They're showing how many have died but they're not showing how many got vaccinated and out of thousands to millions of people, only a very few got that bad effect. And what's worse is that those people got another symptom not from the vaccine but from their natural disease that has been there before they take the jabs. There are people who drop dead after few days of the vaccine (of course drop dead is just an expression, people just die) and you can find it easily on google news, but after minutes of the vaccine it's a surprise for me. However I remember before covid became a pandemic, when it was just starting in Wuhan, China, there were lots of videos on social medias showing people literally dropping dead on the streets without apparent reason. By now I don't know if those videos were true, since no one talked about it anymore. Crazy and scaring videos.

People are dropping dead all around the world every day after taking all kinds of medicines, it really needs to be put into perspective. In general, would you prefer to risk a medium chance of getting life changing injuries (such as major lung damage) or even death after catching a highly contagious virus that has killed tens of thousands around the world in a short space of time, or would you prefer a super tiny chance of dying by taking some preventative medicine that will stop such damage in its tracks and lower the chance you infect others? As we have seen from heavily vaccinated countries that used even the astrazeneca jab for large amounts of people, there were very few deaths and it was generally given to elderly people who have a tougher time dealing with any potentially bad side effects.

If you believe in such stupidity, then you deserve whatever you get. Anyway, vaccines are in short supply and no one will force you to take them. If you refuse to take them, then more deserving people will get a chance to be vaccinated. I wonder from where did you got the stories of "people dropping dead in a few minutes"... please post the url here, as I want to go through the article. 3.39 billion doses of the vaccine has been administrated till now. On point. At least they are giving a form of perks to those who really want to get vaccinated.

On the other hand, the lottery is also an advantage for those people that don't have a problem having a shot. It's like they are being rewarded for something that they really want.

Let those people who don't want to be vaccinated as it is. The government can't really do something about it and I understand those people. The mandatory vaccine should only be applied to those people who work in essential jobs such as healthcare, food industries, supermarket personnel, etc.

That's the point, it's there rights to whatever decision they've got, letting them do what things they think that best for them.

I dont really mind about on whose the winner of that Lottery because you dont even know if those draws are transparent or not which you cant assure if its fair at all in the first place and if yes

That's such a cruel but accurate statement. In some countries, people are begging for vaccination but the doses are not enough to satisfy the demand while in other parts of the world, there are countries that have enough but the people are feared/lazy enough to avoid it and the governments have to run such schemes. Such a huge disparity in vaccine distribution.

I appreciate the effort to put such a scheme in place but people must have a self-understanding of the situation too and shouldn't be offered prizes or lotteries to get the vaccination. It almost feels like the governments are getting something when people get vaccinated.

If you don't want to get a vaccine shot, then it is your choice. But later, don't blame the government if someone in your family dies from COVID. The daily number of deaths from COVID has almost reduced to zero in countries such as Israel, United Kingdom and the United States, which have achieved more than 50% vaccination coverage. Interesting that people don't get the vaccine because they believe it will present side effects on their bodies, but if the government offers them a tiny chance to win a car they suddenly change their minds and get vaccinated even if it's going to present those same side effects. If I were fully convinced vaccines were harmful I wouldn't take it even if I was the only competitor of the lottery, because health comes first.

If people are going to engage themselves on this campaign that is not because they didn't want to vaccinate before, that was just they were too lazy to do it for free...
