Alright, it has been concluded. TNT is the champ for this conference. Congratulations to those that have bet for the team.
Castro is the finals MVP. Well deserved although many of us thought that it's going to be Calvin Oftana.

Yeah right, it was concluded and congrats Ka-tropang giga for winning the title, they deserve the win as they played so well it's really a team effort though with the good leadership of RHJ and Castro together with all those players who has been given the chance to play and share whatever they can to adds up for this win.

Gin kings unable to force the game to a do or die as TNT response to their system and manage out run then especially in the final quarter.

I might be a bit biased, but I think Ginebra will likely win tonight. Still, I don’t want them to win Game 6, as that would put TNT in a tough spot for Game 7. Good call betting early as you got that spread before it moved to -3.5. I have a feeling it’ll rise even more as the game gets closer. Everyone’s thinking about Game 7 now, and I’m not sure if TNT can beat the majority backing Ginebra.
I think they didnt cook it this time. TNT finished the ge 6 already and won the finals. Too bad for Ginebra wasnt able to do a game 7 series for this match. But its no shame imo, since the TNT players is quite competitive and all in good shape.

They dont rattle out and still keeps shooting thumbs to the players such as Castro, The import and oftana true shooters.

TNT just has a bunch of players ready to step up. Sure, Castro and RJH did a lot to secure this win, but Pogoy’s three-pointers in the 4th quarter were definitely game-changers. And here's the thing, TNT had a great start in the 4th, going on an 8-0 run that evened things up at 74-74, forcing Ginebra to call a timeout. TNT's defense was also solid in the 4th, and it felt like Abbarientos ran out of luck, which left Ginebra short.

Congrats to us, lol. I’ll just update our local tomorrow, maybe.  Smiley

Expect a huge crowd tomorrow - it's do or die for Ginebra, so support will be at 100%. If it goes to Game 7, they might even move it to the Philippine Arena to fit all the Ginebra fans. And history shows Ginebra usually wins in Game 7. So, I think TNT's real chance is to finish it in Game 6.

It’s Friday, and with most people having no work or classes on Saturday, we can expect a massive crowd supporting the Barangay Ginebra Kings. If the series goes to Game 7, Ginebra is likely to take the crown. Therefore, TNT will try to finish off the Kings in Game 6. However, my bet is still on the Kings, hoping they will extend the series.

My bet: Ginebra -2.5 @1.92.
Bai, I'm coming with you but I will do Brgy. Ginebra -4.5 @ 1.57
I wasn't able to achieve -2.5 @1.92, jeez, that's awesome odds! The game will start in 30 minutes from now. Maybe I was already late of the good odds. Well, maybe it will change once the game starts and I can bet more. I will watch this game tonight!

End of the first quarter and things were not looking good for the Gin Kings. But we still have three quarters to go, let us see if Barangay Ginebra could turn around the tide.

edit: end of the first half and Ginebra managed to grab the lead by a point behind the heroics of RJ Abarrientos.

game 1 tnt by 16
game 2 tnt by 12
game 3 ginebra by 12
game 4 ginebra by 14...

The trend continues as TNT won Game 5 by 27 points. If Ginebra ties it up tomorrow, they’ll probably win by double digits, or maybe we’ll see a total flip of Game 5 in Game 6. Bettors who backed the team to win by more than 11 points likely made good profits, with odds around 4x or more.

Hahaha.. I feel you but that's how things works all now is about business competition might be part of it but more on how the people behind will benefits, from the league itself to those bookies and gamblers, all are tied together and work to support each other, for now  there's nothing that can be change it's how things works since the time both SMC and MVP dominated the league.

They will make a history again and break this..

This was against the BAD.

Nice observation, as if the trend continues and gin kings managed to tied the series there's a big chance that handicapped backers will win much decent amount, though game 6 might be different as TNT  will push everything to win the game and complete the series while on the other side gin kings needs to counter that and win to force for a do or die game.

Audience wise, it will be beneficial for the league as fans may love to witness the final game and see who's going to win.

If I were to believe the game might be rigged, then Game 6 would favor Ginebra.
This is what we're saying even for the past seasons and why many fans don't like the PBA anymore. And even with the 4 point implementation, that has taken the attention for a while but then, it's just that's it.
If the Ginkings will win the game 6 later, I won't say that it's rigged but this what it's like and has always been happening for ages. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt for now even though I am one of those doubters before and believing that it actually is.

The audience last game 4 proves that even it's no longer entertaining for most fans but there are still who are willing to spend time and money to support their favorite team, especially Brgy Ginebra, that never say die attitude still in the heart of their fans, they are showing their numbers and bring the intensities inside the arena.
Yeah thats the thing about fans on pba even they knew the modus in the game they still watches and support their team. Thats I guess was a filipino culture bound not to change.

Anyway more fans or audience more money for the commisioner. It turning into an entertainment sports like wrestling.

LOL, what happened to Ginebra? They got absolutely crushed in Game 5. I hope they can still find the confidence to bounce back in Game 6.

Such a defeat in a Finals game is confidence-wrecking, and I just hope that Ginebra can quickly move on from the loss.

If I were to believe the game might be rigged, then Game 6 would favor Ginebra...everyone loves a Game 7, especially with stars like Brownlee and RHJ, two of the best imports in the PBA. I think I'll bet blindly on Game 6, taking Ginebra to win, but definitely not without a fight.

Same here, let us just assumed that this is a stage finals where it will end in game 7 LOL.

And guys, the under hit easily in that game. I think I’ll stick with the under again next time...it seems like the safer move.

Under is the way to go as the score for that one after 5 games is 4-1.

I gues the reverse sweep I mentioned will never going to happen. I think Game 6 will go to Talk N Text as well to end this series. I guess those two wins by Ginebra were just given to make money for the venue. (Back to back governor's Cup ito para sa Talk N Text if I'm not mistaken.) Sorry, but I'm really a PBA hater and I rarely watch PBA finals anymore. But unfairness to PBA Finals games there still many audience watching the games in the venue (but if it is only GSM). lol
I understand your feeling for saying that and I'm one with you. But trying to keep the optimism around still, I can't remove that in my mind that the games could have done something like that as usual. I'd still give it to both teams for doing everything they can to make the most of them for their performances.

It is indeed, for sure if it's not Ginebra there's lesser audiences that will support the game, in terms of possibilities maybe TNT may win or maybe they'll be making another drama to force the series to a do-or-die  game and will place it to a much bigger venue, maybe Philippine arena is waiving for catering game 7, hahaha.

Like you, most of those old fans are no longer excited knowing that the league are being controlled by some known personalities and the competition is not the same anymore.

So this game 5 will be a die out matchnto see whose taking the lead.
That's why the game is so physical right now. TNT has an early double-digit lead, but we all know how strong Ginebra is, they could easily come back in the second half, or at least cut the lead to single digits, and then make a big run. If that’s what happens, this series will probably end in 6. This game is crucial for TNT; they’ve already lost two in a row, and they can't afford to drop this one, especially since it’s a confidence booster for the rest of the series.

Let's see if they can make a strong comeback in the second half. The first half was all TNT - they're up by 23 points, which is a huge gap, but nothing’s impossible. If Ginebra can chip away at that lead in the third quarter, maybe get it down by 13 points or more, they could go all out in the final quarter. Ginebra's known for their "never say die" spirit, so as long as there’s still time on the clock, it's not over yet.
