Most fans now are open minded and we're not bias if the management and the league is honest. But, we all know that the league is becoming a joke anymore and it's sad to see that whenever I go in the comments section of pages related to PBA, most comments are making fun of the league and its officials.

The team will be recognized as they'll be getting the championship title if they win that. But not recognizing those individual talents, this is really something crazy that these commissioners are thinking.
They're part of the league, even they're just a guest, they should be recognized for their talent. If an MVP is from the guest team, why they're not going to give it to him? What's something hard on that? Because of pride? That because of the teams are being exposed that they've become a farm team? Come on, Kume, they can do something better or else, other local leagues like MPBL, Filbasket and the others will cover those negligence they do.

I don't get it too! they are playing for the whole conference so they should be rewarded/awarded to the effort that they've done, it will be a big challenge to our locals to perform well as the individual awards can be taken by the visiting team, I don't know why PBA dictate that only the team award can be taken but not the individual, maybe it's better for the league facilitators especially the commissioner to review this rules and be appreciative with how the foreign team dedicate their time to join the league.

It looks like PBA is not acknowledging the talent of those individual players who are showing great sportsmanship right not. PBA is a real mess here, even on other countries they appreciate foreign teams for being here, I wonder why PBA is not doing it. Dragon Bay Area should continue to play well and prove that they are good, this is not an individual game though but still there is something wrong with the rules and the system.

Lots of superstars from this team before that was taken by SMB, some good example are.

1- Cabagnot
2- Romeo
3- Pringle.

They also won a championship already on their respective teams after North port, so you are right, we should not be surprise to see Bollick out in this team and will be playing in the best team in the PBA, either SMB or Ginebra, I guess.

If I recall it right, Romeo was traded to TNT first before moving to SMB, I was in the impression that after Alapag retired Romeo will be a good replacement since TNT was known to a dribble and drive system and Romeo is really fit to that gameplay, but when the time Romeo already catching up and making his resume for the TNT, it was a surprise trade between TNT and SMB not sure what happen behind but it was a lucky trade for Romeo because after that he won a title plus a final's MVP.

Moving back to that topic, do you read the latest post of Slaughter? Not sure if I get it right, but he's mentioning that NP is not a winning team, not directly as controlled by another big name aside from the owner and coaches. There are some behind influence.

I don't know since Gregg is really upset with how NP work with his career, not giving him his expected contract.

Mentioning also the chemistries that already been established after that all-pilipino season, SMB is no longer a Fajardo centered team.
Perez and Cruz are attacking with the ball while Tau and Manuel are there to battle for the rebound and receive the extra past.

While the original members of the death 5 still towering over the entire team, the role players are also helping they are really playing as one.

I remember the post here where the odds are heavily favoring Dragons to the point that the odds of both teams is 1.01 for the Dragons and around 12 for the NorthPort.

They just showed that the Dragons are still beatable and they really is even though they have a star-studded looking team. Unfortunately, Powell will only play the first 4 games and that 4 games are against those independent teams and Andrew Nicholson will play the rest of the games. I really want to see Powell playing against SMC and MVP teams but it looks like not it will happen.

By the way, when Ginebra and San Miguel will play against the Bay Area Dragons, the Dragons will have a new import. They will employ Andrew Nicholson as their import and Powell will be seating out. They will have different dynamics because Powell plays point while Nicholson is center. I wonder if they will be stronger or weaker now that their import is a center. Powell is doing an incredible job as a point guard. The Dragons are not lacking in height, and they already have a good center in Liu Chuanxing and Duncan Reid.

Agree with you there. However, if Bay Area Dragons instead have an easy win against Northport last night, I doubt most bettors will bet against them in Moneyline no matter how tempting the odds is. Only a few will still take the courage to place a bet on the underdog team and no matter how big the handicap is against this guest team.

But for let's say the Dragons got an easy win against Northport, I'm sure that if against SMC teams, especially Ginebra and SMB, the highest ML odds I'm seeing for these teams will be around @2.1 - @2.3. No way bookies will consider SMC teams as a heavy underdog against the Dragons.

Well then, let's wait for the odds once the Dragons are now up against SMC teams.

To those that are in the central Luzon where the center of the typhoon is, be careful guys. Going back to PBA talks, Kume said that they're very open of having a guest team again next season. Look at how this guy talks, the conference has just started and now looks forward to the next season.
He said that teams are learning but, the main people that are learning here are them, the commissioners. They should really add more teams to fill those talents that are in different other leagues.

True and they might be a slight underdog if they face the all-Filipino cup champion SMB Beermen if their succeeding performance will not be too good as their first game.
