Denver Nuggets are having a great performance in this series. After losing the first two games of the series at home, the Denver Nuggets won both games on the road and now have a huge advantage by winning Game 5. It's been a great series.

The Nuggets are showing us real basketball in this series and we love this game. In the first two games, the Timberwolves defense was called the best ever. The Timberwolves looked out of ideas in this game after the series tie and probably realized that whatever they did was futile. Jokic's impact on the game is huge. It's like a monster. People don’t realize now that maybe we are lucky to watch the best basketball player ever and the most complete basketball player ever. In my opinion, the team that wins this series will be the champion.

If denver somehow goes back-to-back it will officially be the beginning of a new dynasty in the NBA.

Feels like they’re already the new dynasty. Minnesota is no slouch either though. They’re a couple support pieces away from being the best team in the league.

Looking like today might be the last day of the season for Cleveland. Better not miss tonight’s game if you’re a fan because I don’t think there will be another one and with Mitchell leaving, who knows when they’ll reach the playoffs again.

Nuggets once again showed why they are the champions, coming back from 2-0 down to 3-2 lead a series is a great achievement, not because of just talent or strategy but because of psychology as well. You need to have the mindset and the psychology of a champion in order to end up with something like this, it would not be all that easy to make sure that you are playing with something major, and you need to make sure that you are handling it as well as you possibly could.

This isn't always that easy and sometimes we are dealing with problems but as long as we end up with a good result, it shouldn't be an issue at all. I personally hope that we are going to end up with a good result like this when watching, it was really fun.

The Denver Nuggets held on for the victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Nuggets were eating them up on both ends of the floor. Their defense was all over Anthony Edwards all night long doubling him on the perimeter and not letting him get up shots. On the other end they were making Gobert look like he couldn’t guard anyone, embarrassing the defensive player of the year.

They can’t stop anymore Jokic while at the same time gave space to his teammates. Jokic already knew how to break the defense of Timberwolves which is he was struggling before during game 1 and game 2. Anthony Edwards can’t do it alone especially the scoring if his teammates can’t defend well Jokic on the other side.

Jokic footwork is very hard to defend now even with Gobert great defense. It will be a reverse sweep if they can’t find away to lockdown Jokic on creating space for his team.

Denver Nuggets seems to find the key to win against Minnesotta Timberwolves, in the first two games they were playing very bad and Minnesota has the advantage in the game, but now with a super Nikola Jokic and a few changes in the way of playing Denver is gonna win the serie i think.

And tonight for me Boston is gonna seal the serie against Cleveland Cavaliers.

The pattern for the year was finally broken, before last night each team could only win on the other teams home court. That includes the regular season and post season.

Was really wanting the young gun Pacers to take out the knicks last night and take control of the series, not sure if they can win 2 in a row now and go to the conference finals.

Many thought that Wolves could able to finish Nuggets and take their revenge but unfortunately there's so many gas in the bag left for Nuggets and they have smart tacticians in the team which really help them to knock off Wolves for consecutive times. And its time for Wolves to show that they have some sort of adjustment made to outsmart Nuggets on their next game since if they remain to perform like that and let Nuggets defensive and offensive eat them then provably that we can see them get eliminated again.

But although its unfortunate experience for them to fall like this, they still have great performance this season and they need to improve more so became more better team next season.

Suddenly the Wolves  are not anymore in the discussion, the son of Jordan struggles so he is not really the son, LOL. Nuggets have made the right adjustment but the Wolves are still doing their strategy that are not working. The two bigs could not even stop Jokic, they'll only be in foul trouble if they'll try to be physical with Jokic and look at Gobert, the defensive player looks like an amateur guarding Jokic.

The momentum is already on the Nuggets, and they are good even on the road, so unless the Wolves will fix their issue and will be able to make their defense work once again, there's no way they'll come back and push this to game 7.

I don't know, I just can't feel Gobert. He should be the one stopping Jokic or at least limiting him. As the DPOY, and with this being his fourth DPOY, I expect more from him. If they can't limit Jokic next game, it's over for them. Also, Gordon stepping up is another problem for them. They need to play defense if they want to extend this series, but their confidence seems to be fading.

Nuggets manage to ready them after that 2 straight losses, now, they just made a good adjustments allowing everyone to spread and take good look shots, while if Jokic can force himself inside they are allowing him to create his own space and play his usual game, that core players are all contributing either with good defense and a support offense when Jokic needs them.

And same with your observation, Gobert needs to adjust and try harder stopping Jokic, if they don't find that right adjustments, it's over for them Nuggets will do everything to finished the series to have that rest advantage advancing to the conference finals.

Gobert has been mocked for being a DPOY for this year but he can't stop Jokic and a lot of people thinking about that Gobert award is a joke. Wolves need a good adjustment since it seems they are pretty soft and allow Jokic to dominate inside the paint.

Next game is a do or die for Wolves so they really need to produce good numbers and limit the scoring of Jokic. But to bad that it seems Nuggets already figure out how to defend wolves that's why they totally limit Edward to produce good offensive contribution. If Nuggets will perform the same then Wolves will take their vacation and Nuggets will compete again for conference finals. Its exiting but its early to celebrate for Nuggets fans since we don't know what Wolves cooking for game 6.

Yes, it's a must win for the Wolves, the good thing is that the game is in their homecourt, so maybe they can still breath and force a game 7 and we will see how great is ANT is this kind of very important game.

Otherwise it will be the defending champs moving into the Western finals again and we might see them against the number 1 team in the West. So it will be number 1 vs number 2. But if that happens, I think the experience of the Nuggets will be too much against the young Thunder.

Right, 3 straight wins now, it feels like they are going to make a sweep (technically though it is not considered, but winning 4 straight games after a losing the first 2 in your homecourt, tells something about the character of the Nuggets).

Now, the Nuggets have gotten the hang of it, and it looks like they are going to win this series. Honestly, I expected more from the Wolves since they started this series well. However, it seems like they are very dependent on how Edwards performs, and the result of this game is a good example of that because his performance in this game was mediocre due to poor shooting percentage.

There's no more chance for the Wolves as it's 3 straight games that they are not as competitive as they were in game 1 and 2. Wolves offense are nowhere to be found because they don't have a PG that makes their ball rotation better, without Conley, this is over, so if they want to even the series, Conley has to play in game 6.

ANT had the lowest output in the series with 18 points, and based on my observation, Minny now is quite hesitant to shoot the ball, they slowly loss their confidence.

I don't think there's anything that Gobert can adjust, he might be DPOY, but it's different when you are going against the MVP 1:1. Maybe they will go back to the old Naz Reid or Karl Anthony Towns in guarding Jokic. They might slow him down and force some bad games.

Looks like Gobert was just exposed as he cannot guard Jokic. The fact that Gobert as a DPOY, Towns, and Reid who take turns in guarding Jokic, but still they cant stop him, just put an exclamation mark on the MVP debate and doubts against Jokic this year.
I was seriously thinking the Nuggets are the next dynasty. This Minnesota team got exposed as the Nuggets are about to make their 4th consecutive win against them.
I haven't watch the post game interview, but I'm not sure what Antman has to say about his trash performance and now they are on the verge of elimination. I think this Nuggets win will somehow humble him down, probably.

Yeah, it's MVP vs DPOY, and clearly we see who won on that (mis)match, as Jokic scores at will with 40 huge points. And that's why in this series we seldom see Jokic being guarded by Gobert and it's mostly Naz Reid and KAT who has that assignment.

But I guess the Wolves wanted to make the adjustment and surprise the Nuggets by putting Gobert on Jokic. But obviously, it's a bad move for them. Yes, this ANT has been quiet now, his trash talking is nowhere to be found and this is going to be a big lesson for him to somewhat just be humble until they get the job done.

Brunson doing everything right now with 28 points already in the first half. I wonder if he could keep that intensity up in the second but it looks like he's saving up in the third and he'll do it all over again in the fourth. Pacers are not that far behind and they may outlast the knicks in the final five minutes.

And they did, Brunson carry the team again, but there are some unsung heroes in the Knicks uniform. Donte only had 8 points, Mcbride and then Burks did contribute in this game. But for me the biggest unheralded star is Isaiah Hartenstein, grabbing a big 17 rebounds and some few blocks. And for those who didn't know, Hartenstein is black as his father Florian is black,

https://basketnews.com/news-203932-isaiah-hartenstein-is-black-knicks-players-in-shock-after-such-reveal.html

Denver though is leading the over the Wolves and there is good chance that they might take a 3-2 lead in this series.

It was really amazing he was really on fire and you can see that he really wants to win this season and the championship is in his grasp even though Pascal Siakam was getting his great game the Indiana Pacers revolves their team play on Tyrese Haliburton's execution play but right now the defense and offense of the New York Knicks was really incredible at the moment, the turnover was not really looking good for the Indiana Pacers then have forgotten that the New York Knicks was capable of blocking and stealing let's say that the Indiana Pacers have gotten their grip on the last minute but it was not enough.

The Timberwolves Assistant Coach said the plan was to let Nikola Jokic shoot but avoid distributing the ball to his teammates. Very, very wrong decision by them. He dominated the game with 40 points and still had 10 assists and 2 rebounds shy of another triple-double.
I think that should not be the plan because Gobert cannot guard him at all. When it comes to offense Gobert has a big problem with his footwork, Jokic ain't even defending him and he keeps on turning and spinning below the rim without anyone guarding him.

The plan of Coach Malone on the other hand was successful. Double team the Antman and everything will be alright. But all of that will not be successful without the help of the energetic Christian Braun. That kid is all over the floor. Rebounding, helping in the double, shooting, attacking the paint, and fast breaks. He used his youth to dominate the game and it was damn entertaining to watch.

It was not a smart idea to copy Coach Erik Spoelstra's last season's strategy because the Denver Nuggets have already got an answer to that, while that strategy will only work if Rudy Gobert is fast and nibble he can not keep up with Jokic's at all that is why it was really a terrible strategy to place all ball and let Nikola Jokic take the shot while the Timberwolves Anthony Edwards has been defended by the Denver Nuggets easily and he couldn't do his thing and they can not also put their trust on Edwards if he can not do anything while in this position Coach Malone did very well and I think his experience with the championship has finally gotten a good grip over him.

That was very obvious, Jokic might be laughing at him as Gobert cannot stop him when challenging him one on one. Now, we saw that they cannot double Jokic anymore as Gordon is just waiting to be open and he can easily take his shot near the rim. I think the Wolves needs to move the ball very well, sometimes ANT man is holding the ball too much and just drive to the paint which is very predictable. What's lacking here also is the 3 point shooting of wolves, as they seem to loss their confidence already.

Gobert is indeed a great defensive player but he really failed against a slow but high IQ and accurate player like Jokic. Jokic is offensively a complete package and his ability to set up plays makes him too unpredictable for his defenders. Even Dwight Howard cannot stop this version of Jokic. Without a doubt Jokic deserved that MVP award.

The chemistry of Denver is also on different level. I like ANT but he seemed to showed some arrogance lately. I keep on hearing a lot of people including my friends calling him as the new face of the NBA when they won the first 2 road games in this series and I loved it seeing how Denver was being awaken and demolishing the Wolves.
