There is some offers I think in B league and in MPBL. Who knows where he'd go but there's a requirement I think that's being said that he has to play 21 games first before retiring. I'm not sure if that's a real one but just like a resigning employee, he has to render sometime to be allowed to get out.

The MPBL is really competitive now, not just in terms of salary but also the league's overall setup, it’s designed like the NBA, where teams travel to play on their opponent's home court. It’s even turned pro already. In fact, DeMarcus Cousins, the retired NBA player, has played in this league, which definitely adds credibility. So, if C. Stand ends up in the MPBL, I’d honestly be happy for him. He’ll join the other Gin Kings big man who’ve moved on as well.
Thanks to Pacman. He's really setting the bar close to PBA and he's giving more opportunity to the kababayans that are talented and wanting to make a living out of basketball. And it's not just C Stand that's likely to get in there, also Kyt Jimenez that didn't have much starlight on SMB is probably going to make a return there where he'll be getting more playing time.

In terms of set up I like MPBL more than PBA like you mentioned the design is same a like with NBA, the format and how the province really gathered their squads they are building and establishing competitive lineups, though in terms of salaries not sure if CStand will earn the same amount he's recieving from PBA if he's looking for more money better to explore overseas and take his chances, the offer is more huge compared with what PBA and MPBL may offer.

Let see if what will be the development as per social media post he can't retired yet as he needed to complete certain amount of season of games not sure if that's for real and also base from the commissioner's interview Terrafima still have the rights if ever CStand decide to play back for another team it's Terrafima rights to trade him.

For sure that he won't, he doesn't like to be in Terrafirma and most of the players when traded on that farm team, their career is about to end unless they're traded to a better one. If he gets to retire for real after expressing it, he can just find the better pasture for himself and career to keep going on like in what you've said, B League or Korea.
Instead of being on a farm team, it's better for him to retire. I guess he already find another thing that will make him happy right now that's why he announced his retirement. He will be a free agent after his contract with the Dyip, but I doubt that he will come back. Now he realizes why Greg Slaughter isn't playing on PBA anymore. I believe they have experienced the same thing. Being on SMC team, getting traded to a farm team and decided to go out of the league.

Him playing overseas? That might be an option, but his age might be a hindrance. He's only 35 years old and that might be a reason why other teams outside our country will not try and get him. I hope though that he will have an opportunity to play overseas still despite nearing his post-prime years.

We don't know what's happening inside, the full story but there was a report before that it was C. Stand who asked for a trade.
This would tell the whole story.

Standhardinger admits making trade request from Ginebra in the past

Not sure if that age was really a big deal because Cabagnot after being traded, he played for a bit but later on he signed on overseas team... so let's see how would it develop in case he'll officially become a free agent.

C Stand planned to retire early. IMHO, it's a better decision for him to retire early and find some better opportunities in other leagues than staying to a team that he don't like. I guess most players that plans to retire with their best team won't happen if the team decides to trade them.

I don't know if the decision of Cstand to retire is final, how about if Terrafirma would trade him to Magnolia, would he still retire or continue playing hehe.

But i do like his decision to retire playing in the PBA and continue his basketball career elsewhere, maybe in Japan where he could get more money than he earned in the PBA.

Another win for Eastern.. Once again, they came in as underdogs with a +2.5 spread against Converge, and they delivered big time. That’s two straight double-digit wins now, and bettors who backed them must be celebrating those sweet underdog odds. This team is impressive as they’ve got great shooting and excellent ball movement, which makes them unpredictable, but.. let’s not get carried away just yet as the real test will come when they face powerhouses like TNT, SMB, Magnolia, or Ginebra. Until then, congrats to everyone who cashed in on this game.
It looks like they’re still the same team as the last time they played as visitors. They’re now ranked number 1 with two early wins this conference. They should feel good about this, and even though they’re the visitors, I can see the refs are doing a good job with fair calls. In their first game, they were +7.5, and in this game, +2.5. Maybe next time, they’ll even be the favorites.

By the way, their next game is against Rain or Shine on December 4, so they’ll have plenty of time to rest before then.

Better to take that opportunities if chance was given to him, signing a overseas contract will give him decent amount of money and with the talent that he got surely he'll be able to get one hahaha.. Though I'm not sure what's next for him but with how the social media hyping his retirement maybe there's no going back unless MVP will show interest hiring him.

Got a chance to play with both SMB and GSMB maybe Mags will be the next one if ever SMC still interested in hiring him after throwing him with their farm team, hahahah.

Looks like he might already have some options to play overseas, where the salaries are way better. His career in the Philippines hasn’t really taken off, so it makes sense for him to make a move while he can still contribute and perform well. If that’s his final decision, I wish him all the best.

On another note, I’m watching the first game right now. Meralco isn’t looking good, they’re down big, 73-54, against Phoenix. And this is the same Phoenix team that lost to Eastern in the opener. Hoping Meralco can stage a comeback in the third quarter because they really need to turn this around.

Beneficial for Manuel and Romeo since they will get more minutes on Dyip, but on Tiongson and Cahilig because they will get fewer minutes.

That still depends on their performance. Take Rhon Jay Abarrientos, for example, he was just a rookie in Ginebra but was already given significant minutes because the coach saw his potential and great performance.

I think it’s a smart move for SMB since their core players aren’t getting any younger.Tiongson, in my opinion, is an underrated player. He might be small, but he’s very effective, not only is he great at managing the floor, but he can also create and score points for himself.
Well, that might be true for Abarrientos, but that isn't the case for all.
I'll take Trollano as an example. He was a big piece when he's on the NLEX back a few years ago, but ever since he joined SMB, he's gotten fewer minutes already despite his great performance on his old team.

Like you said though, the core players of SMB like Ross and Lassiter are getting old already hence, they need younger players to help the team. I just don't understand why the team will get so many guards in their team. Out of their 15 current players, 10 of them are guards (based on the pba.ph website), and because of this, I predicted that Tiongson will have fewer minutes compared to when he's on Dyip. Too many guards that will have a share of their own minutes, but let's see. Who knows, they might put him on the starting line-up if he performs well on SMB.

The PBA has fully embraced the changes from the last conference, and honestly, I like it! Now we get games almost every day. Later, there are two matchups:

Northport vs. NLEX
Blackwater Bossing vs. Magnolia Hotshots (Timplados)

I’m planning to place my bets on these games later, but as always, doing some research first is a must, especially when it comes to the imports, since they can heavily influence the outcome. I haven’t checked the betting odds yet, but I have a feeling the first game will go over, given that NLEX is known to be a high-scoring team.

It is best to check the game first as you mentioned imports got a big influence with how the team will perform with a good chemistry with the import the team can improve both defense and offense, you'll have to watch and check first if how the team will perform before taking your pick and place your bets, might be better if possible to place it during the live event so you'll have a good look if how the team is performing you can have a good chance picking the right team to support, good luck kabayan!

I lost my bet because NLEX couldn't score, lol. What kind of game was that? So far, I haven't seen a close game this conference, last three matches were total mismatches. By the way, Magnolia looks really strong right now. Their import, Ricardo Ratliffe, is a beast. Dude's built like a tank, dominating inside with ease.

Today's results:
Northport 114 - 87 NLEX
Blackwater 100 - 118 Magnolia

Looks like Magnolia's gonna be a tough team to beat with Ratliffe as their import.

Yup with how Ratliffe dominate the game if he continued playing like that and with the locals shared decently Magnolia got a better chance this season, though too early for concluding that but I guess it's a great start from them, by the way Lastimosa got a decent performance today as per the rookie his debut is good giving his team great contributions, it's a long delayed because of his injury but hopefully he'll be able to play more healthy this season and adds up for entertaining their fans.

The visiting team, which made it to the finals before, is back again. I spotted some familiar faces, and they’re going up against Phoenix. Earlier, they had a double-digit lead, but now it’s down to just 7 points, this should be a great game.

I’m surprised the pregame line was -7.5 for Phoenix, so I bet on the other side, knowing Phoenix isn’t always consistent. So far, my bet is looking good, I hope it ends with a win.   Cheesy

I believe a different team is joining as a guest in the PBA right now. Previously, the Bay Area Dragons were the guest team, but now it is Hong Kong Eastern. Interestingly, some players from the Bay Area Dragons, such as Blankley, are now playing for Hong Kong Eastern. I hope I got that right.

My bets for tonight game:

NLEX -1.5 @1.91
Magnolia -7.5 @1.85
