No thanks. Perhaps you could get some actual cryptanalysis done and then we can talk.

Listen here XMR dev, I dont need to divulge who my tech guy is. You should be focused on selling your XMR and not chatting here with me.

You mean someone who has released only closed source software that closely mimics the anon-tech of darkcoin, which you clearly find lacking. That's OK I think I'll pass.

I bet you would pass.. You would rather go down with the titanic then get out alive... AKA BagHolder!

XUC??? WTF is that???

I thought this was XMR... Oh wait.. Its dying.. I get it......

#Stealthcoin for the win.

So instead of choosing to remain ignorant (and I know a lot of people that earn significantly more than 50 BTC a month and similarly choose not to remain ignorant) I clicked on the XUC link. It is a cryptocurrency barwizi is hoping to launch next month to provide a "common" currency between cryptocurrencies. Monero is one of the coins he has selected to participate. Stealthcoin, unfortunately, is not. But I'm sure if you vacate our thread and go back to shilling elsewhere you can beg him to include it. All the best with that, chum, I'm sure your tech advisor can assist you and your 50 BTC a month to beg barwizi for inclusion.

Monero shall be included alongside the veritable likes of Magic Internet Money and Earthcoin. Winning!

Seriously though, I know this is the Monero thread, and I don't mean to feed the trollfolk, but after the nonstop stealthcoin shilling I decided to take a look at their ANN page.

They had a 4 day PoW period, not even four days, and then went completely PoS. At the same time they tout:
Quote
Blocks 11-260 award: 16.0 XST each (4 hr low reward for fair launch)
Fair launch my ass. You can't have a fair distribution of coins if your entire PoW period is practically shorter than the time it takes me to eat a stealth doughnut, digest it, and stealthily shit it out (I have a slow digestive system).

There's no functional anonymous sending, only promises to implement it at some later date. The "stealthtext" sending option apparently relies entirely on servers hosted by the coin's creator; such decentralization!

They also mention several times how the coin has proof-of developer because it's been approved by TheCryptoAsian™, standing along other giants of the cryptoworld like: rootcoin, ethancoin, aerocoin, and roscoin. Sorry, but this bullshit sounds more like proof-of-paying-some-guy-named-TheCryptoAsian™ or proof-of-collusion-with-TheCryptoAsian™. What a load of horseshit. I guess I should dump all my bitcoin because Satoshi didn't make the cut with TheCryptoAsian™.

If you guys are gonna shill nonstop, at least find something that's not such a piece of garbage, ffs.

Bobsurplus is beyond pathetic. Every month or so he choose a new coin to shill for. He used to spam the Darkcoin thread with Cloakcoin advertising, now he comes here to propagate new nonsense. The coins change, but the nonsense he spews follows the same formula.

It was not nonesense. You guys failed RC3, the coin was dying and I just voiced my opinion that drk was a dying coin and on its way out. (Which I was right about)
Hey, just curious... How many more failed RC's have you had since then on your search for masternode anonymity?  Grin
RC5 or 6 I believe.

I'd also like to point out that when I was on the drk thread cloak was trading at around 50K sat maybe up to about 80K sat. It then went to over 350K sat, with 1000+ volume days for weeks.... Lottttts of money was made and lost.

And guess what.....

Stealthcoin is the new Cloak. Deal with it and either make some money or be a whiny little bitch. Just get off my back for calling your drk bagholding ass out back in the day when you guys were all yelling how rc4 was gonna be the best thing since sliced bread.

RC4 was a fail btw!

So like I said, either get with the program and make some money or bugger off.

This coin has been tagged for participation in Project XUC :- Project XUC

Don't even try to understand it.  You'll just get a headache.

It's something like James777's wacky yet overambitious SuperNet project to abstract individual coin's features and create a framework for interoperability.

Like UML and other metamodeling wankery, they do nothing except create unproductive make-work jobs for their proponents (and pump coins for later dumps).

Yeah, and he wants your private key, right off the bat, in order to participate. If that doesn't set off the RED B.S. flag, I don't know what would.

I posted about it in Scam Accusations: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8917702

Moneroman88, while being an obvious and not particularly bright troll, ended up being one of the most effective trolls I've ever seen.

MM88 is a great troll; an instant legend.  You know he's a troll, but can't tell what kind.

My parsing: MM88 is a genuine XMR supporter, posing as an fake XMR supporter pretending to be an pro-XMR reverse troll/shill.

He's a marvelous parody of the 'sophisticated' anti-XMR trolls, and goes them one better, IMO.   Tongue

And you can't argue with the results he got.  Couldn't have done it better myself!

Hats off to his inverse-psychology false-flag Serbian Jew double-bluff strategy of tension.

Interesting, so if we agree, each Monero holders gets some XUC, but the development team do not have to make any changes at all to the network?

Is this correct?

Facts are more efficient than fud
Are you joking... So if bitcoin was deemed to be flawed and was going to die would you call the first guys to sell panic sellers?

I'd call them smart money.

Deemed to be flawed by nobody important.

Don't you have another thread to go be annoying in?

You mean everyone important. Stop running your mouth and go try to fix your fucking coin.

What a dumbass you are. Sitting here arguing with investors while your other team members and yourself dump.

Fuckoff!

How about you follow your own advice and fuck off out of this thread? I'm sure they could use your 'expertise' back in the stealthcoin thread. You've clearly made your point here and as far as I can tell you're only still in this thread trying to scare Monero supporters into your waiting stealthcoin arms.

At the moment, there has been no confirmed exploit in Monero. And there won't be a confirmed exploit until someone either provides specific technical details or actually carries it out either on the main Monero blockchain or the testnet block chain. Even then, the impact of such an attack is uncertain. Given the XMR dev team's track record of dealing with blockchain attacks, it's entirely possible they'll quickly catch it, perform remedial action, and then put in place measures to prevent it from happening in the future.

It's not smart money to be shaken out of the tree by unsubstantiated and unproven rumours. Specially not if you end up wrong after following the rumour and end up having to buy back in for higher than you cashed out at.

Good luck with all that. In 2 days I'll be back to see how that fix is coming along.

HAHAHA

If it's dead, you have no reason to be here. It's dead and that's that. You should be busy attacking a coin that isn't dead and stealing investors from the coin you represent. Right now, all you are doing is annoying people who don't want your coin and want it even less with every vitriolic word you type on the screen.
