Thank you for your reply which was really quick...

But I am using simpleminer on Win 7 x64 since I dunno anything about nix and compiling of cpuminer-multi etc.

6 threads, Core i7 920 and with 75% of utilization gives me around 75 H/s... but it is going up and down like on other pools, but not like this. Mostly around 50 H/s... I see the pool's hash-rate acts the same, falls over 10 times from 50 KH/s to 6 or so... So this problem must be hitting others too...

:/

yes i have spoken to some of the other pool ops and it is a global issue.
i can tell you that everyone involved is working on it.

yeah some fudsters will scream that this coin is launched before ANN thread. But this is old ANN thread which was posted on 10th Apr:

Mr. extremepool.org rep, where are you?

Can we get a fix for those hash-rate drops of our miners and losing connection, please? Pool hash-rate going down and up as we can see and we started solving blocks like we should...

This is not an issue with the pool, this is an issue with the miner.  Devs are working on it but if you would like you can also use simpleminer.  I have disabled long polling for now, this creates the possibilities of more orphans but that is all we can do at this point.

So, what's a tentative time table for the new miner to come out?

Now that this coin is on people's radar, pumping and they realise they missed getting in at ground level, expect:

[1] - loads of FUD coming its way, including crap about dodgy wallets, instamines, scam etc etc

[2] - a pretty quick collapse in value unless things are seen to be getting worked on and having a future

Why are people wanting this on more exchanges? It barely even functions. Right now, there are no reliable pools, and those pools when they work, are like 1 percent of the network total. So, most likely one or few people with access to like an university computer lab, is getting like 90%+ of the coins.

Anyway, this is in alpha stage not launch stage. I've been mining this for like 3 days and got 8 coins. LOL. And about a 1/4 of that time the pool just says disconnecting, trying again.

Works fine for me and many others as an ordinary home desktop miner. The pool software is 2 days old and a work-in-progress so not many people are using it (you can follow progress in the IRC dev channel). In any case, pools are an external service rather than an integral part of the cryptocurrency core software.

This is the natural course of something that's not a Bitcoin copy-paste. If you're uncomfortable in this territory, then it's best to go back to those.

Who cares?
What do you think go the price in the next 24 hours?

i think 0.01 btc is possible

That would be exquisitely, irresistibly, scrumtrulecent.

Silliest post of the day.

i second this... comparing maxcoin... to this wonder coin? gota be smoking something

haha maxcoin launch was an epic fail + it was with bitcoin tech! This coin is completely new tech.

Ubuntu 14.04 now does have libboost 1.55 by default AFAIK. To install, use

Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libboost1.55-all-dev

Excellent. I will try that myself on my next build.

automatic withdrawal on Poloniex seems to have problem. Maybe because this coin is new tech and they have problem on implementing it smoothly.
