I created a shortcut and added what you said to the end of the line inside target and it says "The name "F:\Internet Downloads\zeitcoin-qt.exe"-datadir=D:\Crypto\zeitcoin' specified in the target box is not valid.

- Create a shortcut of your zeitcon-qt.exe or any other wallet
- Rigth clic on your newly shortcut and in "Target" just add -datadir=D:\zeitWallet (D:, is my 2nd drive, and zeitwallet is a folder where blockchain/wallet are stored). just replace drive letter and folder with your choice
Start your wallet with your new shortcut
Ps. Don't forget to move Database/blockhain/wallet to your new folder before starting else he will redownload everything (Copy / Past first, and if everything work, just delete old db, Blockchain from your old folder :p )

Hey guys, its been awhile since i've posted on here but im back and could use some advice. I got computer running on an ssd now and i cant afford to have the huge database file sizes to be on my ssd. I'm trying to set a symbolic junction link as ive done before with other files but no matter what i try the wallet tells me "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way." after i set the junction and closes whenever i try to start the wallet.
Any ideas? Thanks

I'd appreciate a more expanded, step-by-step, version of exactly how to do this as I have the same prob - My 120GB SSD is getting full with the wallets I have stored there - BTC, LTC, Zeit, VRC, BYC & the 7 Blake wallets.

I'm not sure what youre saying? The zeitcoin exe is on another hdd but zeitcoin only recreates the blockchain in the users folder which is why i wanted to set a junction. How do i tell zeitcoin to use another location?

If so , download , unzip file, and copy peers.dat in your C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin

My next cash-in of Blake-256 mining will go to the coinpayments vote (instead of buying more Zeitcoin). This weekend, probably.
I've been UTMA in Bytecent recently, it was a very good call, if I cashed out now I'd get around 3 BTC but I know it's gonna go much, much higher so I'm HODL for now.

clean TEMP folder... update new wallet.... Rescan... still a no-go @@
-Rescan first, Close Zeitcoin wallet , then clean Temp Folders, then restart zeit walletIf that does not work.
Which Wallet version are you running?
What is the exact time in minutes that the wallet takes to start?
What are you running on , CPU & Memory ?
Which OS?
Is it running in a Virtual Machine?
Are you running any other wallets before the zeit wallet is loaded?
FYI:
Running a Quad processor after a rescan and then cleaning temp files with no other programs running , my zeit wallet (ver 2.0.1.3) is open in less than 30 seconds, Now if I have other programs running , my zeit wallet will not open as fast.

How much Ziet needed to be a mere esquire or simple page?
So far , we have only thought about the Knights and their role.
Does the zeit community want there to be Zeit esquires or Zeit pages?
If so , Post if you want their to be Zeit esquires or Zeit pages and what you think their zeit requirement should be and what functions they would fill.
If there are a lot of postings on it , we can have the 1st Batch of ZeitKnights vote on it around March 1st, 2015.
