Finally...  thought we were going to break a record.

What duration was the record?

Also, when looking at the block stats page,  block 182403 shows 0 shares but 2/120 confirms right now.  This came right after the marathon block with 100% luck, what's up?

BTW, round duration in quick stats is showing "15491d 19:36:02" for me right now... something looks screwed up.

Finally...  thought we were going to break a record.

EDIT - Huh... so back to back shares with less than 20 shares submitted between them breaks things.  Good to know, not that I ever expected to run into that.

I'll have it fixed shortly.

I think OzCoin was having trouble with Avast a couple weeks ago.  It was determined that Avast was at fault, but I don't know what ever became of it.  Maybe it was another AV product though... in either case, yes, whitelist or disable Avast.

Some avast customers complained to Avast about being blocked from a site that was no threat, despite their "incredible" customer service display they seem to have acted on their users complaints.
I never received a response to any of the emails I sent them.

Avast keeps blocking connections to EMC by CGminer. Any suggestions on how to avoid that?

Back in November, I had selective browsing problem for almost 2 months. Even though I cant access most of the sites I usually visit, my machine din't encounter problems connecting to Eclipse.

The shitty ISP techs keep saying that the problem was with my IP because only the ones with static addresses encountered the problem. So when they said that they will switch me to dynamic temporarily, I had no choice but agree, I can't switch to another ISP. The other ISP which have better service and higher bandwidth doesn't offer unlimited access per month.

I guess I'll better wait for more info on BFLs ASIC since there's only one day left till June.  Smiley

Yeah, it looks like the problem is somewhere unrelated to the problems (that seem to be resolved) around here.  The DC is insisting the problem shouldn't affect the servers, and they seem to be up and running, so it's hard to argue!

BFL does not offer any discounts unfortunately.  At least they haven't so far... but if you buy an FPGA now, they will give you full trade in value for it if you upgrade to ASIC when it's released.

Can you post the full traceroute?

As for FPGA, BFL is really your only option if you want an upgrade path to ASIC.  The other FPGA miners are dead in the water at the price points they have if they have no trade in value for ASIC.

Btw, I have $4500 doing nothing. I'm planning to invest it on FPGA miners. Which one do you recommend? BFL, ZTEX, X6500, MODMINER OR CAIRNSMORE?

Due to the recent increase of my local power rate (now at $0.24 per kw), according to the calculators I'm not making profit anymore with my GPUs.

Ok, the DC just informed me that KC P&L is doing and "emergency fiber cut" -  Dunno why, but apparently it's not suppose to affect my DC.  However, it obviously is.

So it's not a problem on your end, it seems to be a problem with the fiber connection.  I am asking them to investigate further, since it's not suppose to cause an outage.

Hmm.. what do you get if you traceroute (tracert in Window) to 208.110.68.114?

Yes, i'm using windows. US1, US2, and US3 all resolve to 208.110.68.114.

Pinging only results in request time out, but I can access the website and login without problems.

I have been using US2.ECLIPSE.COM:8337 for DGM and US1.ECLIPSEMC.COM:8337 for PPS. It's been setup that way since anonymous PPS was introduced. The only time I modified my cgminer batch file was when authenticated PPS was added.

I only noticed 8 hrs ago that my mining stopped after I saw my kill-a-watt displaying only the idle power consumption. According to my worker stats, my miners stopped submitting shares 11hrs ago. I even restarted my modem but no luck there. Tried using previous versions of cgminers (batch files weren't modified), still no go. Tried connecting to the test port at 8117, still can't connect. Tried connecting to other pools, no problem there.

What URL are you trying to use?  The pool is up and there's about 800 miners connected.

My miners still cannot connect to the pool but no problem accessing the website.
