I think the main basis was the scoring. I've seen the stats and likely the score card that was posted b some random page on facebook. It's really needed to get some revamp for such stats because there are also other good players that may deserve to win the MVP. Typically, with all of these awards comes from those winning teams and they also need to recognize those players that are from a not so good team but having a decent stats that's recognizable. Maybe soon or within the next conferences, they'll consider that but that's it, congrats to Abay.

Just bet for NorthPort -3.5 @1.93 vs DYIP. Though Stephen Holt will be making his debut against NorthPort which i think that he will struggle at first adjusting to the kind of play of the PBA. The PBA is known to be physical so i think as usual they will succumb to the more talented guys of NorthPort. For me, Holt will be a force which will help DYIP but not on this game, maybe a few more games then we can see his true value to the team, i hope i'm correct on my speculation on this one hehe.

I didn't catch the game, but it seems like Ricci Rivero is proving to be a valuable addition to the team. I read an article below praising how the young players of Phoenix contributed to a comeback from a double-digit deficit and secured a double-digit victory in the end.

I didn't watch the game too just chech the score board but if that's what happened then it's a good start for his career, if he continue playing like this, chances being noticed by both SMC and MVP groups will be their knowing how good the radar of these two giant's groups, might be cooking show behind and an intense offer that can't resist.

Too early though, a single game won't conclude your overall performance, but can gain attention and create good positive impressions.

That's the problem if converge will decide to sell the team and another farm team will be able to bought it, then we will expect that either SMC or MVP will take charge, there's no balance anymore maybe the reason why converge doesn't like to waste their money, or maybe they already part of the farm team which only hiding behind a good company name.

That's my suspicion because it seems like this team isn't so aggressive in improving their lineup. Before they bought it, it was an Alaska team that went to the finals and won championships in the past. In fact, I remember Tim Cone when he was the head coach of Alaska, and they were doing great back then. Calvin, Casio, and Manuel—these are the players I remember who were playing well for the team. But if I recall correctly, Tim Cone wasn't their coach anymore.

Northport might be the favorite, but when it comes to NLEX against Phoenix, I'm not so sure. Phoenix is a solid team, although they might not be as strong as SMB and Ginebra. I don't think that they will sell the franchise, they lose because in basketball there players who got an off night and for sure they will bounce back, besides they are still adjusting to their new players, the chemistry is not there yet but eventually everything will be fine. Its just that Blackwater was lucky that almost everything they threw, went in. Just a note that Converge hired Willie Miller as one of their assistant coach so they are serious in their campaign in the PBA.

I believe the days are long gone when teams not owned by SMB and TNT could compete at a high level. The thing is, these big teams like SMB and TNT can afford to pay top players attractive salaries, which often leaves the smaller teams with more mediocre players. As a result, their chances of winning don't stack up as well against teams composed of superstars.

Take SMB, for example. We can see that they've gathered players who were previously leading their former teams, including names like Romeo, Jeron Teng, Jericho Cruz, Perez, CJ, and Vic Manuel.

The 2nd and 3rd quarter were the low scoring quarters but in the 4th quarter both teams scored at least 30 points but it was suppose to be a foul game and maybe his bet has a chance of winning. It's just unfortunate that ROS melted a lot of time and failed to shot the 3 point shot, that could have made the game interesting as they still have time out I believe.

His coaching style still have that big impact for the team, but the players that he managing I think that's the big difference compared from those players that he handled from the past. But I really doubt it will happen since they would provably struggle since SMB and MVP group has so many stars on their team.

That's the point that I really wanted to brought out, there's manipulation and we can't deny that fact and if I remember it right coach Yeng is very vocal with how the league is being handled, in terms of being a contender, the chance for ROS is very slim just like what you mentioned the rotations of players, both SMC and MVP squads do have multiple stars who can help to carry the team compared with what ROS got right now.

That's why we cannot expect that those independent team will win a championship right now since they can't even get those great players on their team since usually the farm team of those big companies are always there to take those number one pick then trade to SMB or MVP groups. That's why I don't feel excited watching PBA because games are much predictable. Compare before where we can really see those independent team can compete since they can still get great players that can help them. If PBA remains like this for sure a lot of people will lost their interest to watch them. But still even if I'm not into PBA now still getting some updates from inlfuencers to see which team are currently leading and following those Gilas boys performance on PBA or even on international stage.

I wasn't able to watch the game, but I'm quite surprised by the outcome. I thought Blackwater was a bad team, but beating Converge by 19 points is just too much. The moneyline odds are quite sweet on this one, so whoever bet on that moneyline is already okay not betting on the 2nd game.

Talking about the 2nd game, I thought it's at 7:00 PM. I was surprised it hadn't started and found out it will start at 8:00 PM. Has the PBA changed their schedule? Usually, the last game of the day starts at 7:00 PM at the latest.
