I think the DRK fanboys are finally waking up...

Could not agree more...

Who could the "other currency" with working nodes be I wonder Wink

"Guys WTF.

I've been a longterm holder of DRK for ages but this has gone too far. The original bug was supposed to be an easy fix, yet it took a month for the next release. It's now been found out that the new release doesn't even work. This is twice now.

In that thirty odd days our competition has passed us, imagine what it's going to be like when DRK now gets pushed back even longer. There's even another currency out there with working node payments and they haven't even been around for a third of the time DRK has.

Look, I'm holding onto my coins, but this is getting ridiculous. I'm starting to think Evan is way out of his depth."
Can someone post a link to the source please?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7422487

I checked the guy's last posts, didnt study them well enough, but it looks a solid profile not just trolling or w/e

as for people wondering about price, I really dont mind it. Im getting some decent payoffs from other alt coins and reinvest back here.

Plz do remember that there are paid professionals twitters/promoters call them w/e you want, that promote coins, spread info etc. Its not shameful nor wrong, its just the way it is. There are many new coins, some with possibly decent devs, others blatant scams, working their way with PR, but lack foundation.

Dev is taking the exact opposite way here, he wants basic/functional things ready for the big PR push, thats what this team has shown. I guess we will see XC everywhere the following month, at least that IS what our community managers here said or announced(but pages moving FAST).

My advice? Follow the small XC pumps during the day, sell some then for max profit, ride the new coins' bubbles, earn profit, rebuy XC at dumps, repeat next day.

BTW, ITS BITCOINTBELTWAY TIME!

when i first click run-xc-xnode-mainnet.bat it ask for something;

To use the "-server" option, you must set a rpcpassword in the configuration... blah blah

wallet will not launch. what do you say about this? my question is if xnode even work?

Add the RPC data to your .conf file. This is basic with all coins

what rpc data? this is why people want the guide to talk more about rpc data. where/what/how to get data because my concern if i even enter this rpc data correctly.
hello rpc is data you create for yourself.  it usually allows yourself to point and connect mining devices to your wallet and is required to run the -server flag.  in this case just create a username and a strong password so no one else can access your wallet remotely and add it to your conf file.  in the .conf file it looks like this
among other strings:
server=1
rpcuser=jasemoney
rpcpassword=longpasswordigenerated

good to know.
so rpcuser/rpcpassword can be anything. this need to be written in xnode guide.

yes... but this is not information specific to Xnode or even XC.... but I agree a newbie guide may be helpful for some.

Just been doing some digging, look at who tested the latest DRK release

"President Chaeplin" no less, looks like he made sure the release was high quality... Tee hee...

https://darkcointalk.org/threads/rc3-hard-fork-on-june-20th.1241/

"The Darkcoin network will be forking on the 20th to support masternode
payments. This release fixes client forking issues (from RC2), ghost
masternodes, increases the masternode payment to 20% and improves the
communication protocol for masternode and supports the hot/cold setup
for masternode operators (allowing your money to not be risked at
all.).

Thanks to Flare, President Chaeplin, Fernando, Eltito, Propulsion,
Jimbit and everyone else who helped out! We had really impressive turn
out for testing day in and day out to help us ensure this release is
high quality."

Considering how much time "President Chaeplin" spent in our thread, doing not a lot really, I think it is more than interesting that he also tested the latest DRK failed release..

Next time he is over here throwing his accusations around, I will certainly be reminding him of his "high quality" release...

this guide is just nonsense because it don't have information about rpcuser and rpcpassword. is rpcuser/rpcpassword require to run xnode? if this need then what/where/how to get them. please talk more about rpcuser/rpcpassword. for all these times i still have no staking and no xnode compensation, almost 4 weeks.

If you have no staking after 4 weeks then you are doing something wrong.
nah i never staking 4 weeks straight, just 1 week on and 1week off then moving coins around for flipping. i have done this over 4 weeks now and see no staking or xnode transaction. after 1 week i see nothing then I moving on.

you cant stakethe coins if you are moving them around...

I think discussing DRK in this thread is in bad taste.
yes, DRK is a failure.

You are talking nonsense...
Why the hell are you talking about rpcuser and rpcpassword?...
rpcuser and password is only for mining.

If somebody tells you... IS THAT SIMPLE... you tell them... No, it cannot be true, please, do complicate my job a little...I can't accept this...

Gosh...

Is that simple, just make that address, transfer that amount of coins in that address, and start the wallet through xnode bat...

the problem right now is that XC setup is easy for those who understand crypto a lil bit...the software is still in beta so you dont have nice big GUI buttons to do things,mostly command line for now.  Someone should write better docs for the newbies, either that or the newbies should wait to play after beta is complete and a GUI is built for most things.
