So, we'd see more of these games from them to be something like this. So, yeah, a good start for Balti having that loss and this.

I missed this game, thinking it wouldn’t be interesting since Phoenix was already on a 4-game losing streak. But their desperation really paid off tonight as not only did they win, but they also beat a strong team that was the last remaining undefeated squad before this game.

What you noticed is valid; that’s definitely something they need to work on. If the game had stayed close, they might have lost again because they still struggle to execute under full-court pressure defense.

That's the right way to do if they wanted to maximize Balti, they need to fit him and make let him feel comfortable with his new team, just like how he's playing with his former team, though his place might not be the same and the league that he's playing now is far different from the other, it's the adjustment that he needed together with his teammates and his coaches.

Wow, Eastern is the real deal, they beat Ginebra last night.

They really gave JB a hard time, as he wasn’t shooting well in that game.
Eastern’s excellent ball movement was a big factor in their win.

However, despite that, if Brownlee hadn’t struggled, I think Ginebra could have won as they managed to stage a comeback in the 4th quarter but just fell short in the end.

Congratulations, that was an easy win! I honestly thought Phoenix would give Ginebra some trouble since they played really well in the first half. But wow, they completely collapsed in the second half, they just couldn’t make their shots anymore.

Yeah, he needs some adjustments though it's his first game and for sure he's not familiar yet with his teammates even they've practice together but in a real situation there's adjustments that he needs to take care, though like what you mentioned he's going to be a good help inside as Balti is a known big guy who can move inside and protect those boards, a 2-way player who can contribute just need that extra time to figure things out and find his space to help the entire team, let see on his second game if what adjustment him and the coaches will do to make him more effective and for him get his composure and confidence.

I noticed that too, although I didn’t watch the entire game. Meralco is probably not happy with their import, so they might be looking for a new one.

Anyway, I think Blackwater is good when they’re healthy. One of their locals was the best player in that game, and King continues to be a consistent import. Next time, I’ll bet on that team for sure.. especially if they’re the underdogs.
