Like you, I also lost my bet, and I really thought that they would win it since it's a close game, but not until we reached the 4th quarter, and they got outscored 37-21. Anyway, that's part of the game. Sometimes unexpected things happen and TBH, it's good to see an independent team like ROS battling toe-to-toe against teams like SMB and other big teams. They have a good coach, and I also hope that this roster of them will be intact and will develop furthermore so that they can compete with SMC and MVP teams.
I think ROS has become a serious threat to other teams now. With Coach Yeng back, he’s clearly made the team better. Their guards are very quick, love to run, and don’t hesitate to take shots. On top of that, they have a solid import who fits perfectly into their system.
As for SMB, it’s just not their time. They’ve lost some key crunch-time players, and maybe if they had kept Romeo, they’d have better offensive options. Also, CJ’s performance seems to be declining, I don't know, maybe it might be a coaching issue. Just my observation.
Yeah, I noticed them last season though they've felt short on that campaign but interest from the fans is already with them, now that they continue playing as one and with the import who manages to play accordingly, he really helping those young guns to feel that confidence knowing that a big guy is their to help and willing to do everything to win.
In terms of success, let’s see how far they can go this conference, But i have to be honest, I don’t see them as a championship team just yet, so they might struggle in the playoffs due to a lack of experience. However, I’m not ruling out the possibility of them making it to the finals.
In terms of SMB, I'm bias as I love seeing TR7 playing but with how coach Gallent misuse him and now struggling to build that good chemistries and performances from each players that he have, might be best for the main SMC franchise to consider replacing him either bring back coach Leo or find a new one who got something new to offer for the betterment of this franchise.
yeah, I see the same and I think I'm also bias. how can they not utilize Romeo, he is a true champ, had won a finals MVP and shine during international competition. I now miss coach Leo.
