Sure. In my country (Russia), all foreign vaccines are prohibited, and the quality of domestic vaccines is in great doubt. Given the government's endless historical lies and how aggressively it tries to impose vaccination, many people are just as aggressively trying to avoid it.

I was always surprised with the low vaccination rates from Russia, despite they being one of the major vaccine manufacturers. They have supplied tens of millions of doses (of the Sputnik V) vaccine to countries such as Argentina and Serbia, and yet only 31.87 million have received at least one dose within Russia (20.6 million fully vaccinated - less than 15% of the population). I heard that the vaccination rate has picked up there, with around 600,000 doses being administered per day. But even at this rate, by the end of this year less than half of the population will be vaccinated.

I’ll tell you another interesting thing - a huge number of these vaccinated people did not actually get any vaccine. They just paid for the vaccination certificate due to the pressure but avoided this vaccination. I have many such acquaintances, so even these official figures are very far from reality.

The same with my country they are a lot of campaigns that stating they are having an event such as a raffle to the player who already has their vaccines because some of them don't want to have this that might cause a different effect on their body. This kind of action is a kinda good thing for those people who don't want to have the vaccine but right now there are a lot of things that need to consider such as mandatory vaccination to all the people so they can go outside else if they don't have they cannot go to different establishments. As for now the same with here on us just lottery only to those participants.
I am sure the vaccine campaigns are running in many countries to get attention from their people and asking them to join to have the vaccinated. But the rewards will depend on the funds from the government because not all countries can give incentives to people who want to get vaccinated. Hopefully, the government will think about how they can give rewards to their people so many more will want to vaccinate. However, it is not easy to raise their awareness to be vaccinated, although they see from the news many people dying and suffering in the hospital and their homes.

I only heard this kind of thing from poland and from where am I there is no available rewards to those who wanted to have the vaccines, though more people here are really aiming to have the vaccines,

Fearing that the virus will hit them up, and with the help of this vaccines the chance will be more lesser.

Lucky for those who have same offers like this, as they got the chance to win decent amount of money after taking the vaccines
that helps them being protected from the threat of Covid virus.

In my country, at least 40 percent of ardent antivaxxers (more precisely, opponents of vaccination against covid). The government puts pressure on enterprises to force people to get vaccinated, but many refuse and the struggle goes to the extent that they quit their jobs to avoid getting vaccinated. I do not know 100% what is happening in other countries, but from the information that I receive your numbers and assumptions look wrong.

It also depends on the type of vaccine that is used. For example, I have heard that in countries such as Indonesia, Chile and Mongolia, the infection rates have gone up after using the Chinese (Sinovac/Sinopharm) vaccines. So there may be resistance from a large section of the population against using these vaccines. What is the point in taking the vaccine, if it is not effective? Also, the chances of adverse reaction is much higher with Pfizer vaccine, when compared to other vaccines (as much as 10x). These factors can discourage a lot of people from taking the vaccine.

People massively refuse to get vaccinated for some reason, right? I think it is worth eliminating these reasons. The governments of most countries, WHO officials throughout the entire pandemic constantly lie to people and after that expect trust? This is really weird.
As you rightly noted, the restrictions introduced in the pandemic have caused devastating damage to the economy and people's lives, I think much more than the pandemic itself. And this also does not help citizens trust the authorities and rush to use hastily made vaccines.

There is no "massive" refusal. Even here in India, you won't find more than 5% or 10% of the population who hold that view. For the third world nations, the major issue is with the unavailability of the vaccine and not the refusal from certain sections to get vaccinated. But for the government, this 5%-10% figure is a very big number. Because it hinders the required coverage to attain herd immunity. And I don't think that there was a better option other than imposing the restrictions. Countries such as Brazil and Sweden (which refused to impose restrictions) paid a massive price in terms of loss of lives.

I think the lottery is just there to motivate people to get the vaccine and probably make it something that most people will talk about and spread the word out so that they come in numbers.

Great initiative from the polish government if you ask me because it's very difficult to convince people to get the covid vaccination in any part of the world because of the many rumors that are being spread about the covax.

I don't have any issue with such initiatives. The US state of Ohio recently had such a lottery system and it was wildly successful. But along with these initiatives, they should also try to prosecute those individuals who spread unsubstantiated rumors about the vaccine. My friends in India claim that they have received dozens of WhatsApp messages, claiming that the vaccine would make people impotent. It is important to arrest such people who indirectly cause tens of thousands of deaths. Lotteries alone will not solve the issue of vaccine hesitancy.

I like the idea to an extent if people need to be motivated and those loves lottery will eventually get it as that opens the door if they get vaccinated. So even if somebody is reluctant but this lottery would just force them or willingly they will take it and begin then normal routines. And government is in win-win situation here.
The same in some states in the US.

They've done that and it's very effective since people are also trying to recover from the pandemic and have hope that they probably were the one to get the prize.

It's really motivating if there's something like this although for some, they don't look good at it.

Well, first they tried to scare the world with this pandemic... but I guess they didn't scare us enough, so we are not running to take that vaccine! They are still scaring us with new types, they are giving money/vouchers/lottery tickets just to make us get vaccinated... but I guess many of us are still not scared and interested to participate in this global experiment! The next step is the vaccine is mandatory if you wish to get out of the house!

I don't need motivation, I need the truth!

Wow, that's great news. Hopefully, we'll be able to receive it in our country as well. Being vaccinated is a great benefit, and being qualified for the lottery is an added bonus. Even if we don't get anything after getting vaccinated, it's fine with me because my main goal is to be vaccinated and imagine it's free, thus it's fine with me. They are doing it solely to persuade those folks to be vaccinated and not to be afraid of it. Hopefully, the person who wins the lotto is in desperate need of money, so that he or she can utilize it to better his or her life.

The government knows that its an effective strategy to convince the citizens to be vaccinated. It can also cover the worries of people due to the side effects of the vaccines since they are more focus on the lottery and the possible prizes. Though its also by luck, but still thinking that you have a chance to become a lucky winner is a good thing.

People here in our country are lining up and not getting their vaccinated even those who are on a second dose are having issues on their second dosage because of a lack of available vaccine, this is alarming because of the news of delta virus that is more harmful than the original virus, it's hard to be in a poor country when there is a pandemic because you have to find your way to get into the priority list.

I don’t understand what is good about such an initiative? In my opinion, these prizes and lotteries turn a serious event into some kind of clowning, and this is at best. And in the worst case, these tempting promotions make you wonder if everything is so clean here (free cheese only happens in a mousetrap).
About the clown part - yes, I agree, involving games and lotteries in all this does seem a bit inappropriate. But, on the other hand, what other choice do they have? People massively refuse to vaccinate.

Regarding free cheese - it's not exactly like that. Indeed, one might be wondering, there are so many other diseases that require vaccination, and I don't remember the governments giving away millions of dollars as an incentive then. But this has a logical explanation.

At this point, the restrictions due to the pandemic have brought so much economical damage (not only to the developing countries but countries within the EU as well), that it actually might be more profitable for them to give away money so that people will vaccinate faster and they can start returning to the normal regimen and work out this mess as soon as possible.

That's indeed a nice way to get their citizens vaccinated but I do have some queries here.
Why only pifzer ? What about other covid-19 vaccines ?
I am not really sure if other vaccines are available in Polland but if it is then why isn't government not rewarding those who get the other vaccines as well.

The second thing is, it's good that the government has found out a way to reward the citizens but wouldn't it be better if the government could reward a little amount to every citizen rather than every 500th or 2000th citizen to get vaccinated.

I think most country have those kind of let's say gimmick so that the people would get vaccinated.
Sometimes they would have some giveaways for those who would participate and for me I think it is a good one since people do need some assistance from the government due to the pandemic,
Many people have suffered on financial and also mental health.
Not really a gimmick because what would they get for? or would it benefit them? No, the government is really just concern into their citizen which is really a good thing to look

at because if you do really try to look around then there are still lots of hesitation and doubts about taking a vaccine because of side effects.

You might be eligible to a lottery but this isnt really the main concern here but its about into your health.
