I would call 2018 one of the worst years for crypto currency. All the hopes for 2019 and we will finally start to grow, growth is not far off

it's too early to say that 2018 is a disastrous year for the crypto-currency market. The year 2018 is still going on and it can still happen. I am waiting and I hope that this year the picture of the end of 2017 will repeat, when everything has grown very quickly. It is possible that this year again the same thing. Wait and hope.
I am just so surprised the way crypto currency is turning out to be this 2018, when i join this space earlier this year, I use to hear people say that 2018 will be the year for crypto currency, they even listed some few coins that will do 100X in this year, but so far everything is getting worse as we go down the year. I just hope things will still pick up
We never know what might happen the good thing to do is be patient for the rise of price of all crypto. Even is not the prosperous year for crypto this 2018, still we never sure if its going to be dropping price for a remaining couple of months because the market price is so unpredictable. I think its better to wait and be patient because I know everything will be back normal again, be positive and keep believing that market price will rise again. Hey guys, I just wanted to share. Well its pretty obvious that 2018 is not a good year for crypto. Ever since we enter this year, the price has dramatically fallen and we are down like 60%-70% and its ugly if you continue to hold and seeing your wallet going down. But lets look at the bright side.
I speculate that half of the members here joined early or late 2017 and haven't experienced the bear around 2013-2014. So let's say we took this as a learning experience and accept the fact that the price will not go on a parabolic rise and we won't see any all-time-high this 2018. If others can't bear it then its better to get out of this market right now. But for those who are willing to stay, then I advise you to view this bearish trend as a test on how resilient you are to stay even if we see the price keeps struggling this year.

If you will recall, the crypto market did not start its run until late August or September of 2017 which lasted unit January 2018. We are still in August so there is no saying that 2018 will not be another good year for cryptocurrencies. We should be optimistic about this because this is what we can hold on to...
As for me I still believe that 2018 will be a very prosperous year for crypto currency, the year is not ended yet so there might still be a bull run, I think the bitcoin ETF approval might bring the bull run, so let's keep hope alive.
we cant determine that now since we still have some months to make up the year of 2018,this actually happened in some times of 2017 before everything come to normal around the last quarter of the year.
There is a big possibility that those whales are now more active and smarter than last year's manipulation. Bitcoin was reported as over sold last year and even expert traders in tradingview.com was expecting this type of scenario where BTC and other cryptocurrencies will suffer because of the hype last year. History repeats itself and this is not the first time it happen where a price movement of cryptocurrency moves negatively. We better prepare by next year because there is a possibility that cryptocurrencies will bloom higher and greater than last year. You better start grab your favorite altcoin at its lowest price and today is the best time for that.

Since it is possible and I have witnessed it myself how some small pump and dump group manipulate the crypto price then it is still possible for big entity to manipulate the crypto market

I am still hoping and always positive that cryptocurrency will still have a chance to kick going upward the last quarter of the year 2018. I am doubtful that someone manipulating the market, it still the people's who are responsible of what's going on. Many ICO delays and scammers exist which also hindrance to improve cyrpto and creates a negative impact to all traders and investors. I think manipulating the market is very difficult to happen, remembering to do that must have a large amount of funds, in my opinion the price decline is currently due to many things that have happened. for example, banning in countries, etc.
this year the market is only falling and prices are also falling. and it is unknown how long this will last.
At this point, it can be said that 2018 is not a prosperous year for altcoin and the ICO although there are many ICOs that come out daily. The fact that ICOs are at present the majority of the time is a scam project. Therefore, in 2019, ICO scam rates will decrease.

The manipulation of the market must exist, but the maneuverability is not so great. After all, this market is still a bit weighty. Not who can easily control it completely. Isn't it over in 2018? We can wait any longer, maybe there will be unexpected surprises in the second half. Same thing said by so many school of thoughts, but looking at the charts, it will be noticed that the market had a very huge bull run late last year to early this year, from all indications, the correction will still continue for sometime before another run
The conditions are not the same as last year that´s for sure, many of the greatest ICOs would now be unbelievable, and there is a drag due to scam and things like Tezos or the DAO.
Well the month has four months or more before it comes to an end, So let's still hope and wait that 2018 will still turn around for good, I believe that two week or less is enough for crypto market to jump up.
For me I will not look at the current situation and judge the market. I am looking forward to what will happen at the end of this year and then make my conclusions.
This year has been a lot of counteraction against crypto market on the part of States, and the case is not decided. Let's see what will happen at the end of the year
