitely they will go for FIAT investments. On the other hand, if someone wants to make good profits by taking sufficient risk, then he can go for crypto investments. If you ask me then definitely I will love to invest in cryptos, especially in Bitcoins. Here I have complete freedom of my own finance, and the scope to get better profits are available.

This a good point and also other than just holding your crypto and waiting to have it rise up, you can also be making profit through saving where you can get APR interest of up to 7% just like the Bitget Sharkfin product.

To others who understand Bitcoin or cryptocurrency, most who have a deep and extensive knowledge of it actually profit from volatility; did you know that? I think you don't know that, and you are not aware of my opinion.

But it cannot be denied that because of the volatility, many people are disappointed in Bitcoin because the market is too unpredictable, so many of their capital assets also end up in losses.

Base on your take, it’s important to understand that emotions such as greed, fear, confidence is very essential to take cognizance of as a crypto trader or investor. When volatility happens the fact that you’re scared can make you sell at loss. Also there is a need to have good entry strategy, you need to have a good understanding of the market to do that, you should equally make use of available tools at your disposal like DCA or you can use Bitget smart portfolio bot to automatically rebalance your assets.

OP, out for me lost but alternatively I think you mean to ask between having a fixed deposit that is to offer Monthly interests and Investing on crypto which is preferable.
If so, I think it is Worth debating because the both sides like to lean on time factors (patient).

Fixed deposit is one of a kind assets that is provided from the bank just as Bitcoin being one of a kind origin of crypto assets in a Blockchain.
A fixed deposit assets is such that involves a lower risk but may not be able tackle inflations hence, it's interest rates is depended on the period of time the fund is invested (deposited) and has some taxational charges with tendencies of low returns.
On fixed deposit investment, its investors is deprived from tempering the deposit fund and it is unwise engaging on investment that can not help to give your present solutions to your needs while you have some money out there alternatively, tempering your deposited fund in an amateur can compromise your assets value.

Bitcoin Investment is a one kind investment which its investors is in-charge to it all decision making except for its volatility which determines its appreciative or depreciative values.
In Bitcoin investments, one is accessed to place withdrawal of its fund and doesn't matter if it is a long-term or a short-term investment.
Bitcoin is potential to profer its Investors richness in an overnight and can also mess one up overnight but there is absolutely no tendencies getting it all lost that is barely the risk in Bitcoin investments but its investors high rates of demands has it the possibilities to higher rates in returns.
Bitcoin as a decentralized digital currency is simply reliable as an independent digital assets.

So with all  Dos and DON'Ts, I am relaxed with the crypto investment bit Bitcoin precisely because it has me a higher level of reliability and profitable in the space of crypto Blockchain.

Thanks for your take on this, I’m sure everyone who has been in this crypto industry would definitely choose crypto over fiat once you’ve done your necessary research and you’ve reach a good understanding of what you’re about to invest on.

This is not a question but a financial mistake. I mean, why do you need a fiat in the first and what is that monthly interest rate you are talking about? Let me tell you something, USA which I respect so much because they are good in inflation management, perhaps their banking annually interest rates might favor people that save money in the bank but I'm not sure if that works in a country like mine because under a year, inflation might double that amount of interest the banks will give you in a savings account.

To sum it up, if you have a savings account, make sure you don't attach email, debit and credit card to them and also deactivate the sms alert system, not because they are not good but the charges bank will deduct from your savings money might be 2x the amount of annually interest rate they will give you at the end of the day, I hope you see that saving is verb complicated if you don't know how to use the system.

I will not force you but please buy bitcoin if you have the means but don't do it under stress, but it when you know you are fully prepared and ready for it, you will not regret every buying it provided that you buy at the bottom, don't buy at the top Grin
It's true that American banks may provide reasonable interest rates, but those rates may not mean much in nations with high rates of inflation. You're being wise when it comes to the little fees associated with bank accounts, such as those that might quickly deplete your funds.

How about diversifying? Sure, put some money in a savings account, but think about setting aside some for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. In this approach, you strike a balance between the potential huge profits of cryptocurrency and the security of a bank. But keep in mind that with Bitcoin, timing matters. Purchasing low is important; purchasing high might be dangerous.

Indeed, investigate Bitcoin, but proceed with caution. Also, pay attention to those bank fees! You may be better off financially if you strike a balance between the two.

I mean, why do you need a fiat in the first and what is that monthly interest rate you are talking about?
It's not only about monthly interest and investments. We all have emergency cases in life and you can't pay for them with bitcoin. What if there is a car accident, you got an injury, need surgery or something emergency happens? We all prefer to have something stable and fiat is the best option in this case. To my mind, it's necessary to have some emergency funds in fiat.

There is no such thing as a more profitable investment in cryptocurrency or fiat, I know very successful people who, with the help of fiat money, get much greater profits than those who deal with crypto.

With cryptocurrency it’s even more complicated, because you can’t count your profit if you only see numbers on the screen, it won’t be your profit until you withdraw it into cash, which you can hold in your hands. I know such successful investors in crypto who owned hundreds of thousands of dollars and ultimately withdrew only a few tens of thousands, all the rest of the profit was eaten up by the bear market.
If one can use fiat wisely and start a very profitable business instead of focusing on passive income, no doubt that will be a good choice but for passive income, crypto is the best option because it's still new, growing rapidly and there is the space for development for it. New and innovative things are the future.

It simply does not make sense to invest in fiat currency for me. I live in a country where my local currency value was 78 BDT per USD about two years ago. Now it's 120 BDT against the USD, and I am afraid it will increase further. All my holdings are in Bitcoin at this moment, and I will accept the lose as well because it has the potential to give me 2x profit in the next couple of months.

I can cash this Bitcoin anytime and If I sell my converted USD for Local currency, I will likely get a better exchange rate because of the inflation. Things could be different in your country. But investing fiat is big NO NO from me.

If I have to choose When investing only choose crypto or other form asset like stock. Fiat investment is great but nowadays with high inflation, I dont think is really great anymore. BRIC wants  to create their own money dollar is started losing so I think is not really the best option right now. But if you invest in crypto take profit when the bull market back to fiat and buying again at the bear market is fine.
This is a quite different investment comparison, Crypto has a high risk so it has a high risk too, it's quite worth it.
Meanwhile, Fiat tends to be stable, there is no risk that we face and there is no possibility that we will get it.
So it all depends on our goals, if the investment goal is to achieve big profits, of course it is better in Crypto, but that also requires all the knowledge that must be possessed to minimize risks.

This all comes back to the strategy we use, cryptocurrency market movements are quite fast so it is possible for everything to happen quickly, so regarding when is the time to withdraw profits and enter to buy back on ourselves and the knowledge we have, which is certain in the market Cryptocurrencies have a very high risk and it is outweighed by the possible rewards.

I'm already making my investments mostly in crypto, around 80%. Simply because no one can take it away from me, and because BTC has huge potential.

Based on my experience I'd choose cryptocurrencies because I did well in this field over the years and I know a thing or two about it.

This is a pointless question to be frank because most of us are already invested in crypto. It's like asking someone driving a car if he'd rather walk right now or keep driving Cheesy

If you'd give me a million dollars now or a million in bitcoin I'd choose bitcoin, if that's what you're asking. I'd prefer bitcoin over stocks as well and my dedication proves it. Over the years I kept holding bitcoin instead of converting it to fiat money or anything else.

Let's talk about a topic that interests a lot of people: would you rather invest in the world of CRIPTO or conventional FIAT currencies? To make an informed decision, I find it interesting to investigate both sides of the issue. I discovered an intriguing website today called https://boomchange.com where you may learn more and perhaps even make conclusions. Undoubtedly, cryptocurrencies have special prospects, but FIAT also offers advantages in terms of stability. Hearing about your opinions and experiences with this matter would be fantastic! Is there someone who is actively investing in cryptocurrency while others continue to use regular banking methods? Friends, voice your opinions!
