Quick update this time, holiday season.

Boolberry Daemon Development

The boolberry client was having problems connecting to other nodes due to some hardcoded seed nodes being down. Javajared came up with a temporary solution using the command line but there are more redundancies we can import from the Monero project, where they host a list of seed nodes and have backups. The monero solution is decentralized enough.

The daemon updates prerequisites to fixing the wallet, and progress is moving forward on the database conversion of the blockchain.

Another developer is expected to be onboarded to work on microservices to help the Boolberry infrastructure.

I don't know cz, and have no idea what he is working on.

As a simple mindet person I have no opinion about the future of this coin. My cognizance is about history only. You can compare me to an animal more than to human mankind. Choose an animal you like.

Are you a BBR holder and what causes you to believe he is still working on bbr? I don't doubt that he is still around in the background somewhere but is he working on BBR or another project?

Yes in circulation eg. exchanges, but there has been 8.4mil created.

In the very next paragraph they say less than 5m in circulation

In that article they stated 8,187,580 BBR, and 1block checked this week exactly how many and stated in his update "As of block 646844 there are 8,498,055.023923 Boolberry in existence."

What is your best guess on how much BBR is in circulation? Why do you think the market would underestimate that?

XBR would just be a trading symbol, it would still be pronounced "Boolberry". Many places list Bitcoin as XBT part of a currency pair, while others list it as BTC a product name. Although you would be able to expect that I exclusively use the trading symbol.

What would you like from CZ, an endorsement? I thought it was pretty clear there wouldn't be any contentious hard forks and the code is open source.

Please try to work things out with CZ. Having two names and two coins on one chain, or even worse forking the chain is a disaster that can benefit noone.

As some of you know, I refer to Boolberry as XBR in my own internal documents. As I watch the perception of Boolberry be out of line with reality, I think a good case for XBR would be rebranding and relaunching into the collective conscious as software updates come out in a nice cadence.

BBR has baggage of having no development on it. Bter recently delisted it. The one block explorer stopped showing blocks for it. There are legitimate reasons for people to think it has no development, especially when its main twitter account also said so.

XBR would be a nice punch of life, immediately letting everyone know that there is a development effort ongoing. That's my case for XBR. Its a discussion.

Boolberry Daemon Development

Version information was added to each peer handshake.

We will release binaries soon and put the md5 or other hash into the repository, for validation. These binaries will be compatible with all other boolberry clients, but have additional functionality. It will at the very least show how much of the network uses the new client.

All of our upcoming web services will use the new client, because the web services simply won't work on the old versions of boolberry due to few RPC functions.

Additionally, stop_daemon RPC method was added as well as protected API status.

Javajared is zooming through RPC code updates, as he is also working on a Java version of Boolberry client from scratch.
