Only slightly OT Wink but I did say I'd let y'all know when this was released. See it as a rehearsal for the big one, when I'll be on the 'Krypto Kings Show' (probably next week) to talk all about Zeitcoin.

I was pleased that most of my comments about the bigger picture survived the cutting room.

The movie that JB mentions, "Too big to fail" (2011, HBO) is available online:-

Note - that these are the 'people' we are fighting against. I'd just disembowel the whole fucking lot of them & leave them for the buzzards. No joke.

Everyone in digital currencies should watch this...

... ESPECIALLY before making 'trading' decisions Wink

Harvard psychologist Dan Gilbert says our beliefs about what will make us happy are often wrong — a premise he supports with intriguing research, and explains in his accessible and unexpectedly funny book, Stumbling on Happiness.

Thanks Lion. that is indeed a very insightful video and it was a pleasure to watch. I also give it my highest recommendation, a must-see video for anyone reading this topic. I especially liked the example with theatre ticket and $20 bill. I fell in that trap myself, too.  Embarrassed

I get the same impression. Someone trading in a way to get others to panic sell lower. He probably has some big buy orders lurking lower down in the wall - like there is at 186 and 187 at the moment.

Cryptsy is back, ZEIT deposit has arrived.
"How much longer will it take to process my withdrawal?
Smaller withdrawals have happened for other people, so the system is working. Does that mean you don't have the Zeitcoins to cover larger withdrawals? It sounds like you have been manipulating the market and have been caught out."

Shortly after my withdrawal was processed.  Caution advised.

There is someone trading on cryptsy (no idea who), that is trying to force the marketcap down lower.
Comkort's zeit ~270 to buy, on cryptsy 269 down to 209 is sell orders , the guy seems to like pricing around 0.16366400 LTC per order.
So if you are buying you can get zeit cheaper on cryptsy as long as his supply of zeit last.
Would get them off of the exchange as soon as purchased, in case they pull any funny business.

There is something really odd with Cryptsy at the moment. My tussle with them wasn't as one-sided as Lion's recent snack. I had to fight tooth and claw, but my Pending withdrawal was finally processed at 2am this morning.

For the best part of two days I kept on getting messages that my withdrawal pending problem had been escalated to their technical team. What's so f*``"&*%£¬ technical about clicking on the SEND button? So I sent this final message -

"How much longer will it take to process my withdrawal?

How many times do people have to get goosed before the take notice of a simple truth:-

If you don't control the private keys, it's not your money.

Quote
Thomas Tusser (1524 – 3 May 1580) was an English poet and farmer, best known for his instructional poem Five Hundred Points of Good Husbandry, an expanded version of his original title, A Hundreth Good Pointes of Husbandrie, first published in 1557. Five Hundred Points… contains the rhyming couplet:

A foole and his monie be soone at debate,
which after with sorrow repents him too late.[1]

This is an early version of the proverb A fool and his money are soon parted.[2]

*Sighs sadly* No Roger, you're just as wrong about this as you probably are about just about everything else in your sad, lonely, meaningless little excuse for a life. I bet your parents would be really proud of you if they could see what you were making of this wonderful gift for bringing humanity together called the internet. I don't hate you, I just pity you. Do humanity a favour & contact www.dignitas.ch - PLEASE.

For those who are not European, Dignitas is a place in Switzerland where very sick people can go to in order to be assisted in bringing their lives to a peaceful, dignified ending Wink

Hey podizzle,

that's a correct objection.

But there is a good solution:
Zeitcoin has multisig addresses.  Wink
They could be controlled by more than one knight.

i love the idea ray. maybe have a few addys pre programmed in there as selections to make things simpler. ofc it opens a can of worms of who controls the funds but thats a minor hurdle

Price schmice. This coin has a great feel to it. Critical mass building up ready to explode into crypto-consciousness. We should have a Greek Ambassdor. Their banks are about to collapse. They will leave the euro and need a new currency, or even currencies. Zeitcoin is a ready made digital currency. Do I need to draw a diagram? The Greek Finance Minister has appeared on the Keiser Report several times and knows about cryptos. Save him from a fate worse than Bitcoin!

ALERT

Seems a lot of dumping has started on crapsy.

As predicted Sad
Don't worry Lion, as each raise has to be retested before it may resume, if we are talking about reasonable long-term trends and not PnD. The price of ZEIT went uncorrected from 100 litoshi to almost 300 litoshi on all exchanges, so sonner or later it had to happen. Nothing to be panicking about. And yes, once again a reminder, the volume at Cryptsy is much higher than at the other two exchanges combined, still the last candle you are warning about is worth roughly 3 million ZEIT. I wouldn't call it dumping just yet.

@Ray: staking for charity - great idea! It is a must add to ZEIT wallet, taking into account where this coin aims.
