Similar to LocalBitcoins for BTC, this is P2P trading platform of any currency (fiat+BTC) for Monero.

Bypassing the centralized exchanges, that should prevent the price from falling.

Perhaps, you post an advertisement as a "seller on the spot", reselling Monero and increasing the number  of the "local" members.

By expanding Monero users network in cities and regions as much as possible, all its members will have profited!

To make Monero REAL, we have to create its REAL use. Thanks to Monero's unique functions some things are going to happen next nearest time. MoneroClub is the first step to get Monero in a comfortable way.

Monero Daemon Node

As an experiment the nodes will be created for those, who do not want to keep the whole blockchain, but only want to run a lightweight client.
Just connect the wallet to the monero daemon as before:

Emails are the last century, outmoded and unsafe, spying from one and all. Here is no emails, registration and the whole support occur through bitmessage

By registration you get a pincode (once!). Mark it well! It won't be saved in our data base, we do not know it. So, if you lost the password, you can restore it only with a pincode manual through bitmessage support.

This is the Alpha-version of the project. It will be advanced and improved greatly.

Yeah, this is it. 23 and me (and others) give unreliable data, because in order to give accurate data, one needs to sequence a person's whole genome and we are very far from it. And that's the difference between genetics and genomics (I'm quoting Laurent Alexandre here, who you must at least have heard of).

Heard of webscrapping, or memory leaking? If you can output it, you can copy it - that's why pictures have a visible watermark. Since this is digital, there won't be any loss of information, contrary to analog.

And that's why preventing decentralised double-spend is so huge - it goes against the very basic of digital technology, which is that that copy is identical to the original. Breaking such a fundamental rule of information theory is awesome.

1m03 on a win8.1, i7, 16GB, hdd machine (with debian VM running a BTC node & yam miner hashing for XMR also utilizing the CPU at the same time)

I would seriously recommend keeping this closed source if possible when implemented. Maybe 2 versions where the paranoid can use wallets without multi-sig. The first that gets here and can keep it to themselves will be the clear winner.

Added: Thinking more on this and is there any reason this could not be implemented in a wrapper? Just for security reasons that may be a eloquent way to address.

I wish I could still program this would be a great project to work on.

They were right too, you're right about that. Bitcoin has had an incredible year now topped off with the Microsoft thing. And then we have all these interesting projects going on in the alt world too.

The only thing that didn't happen for Bitcoin is the price. But other than that things are pretty good. It's just a question of how people are going to generate demand for things like BTC and XMR.

And they were right. But it seems will be 2015 also year of Crypto and 2016 again. Maybe will last many years before there will be year of something new.

Not to mention a MSB license for dealing with fiat currency.

In the near term, hopefully Shapeshift.io will begin Monero support soon. They said they were going to when I emailed them about a month ago but I haven't followed up yet.

Hardest part (for most of us here) and largest cost is the legal side.

It's not so simple.
You need quite alot, like:

- Monero database have to be finished and tested first.
- It's required to have a dedicated server at the first place.
- Nice domain name.
- A good skills to program something unique and nice
- Nice, but simple design
- A bit of marketing to make it alive...

and so on.
