Bad news indeed but i do agree with your opinion mate that the PBA landscape will change a bit and most likely TNT Katropa will be the favorite to win as RHJ is a proven import and only Brownlee could match his intensity (as far as last year is concern). But with TNT Katropa also having issues with manpower, i do think that the Commissioner's Cup trophy is open for grabs for all as of now.
Hope this new network could deliver what is expected of them.
Based on what Rondae Hollis-Jefferson showed in the FIBA World Cup and Asian Cup, he is already a proven import who might easily dominate especially without Justin Brownlee in the league. TNT is lucky to have him back, and aside from already creating some chemistry, they know that he is a reliable import. This is unlike first-time imports who are often on a trial basis, and if they don't fit, the team has to look for another import, which can mess up their chemistry as the conference is going on.
I think Justin Noypi will have an extended vacation now after winning a gold medal for our country. He deserves that break. Unfortunately, there is some bad news. I hope he doesn't take it too seriously, as the result might not be true, especially since the host country is the team they beat. Even if it is true, he's not the only one who has violated rules, and he just needs to make sure he doesn't make the same mistake again.
For now, we are awaiting any possible sanctions that Brownlee might face. Let's stay up to date on that.
That's value a lot especially in a team sports, chemistry and trust that they already established from each other, with RHF the team can bring him the ball and let him take over, that's the kind of game he loves and he's known to be more offensive player that can give a high percentage of converting the basket.
In terms of JBL, not sure if PBA will punish him but for me personally, they should allow him to keep playing to show support with the man who brings us gold, not to dramatic but we should not follow that sanction from that protest.
It's just simply saying that we believe and we support whatever they think, better to do the opposite.. Hahaha
