Celtics could not give Dallas a chance to beat them as anything can happen although there's no team yet that we able to come back from 0-3 deficit. IMO, it's okay to end the series at the home court of Dallas than risking their chance of winning the championship. We will know tomorrow if the Celtics could finish the series, but in case they'll fail, there's like 90% they'll win in game 5.

I was hoping that the series will be longer, but here it is, just like the last NBA finals, it remained boring. 

Exactly, Celtics is full packed with high versatility players including their bench that’s why they can have a rotation of players frequently since they can cover any players role. The addition of Porzingis and Holiday gives a huge impact on their current line-up. Now they have a balance overall stats compared before that only Brown and Tatum tanking the contribution for the team.


Considering the celebration part you’re right but since Celtics is thirsty on championship, I really doubt that they will wish for a 1 loss while they are 1 game away to their ultimate goal. They can always celebrate at Boston whenever they want

The Celtics are just stronger as a team, and it no longer makes any difference for the Mavs to lose this series in 4 or 5 games. In principle, the Celtics will probably even be happy if their opponent can win the next game because they will obviously be more pleased to celebrate their championship win in their home arena than in the Mavs' arena.

Not even close though, and I think Tatum already knows that but it should be fine with him as finally they will get a championship at their young age. Maybe that will be the target next time, but getting a championship is more fulfilling that an individual award.

We must deal with the result since both of them have miss calls and its just the other team which have disadvantage is more vocal regarding on what they experience since its expected that they will show their disappointment since they think that is one of reasons why they lose. But if we look at the real situation we can see that Mavs is really struggling on the defensive pressure given by Celtics to them. We see almost all of them struggle to score inside the paint and in 3 point area. But it seems they didn't figure out the solution of the problem that's why Celtics get the 3 - 0 advantage.

Talking about who have more higher chance to win FMVP there's no question that Brown have more higher chance to win that than Tatum since Brown is more consistent on their finals run that's why he deserve to be name as the finals MVP this season.

We sometimes call it rigged when the result does not align with our expectations. Honestly, determining this Finals MVP from the Celtics is quite challenging. I think we are down to one last game. If the Celtics sweep Dallas, the player with the bigger contributions in game 4 between Tatum and Brown will likely get the FMVP. Based on the current statistics, in my personal opinion, I think Brown should win it because he has had a bigger impact on the team than Tatum. But that's just my opinion, and I could be wrong.

But I don't think that the panel will vote for someone who they think they deserved it. Parker won the MVP in 2007,  I think even Iggy deserves it in 2015 over Steph Curry.
Iggy for me won that MVP because on how he played Lebron in the finals. And it was a big impact, that's why the Warriors won that year.


Well you can argue about Michael Jordan not deserving of his 6 finals MVP? And with that, I don't think it is rigged or somewhat some entities are trying to manipulate the outcome of the FMVP in my honest.

I do agree that sometimes he complains a lot to the referee, looking for foul is good but I guess the referee has too much of his acting and what not in the court that's why most are no calls at all. He might have one of the biggest IQ in basketball right now though and most of the time he takes advantage of it.

Anyhow, for Mavs backer, it's hard to see them getting a win in game 4, hopefully if things good on their way, they might get at least one win in this series. But to say that they are going to win? Might not happen sorry to say that. I love the Magic, they are a great team from the West, but the Celtics are dominant all throughout.

Luka need to be mature and stop complaining since this is what always give him a problem since he can't able to guard due to his unnecessary actions he made. He just let the game flow and complain when there's a chance. Since if he don't stop to act like a child then for sure he would became a defensive liability for his team. Celtics always punish him for that and he need to learn from it so that they would still get a chance to have a good comeback on finals. Its to bad that what people could able to remember him is his bad actions or complains inside the court if he just learn how to shove it off and play defense on the court then maybe he could able to contribute more in crucial minutes.

Game 4 is do or die game so they just need to stay on focus and stay away on distractions.

If he didn't focus much on fishing foul and complaining to the refs, they could have completed that come back and who knows win the game. Luka is good but sometimes he complain too much when calls are not in his favor, if we review the game, we will see there are two sequence where Luka was left in the other side while Celtics are already running because he still complain after falling. Now, they are on a do or die everygame,  there's no point of complaining, just play real basketball and aim to win every game.

Brown played like an MVP in the playoffs and I wouldn't be surprise if he'll win the Finals MVP after winning the ECF MVP.
he just so matured with his game, he doesn't play a lot of iso though he has the talent, instead he gets his teammates involve and you can see how confident he is when he shots the ball.

True, let's give him more seasons for Dallas, taking to the NBA finals is a big step moving forward already, maybe next time they'll get the job done.
But guys, this series is not over yet, we have to remember that as Celtics still have to win one game to finish this.

Unfortunately, after my post, it looks like the Mavs have lost their shooting touch and allow the Celtics to make a huge comeback in the first quarter. Also the second quarter was still very much close, it was in the third that the Celtics created so much space that even in the last five minutes of the last quarter as the Mavs makes a huge comeback and cut the lead to five points, it was the best that they can do.

Now it's 3-0, the chances are slipping away from the Mavs, Luka might be mad at himself because of this lost at their homecourt. They still have one game at their home, so I guess it's moot point, they might just be thinking of winning one to not just that sweep in the finals because that is humiliating.

And it will pay off for the Boston Celtics as they awarded Jaylen Brown with a huge 5 year , $286,230,000. So at least the money that they put on him didn't go to waste as they are going to win another ring for the city since the days of Paul Pierce.

For Jason Kidd though, it's not his year, need more pieces and most likely in the off season they are going to improved a lot of things. I'm also excited as what can ANT man do next season, if he is for real or just a fluke.

They've been running the Tatum-Brown duo for years already, and it's good that they haven't gave up on it especially at the time where they are at the bottom spot of the East, and many are saying at that time as well that this duo must be separated already and one of them should be traded. It's good that the Celtics management didn't listen to them hence, the patience is paying off already.

Minnesota will be next? They will be, but they need to do 2 things. Trade KAT for another young all-star caliber that will benefit Edwards, and trade Gobert. No hate for Gobert, but he's overrated and for me, he doesn't deserve his DPOY title that he got. As for KAT, they need to trade him for another player already because he's eating too much cap space for the team, but his performance is at an average player level (same with Gobert).
Well, there's no official NBA rule where the Finals MVP must come from a winning team, but ever since the 60's, the tradition of giving the Finals MVP to the winning team has been maintained, and it's still happening until now. I guess from now on, let's just assume that the late Jerry West will be the only player who will make that achievement. I mean it's their way of remembering him.

Yes, everyone knows that it will take a miracle for Dallas to win the championship, it's just a matter of score. Maybe they can forced a game 5 and avoid that sweep but that's it. But this could be a learning experience for the Mavs and look for areas that they need to improved and I'm seeing some trades need to be done with their role players here as they are missing. I do agree that it's about time for the Celtics duo of Brown and Tatum to win their first NBA championship together. And they also have to thank the Milwaukee Bucks because they were able to acquire Holiday that really makes the difference playing defense on Luka.

It's okay bro, that's how it goes in the NBA finals. We're getting to see how it will happen for this season's finals and I guess every Mavs have already accepted it that Boston Celtics is this season's champions.

It doesn't matter to me as well because they've got their own conference MVPs and that's one thing already but then, for these players, this is an important award as this is going to be their career achievement and for sure another factor for their contracts to have a better guarantee salary.

I agree, although I have bet against them and I want the Mavs to win this season. That's what they've been doing I think since the playoffs or even before that. They've always played well and this two tandem has worked for the Celtics.

I can't wait for that, Antman has got more charisma though.

Perhaps too soon, but I think Jerry West would approve.. People saying that Jerry West chose to die rather than see the Boston Celtics win another title. 

Boston deserves it though. Tatum and Brown has been a long running experiment and I’m glad to see them get one. I think Minnesota is next up though.

Brown being better on this series doesn't really mean much because FMVP is not decided based on stats, it is basically voted by some people, and makes no sense to me neither but that's the truth. They could give it to al Horford if they want to, and nobody would be able to stop them. This may sound like a joke to you, and I understand why people may think that's not going to happen, and likely that it won't happen we know that.

However, it is not that far fetched, they didn't give Curry his first FMVP, not even to Klay or Draymond, that year they gave it to Iggy, that's basically like giving it to Horford this season, there is literally no difference. That's why FMVP doesn't really mean much to me, it is just a rigged thing that nobody should care.

And that was it, It was the Boston Celtics who got the lead in the 3rd quarter when the Dallas Mavericks were now having trouble with their offense while the Boston Celtics got theirs in a slow but sure manner, I also thought that the Dallas Mavericks would win this time but I was wrong Luka Doncic was short in this game and can not continue the game at the end, because he was fouled out in the 3rd game and making a bad decision and even though having crucial fouls he decided to make that defense to be fouled out and it was really that time that Dallas Mavericks having a great start and plunges to the bottom as Luka Doncic was out of the game and with this the Boston Celtics need only 1 more win to be the champion I hate to really say that but I don't really want Boston Celtics to win this season Championship.


What I have to say is back then the Boston Celtics had an easy way to get into the Finals Miami Heat didn't have Terry Rozier and Jimmy Butler, the whole game and the Cleaveland Cavaliers didn't have Ty Jerome, or Jarrett Allen, the whole game and  Donovan Mitchell in the last 2 games, and the Indian Pacers that doesn't have Bennedict Mathurin the whole game and Tyrese Haliburton in the last 2 games.

The Dallas Mavericks had a harder road getting into the finals so yeah the Dallas Mavericks will need a longer break for sure because they have faced the Los Angeles Clippers a team that is considered to be a threat getting into the finals the Oklahoma Thunders are pretty much insane and the Minnesota Timberwolves that have an immense skill with the defense and if not for Kyrie Irving stopping Anthony Edwards then the Wolves might get into the finals.
