Who cares?
Has Monero achieved anonymity? Huh

It was totally anonymous from day one.  Far more so than DRK.

I think what is much more impressive than the price development (I expected that and pre-poloniex it was overly cheap) is the volume. 200.000 (!) out of 850.000 mro changed hands today. even if you take all the arbitrage trades away it is nothing but massive. overall more than 500 btc trade volume in less than 24h

I said this before in the darkcoin thread, there is a huge demand for a coin offering anonymization, let us build it.

Who cares?
Can someone please tell me how do I transfer coins from my simplewallet to exchange?

Click "Generate payment ID" button on Poloniex, then do the command:

Code:
transfer 0

When I click "Generate payment ID'' nothing happens Sad

This happened to me too.  I just kept clicking it, here and there for a few minutes and eventually it worked.

@fr0wn3r

Thank you for your reply which was really quick...

But I am using simpleminer on Win 7 x64 since I dunno anything about nix and compiling of cpuminer-multi etc.

6 threads, Core i7 920 and with 75% of utilization gives me around 75 H/s... but it is going up and down like on other pools, but not like this. Mostly around 50 H/s... I see the pool's hash-rate acts the same, falls over 10 times from 50 KH/s to 6 or so... So this problem must be hitting others too...

:/

Hey fr0wn3r, how are you getting 75 H/s , Im only getting 25 H/s on my Core i7 960 with simpleminer on 8 threads? thats what it says on monero.crypto-pool.fr

I'm having trouble with Poloniex as I can't generate a new payment ID. Tried Firefox and Chrome.

I implore everyone to stick with their gut on this coin. A lot of Darkcoin fanatics will view Monero as a threat to their investment and spread nonsense. Some Darkcoin fantatics will share mutual respect, too.

Always remember the golden rule of negativity coming from other users: There is usually a premeditated reason for it.

My premeditated reason for saying this? I don't want this community to panic at all.

Trust your gut, do your research, and don't let anyone dictate your perception of this coin. You have a gem here.

is there anyone who successfully withdrew MRO on Polo ?

tried to withdraw  0.1 monero from polo just incase there were ''delays''.... and i still have not received anything from them...

My two test withdrawals with small amount also doens't work. Status is now "COMPLETE; ERROR" which mean there is something wrong with their automatic system. I contacted support and waiting for their reply. You should also open a ticket or email them to urge them fixing this issue.

Just like people have stated before - try typing refresh in the wallet.

Of course i did that, also tried the command incoming_transfers many times, but nothing showed up. This problem must be at Poloniex's end.

did the ticket too bro, and i got complete error too.... waiting a reply hopefully we can get out test runs asap

Has anyone figured out why CPUminer craps out after accepting a share on moneropool.org?

Now that this coin is on people's radar, pumping and they realise they missed getting in at ground level, expect:

Nobody missed the ground level. We are pretty much still in the basement with less than 5% of the coins mined, multiple pools coming online, GUI wallets being worked on, and only a few exchanges trading it.

We will, of course have the usual parade of FUD, false accusations, and innuendo just to remind us that we are doing something right and starting to succeed. Think of them as a badge of honor. Nobody attacks an unsuccessful coin.

Expect lots of crap, but persistence and community spirit tends to win.
Best of luck with all the FUD.
