Meralco vs Magnolia, it's a close game. We can't speculate who will win the series right away.

I would still vote for the Magnolia to win in the series, but I think they'll go down to the wire and there will be a game 5 in the series. While Ginebra would try to rest as early as possible, the other teams are just like playing a chess match making the right adjustment in every game.

Well, let's see if it won't be a sweep.
They'll be swept, lol.

I can say that Ginebra really is strong on this conference and they'll be going to the finals with these performances.
They will be in the Finals again and the success rate of Brownlee is very high, so they'll likely win again.
However, without Japeth, things will not be easier for them as a team like Magnolia is always there to challenge them, I even think Magnolia will be the favorite in the Finals, so great chance for bettors thinking Ginebra would win.
Ginebra are more convincing now after winning the second game and the next game will be crucial without Japeth, NLEX might still win the rest of the game so better for Ginebra not to be complacent and stay focused. NLEX lose their import and right after that, they started to struggle and the result is very costly for them. I still want to see NLEX fighting for their chance, hoping that game 3 will be more interesting and let’s see if they can finally beat Ginebra.

I agree with you. They are not letting NLEX do their best. I don't know how NLEX will come back at the series. They are totally owned by Ginebra. If only KJ McDaniels is there, they might have a chance. It's a Ginebra in the Finals. I don't see a comeback from the NLEX. I don't believe they will defeat Ginebra 3 times in a row. It's a miracle if they will do it and Ginebra will surely have lots of criticisms.

Meralco vs Magnolia, it's a close game. We can't speculate who will win the series right away.

Even though the Kings were without Japeth but still it was an easy win for them because NLEX doesn't have the local players that were capable of competing against the locals of Ginebra IMO. I'll give NLEX one win max if this will not be a sweep. PBA commissioner would be happy with this development seeing the Kings advance to the Finals, just hoping though that their opponent would be the Bolts.
ginebera San Miguel is still the king here and they have the crowd also so must be better if they will see us in the finals for sure the big dome will be full again if they are up into the finals.
So for sure the mods in the Philippine basketball association will want Ginebra advance to the finals too as it was a big money for them if the big done will be full.

Good idea to skip on Game 2 betting. Although Ginebra won, Magnolia will surely spoil my bet.

With the way BGSM is playing, any NLEX doings are nothing. I'm seeing BGSM will now finish the series next game. Will check Magnolia's odds next game to see if it's worth placing a single bet or will do a parlay for boost odds. Might end up betting on a spread if ever.

Magnolia is likely to win Game 3. I like the competition last night, low scoring game means tough defense.

Magnolia fans have to move on that Game 2 loss.

Their import Mike Harris accepts the loss and the reason he takes is, they didn't perform well. If only they did, even with that controversial call, they will still win. We should also see give credit to what Meralco did.

Learn mistakes, be calm, be prepared, be ready next game, move on, and beat Meralco the next game.

Seeing a comeback next game, no way Magnolia will allow another win by Meralco.

Moreover, they are under SMC management, so they might prolong the series with some magic job by the refs. If you know what I mean.

It's good revenue for the league if these two will face each other in the Finals that's why extending the series is always possible. The Manila Clasico is one of the classic rivalry in the league since back then. Many fans want to see this matchup and are willing to pay for a ticket just to watch it live on the venue.

If they will face the Finals, and maybe there's an attempt to extend the series, they should show good entertainment to us and satisfy the audience.

But honestly, I didn't see the Finals will have a magic touch of the refs. Both teams will be serious to win.

Well, the semi-finals could be the same just like what happens in the finals. If you know what I mean but still let's see.  Grin
I know what you mean, and I know it will not happen. haha.
Ginebra maybe a good team but Magnolia is healthy and complete, so I expect a close series.

Well, these two really are the ones that are set to face in the finals. Still, there are a few more games to wait, and let's see who's going to face and who's going to make an upset with their series'.

There's going to be no upset as most likely if Ginebra would face Magnolia, the odds would be like 1.80 or 1.90 for the favorits. Moreover, they are under SMC management, so they might prolong the series with some magic job by the refs. If you know what I mean.

These players are the speculated target players of the Converge Team.

They choose Jeron Teng as their main player and will do their best to surround him with good teammates. I just don't know how they can possibly sign these players:

RJ Jazul
Jamie Malonzo
Matthew Wright
Mo Tautaa
Javee Mocon
Greg Slaughter
Rashawn McCarthy
Troy Rosario
Isaac Go

From this list, I think  Greg Slaughter is the only possible player that they can sign.
Converge bows to have a better players, so for sure they’ll do their best to get those best players most probably to offer big so they can established a great team. Maybe, some of the players of Alaska will also play in converge, most of the players on the list are ok, as long as they have the money they can catch big players who are still not in contract with other teams.

The fact that the converge are looking for players to be added to the roster, means they are not contented with the current roster and maybe some will be absorbed while others will be let go. They are like employees from a company that is bought by a new owner, the feeling should be scary as some will lose their job as expected.
They are the new team, so fresh players are also advisable and its correct that if they still have the money they can get good players but for sure its must be free from any contract because if not, PBA will surely intervene to prevent converge from getting good players. Hope to see some players of Alaska since they are also a good one, great coaches should also be on Converge so they can really compete with the other teams.

On the other series, Brownlee stepped up and scored 32 points and the best player of the game as well. I don't think that Coach Yeng will let Ginebra sweep them but they will at least get a win even though many are already predicting that Ginebra will advance to the Finals. I just saw a post on Facebook a while ago (can't remember what page posted it) but it says that Brownlee has been the import of Ginebra for 4 Governor's Cup and with that 4 seasons they won 3 championships. This season is the 5th one and they are just one win away from going to the Finals again.
I feel bad for NLEX when their import Clark got out of the game too early. The first 2 quarters, they're leading and they could have just maintained their position on those 2 quarters. But still, they get to lose that lead and they were even surpassed with their lead by Ginkings.
Coach Yeng already said before game 2 started to his players that if they'll do the same, they'll lose again yet they lost on game 2 again despite having that motivation and change in plan. Well, let's see if it won't be a sweep. I can say that Ginebra really is strong on this conference and they'll be going to the finals with these performances.

Dbag scam team/league does it again (3rd game in a row), NLEX up 39:23 after 15min and in the next 15min they are 12:33 , makes total sense.

When does FIBA or any supervision look into this shit and stop this?

Next game and NEXT scam, lol. Same as last game, leading whole start of the game until 43:33 and then some minutes later it is 49:58, another easy peasy 25:6 run against NLEX, as always .

Still not rigged when it happens every game?

It's still not rigged for me. what are you thinking? do you expect that the favorite always wins the game? Come on, this is a semi-finals series, every team will adjust especially those teams that are losing in the series. Actually, if you are a bettor and you are aware of the system, there's nothing to worry or complain about.

You'll only call a game is rigged when the outcome is opposite of your expectation, but don't mind it brother, it's normal, sometimes people have their personal opinon even though they don't have an evidence calling the game rigged.

3 of the last 4 games NLEX did this, leading by 10-16 points and then totally stop playing and getting a 25:6 (or similar run), I didnt even bet on this rigged shit today because its obvious now whats going on in this dirty league. Once ok, twice maybe, but almost every game? U are kidding right?

I don't know about your observation, but for me, I think everything is normal. it's only rigged when they are ensuring a specific team to win, and that huge run you witnessed in the past games, you should not be surprise with that as after all basketball is a game of run.

No Japeth, no problem.  Smiley

That's what happens in the game. C. Stand was able to do the job Japeth left and he had more production in this game compared to game 1. I just pitty the NLEX because they are struggling now after a good conference, if only their import did not left, they sure have a bigger chance of beating the Gin Kings.

If the import didn't leave them, the chance is really good or the competition may be more intense compared to what is happening right now.
NLEX has a great conference, but right after that change the chance of getting sweep is possible knowing how Coach Tim works. He always wanted a sure series to take.

Early break means a lot for every team to go to the finals. They have a good rest and are still capable of doing practices if there's some adjustment to be done.

I don't think that Coach Yeng will let Ginebra sweep them....

What can he do? I mean, NLEX could not win even without Japeth Aguilar, so we already know what they can do in the playoffs. they probably need to improve their defense and offense. Overall, import vs import, and Locals vs locals, the advantage is on the Ginebra kings.

Game 3 is going to be the last game of the series if Ginebra will win, so they will not waste that opportunity as they would choose to rest early.

The series is now tied for Magnolia vs Meralco, while Ginebra is in a 2-0 lead.

Great defense by the Meralco, they were able to limit Paul lee and he struggles in the game.
Paul Lee only scored 10 points and had a very poor shooting night with 3/16 FGM/A.

Congratulations to them, the series is getting more exciting unlike the NLEX vs Ginebra series where NLEX could possibly be sweep.
All is well in the Game 2 of Magnolia and Meralco and we know that Meralco will win it already but what is that no call of shot clock violation at the final seconds of the game? I mean if you watched the game, you will see that the referees didn't make a shot clock violation with the Meralco thus many audiences and I mean many are booing the referees which they deserve. Its almost the same as the bubble where a referee called a foul to a non-contact between Lee and Heruela if you can still remember that controversial call. Still congratulations for the Meralco and the series is tied Smiley.

On the other series, Brownlee stepped up and scored 32 points and the best player of the game as well. I don't think that Coach Yeng will let Ginebra sweep them but they will at least get a win even though many are already predicting that Ginebra will advance to the Finals.
