Lebron is already top 3 without a doubt and many people put him above Jordan already.

Well they're idiots then.  Roll Eyes
Jordan is by far the best player ever. You may not have seen him play but there was never anyone to dominate the game the way he did and he did it against much better opposition than there is today (players like Magic, Bird, Barkley, Malone, Thomas...)
And don't give me the "he had better team" excuse, he made the team.

How come no one is talking about the New York Knicks today.

Finally they have their first home win since 12/1/2018, and not only that, they beat the Spurs which is known as a good team and dominated them in the entire game. Things are getting better on the Knicks, the trade was good, they have new players that really stepped up.

Final score - Spurs 118 - New york Knicks 130

Imagine that losing streak, 18 games, damn, They're glad it's over though.

Even Samuel L. Jackson mentioned it in the Oscars,  Grin. And what do you know? Long Time NY fans Spike Lee won as well in the Oscars, so it's dual celebration.

Damyean Dotson lead the NY team with 27 points, with eight three point shot.

I'm not familiar with his name, probably a Rookie.

I'm pretty impressed by his performance, upon looking at the stats of the game, I found out that he had 8-13 in 3 points shooting.
Probably that shooting gave them a comfortable lead that the spurs weren't able to rally to.

I woudn't be surprised in James Harden will win the MVP again this year. As you have said, he is putting a lot of works and his numbers are way about the rest.

I don't know though, but it looks like Houston hasn't forgot last year conference finals that's why when they face Golden State they're usually pump up and wanting to prove something. Good win for them.

Westbrook was so underrated this season, he is putting tripple double and his team is winning now.
If I would choose the one to be an MVP, I might choose Westbrook because he is stepping up now and he has turn the OKC to be one of the best team in the League.

Ohhh someone sees him.
Yes he had been a dominant player even from the start or when he was left by Durant. He can carry the team, he just needs role players behind him.

He might be under rated because people are looking at basketball now in a differenr way. Like the Curry and James Harden thing.
Three pointers had been more dominant in the eyes of the fans. They love to see it and NBA management knows that. The reason behind the sensitivity of officials when they are firing and after the shot. e.g. Harden.

I still prefer those Westbrook players. Sorry for me being old school.
I am more of a Jason Kidd fan.

I know they are not good enough to do anything but they honestly need to at least make the playoffs, Lebron can't afford missing playoffs in his career for a GOAT discussion, one miss of playoffs and he is out of the GOAT discussions.
I don't think that even the most biased sports analyst/commentator would point out in "GOAT discussions" the one missed playoffs of Lebron James (if that happened this season) as it could easily be rebutted by mentioning that he is the only active player to date to appear in 8 consecutive NBA finals. It's just one missed playoffs it doesn't end his career in that way we all know that Lebron didn't expect to have the best Lakers team possible this season as he knows himself that the upcoming free agency period will be his best chance to recruit stars to sign up with the Lakers which will put them up to one of the best NBA teams to possibly win the championship.

Well said, Lebron will always be on the goat discussions no matter if he will miss the playoffs this season. The combination of his talent, size, strength, speed, and leadership is a tough act to follow. One missed playoffs doesnt hinder that discussion.
Anyway, the Lakers are still in a rebuilding phase. Magic and their management were too smart not to trade the young guys, theres enough space for the superstars to sign next season.

This Lakers team is sooo black and white. Dudes won against rockets like its nobodies business and destroyed a team that almost beat golden state warriors last year on conference finals (and just beat them again last night) and now they have lost to pelicans without Anthony Davis.

I mean Lebron was playing as well, dude played 38 minutes at age 35 (or 34?) and had 27 points with 12 assists and 7 rebounds but it was not enough. Lakers are doing alright on offense now, they are not that bad but they really really need to step up their defense, its really not even remotely good enough to make it to playoffs let alone do something there.

One year of not making the playoffs won't effect Lebron's all time ranking.  Lebron is already top 3 without a doubt and many people put him above Jordan already.  Most experts say Kareem, Michael, and Lebron are the top 3.

I believe that the Lakers will go to the playoffs this time as LeBron's playoff intensity is activated but how I wish they place on the 8th seed and GSW maintain their number 1 spot so they will be match up in the first round and when this happens the series will be like the Western Conference finals and whoever wins this series would be the 2019 NBA Champion.

Westbrook, Curry Giannis is really a good candidate as well as everyone is putting incredible stats this year. But I don't know, its a tough call this early though, it really boils down as what team really performs and how those players are helping their teams.
A very tough call as everyone of them really showing their greatness performing so well, there's a lots of time and games to still showcasing their capabilities, the league still too early to recognize who's going to be the best among those contender's that we are naming right now, needs to wait for additional  performance coming from each of them.
There are two candidates for MVP in OKC, not only Westbrook is doing well, his buddy Paul George is also helping him to carry the team to the top.
OKC is currently top 3 in the western conference standing and there's always a chance that they could end up no. 1 this season if they continue to improve. Meanwhile, in the East, although the rank are close but I believe they are pretty dominated by the Bucks.

The warriors are winning but they are struggling lately, they are not the same dominant team who can easily beat their opponent.
Their last 3 games at home are won by single digit only and on the last 2 games, against sacramento and Miami Heat, they only win by 2 points, these 2 teams are not a legit playoff contender but they cannot dominate even at home. I see they are a different team this season and the Rockets might be the next champ.
I don't know about the Rockets being the next champ. Maybe the Warriors are really struggling, yeah, they might not be the dominant team as we have seen them in the last 2-3 years but I think they can still pull it off in the Western conference and face a tough and physical East team so it makes it more interesting.
We don't know but if you will ask me, I would love to see a new match up again, Harden has been playing really well
and he deserved to be in big stage. The warriors are still the same team, they maybe struggle now but they are still the favorites in the NBA to become the NBA champion. Faried is a good addition to the Rockets, he can be very useful during the playoffs and Paul should remain healthy as his points are back now.

A big loss for the Golden State Warriors.
Even without Harden of the Rockets their role players seems to be doing good.
They are in hype. They did defense and offense and all are like excited to play.
The GSW though had a bad night. It is not like them. They are not pumped up.
Green got a strain injury at the 3rd by stepping on Cousins.
All in all Tucker, Gordon and CP3 did a great job and a hand of applause for Faried, he made a lot of difference for their game winner.

Trading rumors should be set aside while the season still on, they two young guns needs to prove their worth.

The trade deadline is over, so does the trade issue with the Lakers. Magic and the Lakers management was too smart not to trade these young guns, since there were a lot of superstars that will become free agents next year, they could atleast land 1 or 2 superstars.
That would be big but aren't they concern with their chance to be in the playoffs this season?
With the way they are playing and the competition int the west, I'm afraid they will not reach the playoffs this season, it would be embarrassing for the king since he consistently bring his team to the NBA finals and not able to enter the playoffs with his new team.

Moreover, have you seen how Davis perform lately, he is not as intense as before, and today they loss after being up by 20 points.

LeBron will definitely bring the Lakers to the playoffs this season. The pride of the king will remain untarnished that every season he would enter the playoffs. It would be difficult to bring it to the finals though.
Hasnt he been to the playoffs every year since 2010 even under different teams he has been with? I remember him with the heat and cavs bring them to the conference finals time and time again.
I know he has made it 13 out of the 15 years he has been playing.
