WHoever will be the next opponent PH national sqaud already developed that Puso and laban mentality, we've seen how great the players shows even those young guns who only got some minutes to play they are all in playing for one goal, I'm hoping that they will continue improving and adopting how the international competition works and how they will suit themselves in any situation that they'll be going to face.
Moving to the semis means another tough contender who have that same intentions, OQT is almost at hand they just need to prepare harder to earn that spot.
Gilas will be facing powerhouse Brazil in the semi-finals, another tough opponent but with the confidence that the Gilas boys have now, i think they have a chance to beat Brazil though slim but the possibility of an upset is there.
Win or lose against Brazil tomorrow, we should applaud what the Gilas under coach Tim Cone have done this FIBA OQT.
With that upset win Vs. Latvia, I don't want to underestimate our team anymore.
That win might just be one win only, but that changes how I see our team now. Oh wait. They're being coached by one of the best coaches that we have right now in Tim Cone.
Right now, even a 1% chance of winning is already huge for our team. I also said that Latvia is a powerhouse team in Europe, but they lost. Anyway, let's support our team and whatever happens, I'll be proud with the achievements that Gilas got. Just a bit off-topic.
Did anybody saw how Bitadze tried to tie the game into overtime in the final seconds of the game so that they will have a chance of going to the semi-finals? What if that putback from him went in? Is that legal based on rules?
