You need Winrar to unzip the wallet, download winrar at
http://rarlabs.com/download.htm
From Here you have 2 Choices,
Option 1: Just start the new zeitcoin-qt.exe and let it sync from scratch , (take 2 or 3 days), if it pauses during the sync, you can just leave it , or restart it and it will jump over the slow spots.
Option 2: Fast Way (15 minutes) if you don't want to wait for the Blockchain to sync from the beginning.
Go to Any of the Following Links to get a copy of the Zeitcoin Blockchain from Feb 14th, 2015.

Yes, couldn't agree more. Cryptsy hurted ZEIT twice already, once moving us to the LTC market and now recently with the long maintenance period, when interest in the coin nearly vanished. The latter event was not so severe in the end and market rebounded nicely. I hope that this is the end of our troubles there and who knows, if Cryptsy opens back BTC market for ZEIT we may recover from the first problem as well. February 13, 2015, 06:24:59 PM

Ray - you're absolutely right, but i think that every exchange has to be supported. What will happen if cryptsy and comkort will skip trading with Zeitcoin?!?!?
Bter is a very important target for Zeitcoin but don't forget the other.
I think the more exchanges (of a reasonable volume) ZEIT is traded on the better, as it directly translates on the popularity of the coin, and for example, on the willingness of people to develop the services/apps for the coin. Now, we shouldn't forget about the risks of being on the big exchanges where the price can be often manipulated by PnD groups, there are trading bots, etc. Bter is a very important target for Zeitcoin but don't forget the other.
